Bryan actually did work for us twice. In 2020, he replaced a garage door opener (almost 30-year old Craftsman) with a new LiftMaster belt drive opener. Last July, he replaced two garage doors, installed torsion springs on our 'main' door, moved the opened he installed in 2020 to our secondary door and installed a jackshaft opener on the torsion bar. We had several estimates and Bryan beat all the others. From prior experience we went with him and were not disappointed with the work he did. Great job Bryan!!! I called the garage door guys on Monday November 18 around 11:30 a.m. I spoke with Brian and he scheduled an appointment for me the following morning.. Robert was the technician who came to my rescue.. He arrived ahead of scheduled appointment time.. There aren't enough stars to rate this awesome young man.. Robert answered every question that I had, and in a VERY courteous manner..I can't say enough about how GREAT Robert was.. He had my garage door repaired on a very timely basis.. So,with that said. I will definitely call the garage door guys for any repairs that I have in the future.. I will request that Robert be the tech that they send. Great job Robert I am forever grateful to you young man..

I would not recommend this company at all. I believe they prey on women. I was quoted 1 price and charged another. I spoke to another company about my situation and they said I was definitely overcharged. For a half hours worth of work I was charged $305 for a broken spring. Robert was the technician and owner Brian K. was totally unsympathetic. Ladies be aware!!!

I've used this company twice for replacement of garage door openers at two different homes. Both experiences were very positive. The work was done professionally and efficiently at a reasonable cost both times. I referred them to friends once and they were very pleased as well. I highly recommend the KC Garage Door Guys.

Our door stuck and was backed into by our car, damaging the door and trapping the car in the garage. Bryan fit us in between other calls in the area the day we called, and was able to get the car out and the door down. He gave us options to repair or replace the door, and was able to perform the service within a few days. We got his name from Angies List, and were very pleased with our contact with him. We've been customers of the Garage Door Guys for several years, and Robert has been our technician on many service calls. I just have to write again and say what GREAT work they do! We had our garage repaired/refurbished, and at the end of the work the garage doors needed to be re-set again. So I called the Garage Door Guys, and they were able to set up an appointment for the very next business day! Robert came out and spent over two hours, re-framing and re-hanging the tracks for the doors, making sure that everything was level and ran true during operation. The cost for the job was EXTREMELY reasonable, far less than I was expecting to pay. And he did it all with a smile!! Once again, the Garage Door Guys provided excellent service at a reasonable cost with no wait time. FABULOUS!

The day after Christmas our family had just finished packing their cars to leave, when we hit the garage door button to close the garage only to hear a horrific sound! Our garage door cable broke leaving the door completely wedged and broken. Both our cars were inside the garage and the door would not budge. After attempting to contact several different garage door repair companies with no luck (so close to the holidays most were closed), a friend recommended the Garage Door Guys and we we not disappointed! The technician phoned ahead to let us know when he would arrive. He was friendly and professional. He told us all of our options before beginning work, which I appreciated since I am not familiar with the ins and outs of garage door repair :) He told us that our door weighed over 500 lbs and posed a potentially dangerous situation for people and our vehicles if it were to completely fall off the tracks. We were glad we didn't attempt to "free" the door ourselves. After working for several minutes, he was able to unjam the door and get it lowered. He was not able to "save" the garage door, it was so damaged along with the cable, tracks, rollers and hinges! He was able to safely lower it without damage to himself or the vehicles trapped inside. We are getting a new door installed in couple days.

Had garage door opener 'emergency' since it wouldn't go up or down. Technician was able to get me on the schedule the same day to fix it before the weekend. It might've simply been a weird glitch but it's worked since without incident. He also did a tune-up of all units while here. I'd used them before but will use again. Services Rendered: Garage door wouldn't respond to commands from remote.

I called last night about my garage door not working anymore and today I met Josh who came to my home and waited for me until I got home snd fixed the door that was not working in less than an hour and he even lubricated my other door for me and gave me great tips to preserve my door for as long as possible. Josh was so kind as he showed me all the areas that I should be oiling on a monthly basis and showed me each and everything that he did. I am so happy that garage door guys still believe in great customer service and satisfaction, plus they are so reasonable. These are my new peeps for all things garage doors! Thank you Josh, you Rock ! I will be telling everyone to call you for garage door issues !!

I was easily able to make a convenient appointment to address some unusual noises our garage door was making. Bryan was able to quickly remedy the issue and also did a much needed tune up on our garage door. Our door clearly has some issues from its initial installation when the home was built, and I appreciated Bryan's observations and recommendations related to those.
