So, I had this company install a new garage door and opener to replace an old one in July of 2021. Besides the poor customer service I received; I had to replace a broken spring on my "new" garage door yesterday (which was a little over a year old). I hired a reputable garage door company to come out to replace the broken spring of which they discovered that Platinum Garage Door installed the wrong springs for the type of garage door they installed a little over a year ago. Additionally, two panels on my garage door has a date of 2015 and one dated 2020. I thought I had purchased a brand new door. I should have known something was up from the very beginning given that my initial appointment was rescheduled twice with very little notice. Then, when they initially installed the door the middle panel had a huge dent in it which took them 3 months to replace. It was after I threatened to have them give me my money back and take their door back that they came out to replace the damaged panel. Please beware of this company. They will sell you used or older garage doors and parts.
