First of all, your call is answered by an answering service. They are not a local company as there website would have you believe. More importantly, they are only trying to sell you a new unit. They are not interested in repairing anything. They will recommend replacing your unit even if it only needs a minor repair. BEWARE

I purchased a brand new garage door system/opener and had it installed from Precision that was nearly $800. Unfortunately, the technician failed to inform me that the new system did not have a light bulb and that it was not included. When I discovered there was no light, I contacted them and spoke with the technician that same day and he told me that he would come back and install it for me. The next day I contacted the corporate office and spoke with Candace and she contacted Michelle. Michelle let me know that she would work with me and do what she could. Eventually, I called back and spoke to Michelle myself and she promised that she personally would come out and get one installed in the new system we bought. It has now been over week and I have not heard from the technician nor Michelle at the corporate office. This company has very poor service. My service was incomplete. I would never recommend them to anyone! Buyers beware!

Last Sunday my garage went off the rail so I needed to get it repaired. I made a appointment with precision and I was thinking they would come out and give me a quote on repairs. The person that came out said he was the GM and looked at my garage for maybe a minute and came to conclusion that I needed a new door. Thats after taking a brief look. He gave me a quote of 2800 dollars but since I was a first responder it would be 2500. I passed and had Prolift come out and Kevin looked at it and he said he could have it fixed in 15 minutes. He then gave me a quote of 235 dollars and had the garage door fixed just as he said. It appears to me that precision was only out to make a buck. By going with Prolift I was able to keep 2500 dollars in my pocket. Precision had no intention of trying to fix my door but only to sell a door that was not needed. Precision should not advertise that they do repairs when all I think they want to do is sell a door even when its not needed. I will promote Prolift because they have integrity and wont try and rip off their customers.

Absolutely one of the worst experiences with a business I have ever had. After making an appt with a man who sounded like he couldn't care less, I should have listened to my gut feeling and found another company. After waiting for five hours to have my car liberated from the garage I finally called them to find out that the man who answered the phone didn't bother to pass the job on so I have to miss another day of work due to his absolute unconcern for his business. I contacted the company with a "oh sorry" for a response. I hope something like this happens to every person involved with this company. They offered absolutely no solution.

My experience dealing with this company was very unfavorable, we have 2, 8 ft garage doors, one top panel cracked causing the panel to buckle inside and locking up the opener. I called couple of door repair companies who estimated around 500, however Precision showed up first, I was shocked when they're initial estimate was *******, which I reused immediately.Company employee said he would give me a special coupon for ****** and they could add a brace on top to reduce cracking in the future. This should have been a red flag, but my wife wanted it repaired ASAP. The invoice was ****** plus ***** tax, which does not look correct. I paid half the bill 357.00 of ****** which included a 2% credit card charge ? I was told the repair would be completed by the next weeks Tuesday, Wed, which didn't happen. after calling about this delay, they showed up the next Monday, after the install, I told the final bill was 3***** ? I asked for a copy of invoice, after calling over and over they send me one and the total bill changed from ****** to ******, I called asked for billing, was told they would call me back. Lol

I requested a repair on my garage door opener. They sent a repairman out. He came on time. He adjusted the chain. He asked me if I wanted him to lubricate the equipment and I said yes. He sprayed a lubricant on each of the rollers in the garage door. He put a heavy grease on the bottom of the metal holder that ran the entire length of the chain. The heavy mechanical noise was now gone. Two days later the noise came back. I responded to an email I had received from the owner of Precision Garage Door, *****************. I stated that I had a problem and asked that he, or one of his assistants to call me back. I got an email from ******** with a number I could use to call their office.I called and spoke with "********" (I think that was her name) and stated my problem and asked for a refund so I could order a new garage door opener. She said she would have to have a manager/supervisor speak with me about a refund. I tried to get her to quote me a price on a new garage door opener and cost to install. She said that they only had one price for door openers and installation. I tried to explain that I wanted a certain garage door opener. (I had looked at garage door openers at Lowes and knew what I wanted.) She said she could only quote me the one price that had for the door and installation. The amount of more than $200 higher than what I was quoted from Lowes. I asked her to have a manager/supervisor call me about the my refund request. She said she would. This was on Oct 30th.On Oct 3rd, I sent another email to *****************, Owner, and said that no one had called/contacted me. I stated that if I had not heard from his company by 5pm on Oct 4th, I would submit a negative review of his company. Here it is.
