It's not everyday one has a Garage Door replaced but using Local Garage Door Repair Inc for the job made it feel as comfortable and easy as hanging a picture frame. The company was extremely communicative, in particular, Danny, he was honest, friendly, not salesy, and professional, and the materials appear to be of the highest quality. Highly recommended

I ordered 2 garage doors. The work took a while to start because I had to get a custom garage door installed, but installation was quick and easy. The communication with the company was very good, along with their customer service. My sensors did die 1yr and few months after installation, I'll write another review once I receive direction on how the company will help resolve our sensor issue. The pricing for the initial installation was awesome. Labor to fix parts post garage sensors are pretty high though. Overall it's a trustworthy company for anyone looking for professional garage installers.

Called them for a garage door adjustment but ended up replacing the whole garage door opener and rail. No waiting time , it was done on the spot and everything worked great, job quickly done.

My garage door stopped working, and they came out the same day, gave me a great price, and fixed it super quick. The technician was fast, and did a great job. It was a relief for me to have my garage door up and running again much faster than I expected! Thank you Local Garage Door Repair Inc!

I called because my electric garage door was kaput and needed replacement. The technician came within a few hours gave me an estimate and had a new system up and running in less than 2 hours. It was a smart system so I can open and close on my phone and was simple to set up thanks to the help of the tech. The whole experience was smooth no surprises and it has worked like a charm these past few months.

From ****** L They were not a local business in my city, as advertised. In addition to checking the license number, check for workers comp insurance. No worker's comp. insurance (exempt) for license #*******, even though I talked to numerous employees. Took hours to respond; I spent 2 whole days waiting plus hours waiting on 2 other service call requests. Total of 4 service appointments and door is still not fixed. No written estimate for a $538.00 total bill. Worker said he taxed me for labor. I'm a senior and he wanted me to climb on ladder to re-connect the trolley that he disconnected. Over the phone, he requested I sit on garage floor to re-align the sensors, so he could avoid returning to fix a door that would not close. The work vehicle was unmarked and dripped oil on my cement driveway.Overspray of chain lubricant fell on my new car's windshield and will not completely scrub off.Black smudges and handprints on bottom panel of the garage door, which were easy to remove, but had to scrub down all the panels so they would be the same color.Paid $500 labor for installing rubber seal and attaching new sensors with no wire nuts.Get a written receipt with their license no. & check it in the look-up for contractors.

Complete rip off. Not honest on the price. " springs will cost you 250" but didn't say it was multiple. Come up with issues just to charge more. Stay away ! Made a mistake do not check reviews and cost me 1,250 .

This is a scam. Just charged us $**** to replace springs and cables on two garage doors. I know what a job like this should cost due to recent experience and they charged about 4 times the price others charge. It was supposed to be just one garage door repaired but my husband is very trusting and I was not home when the guy showed up. They sent a subcontractor in an unmarked vehicle and asked ** to write a check to the subcontractor at the end of the job. No physical address or phone number for the subcontractor. So the warranty they promised is garbage. This feels physically painful to be so taken advantage of.

Don't even think of using this company. 996 dollars to replace 2 springs which were under sized for our garage door. The problem for which they were called, the door didn't close, was NOT fixed with the 2 new springs and we went with another local company. This company appears to go under many names Local Garage Door Contractor's License Detail for License # 1034050 Danny's Garage Door Contractor's License Detail for License # 1064269 Legendary Garage Door Contractor's License Detail for License # 1046181 ANCHOR GARAGE DOOR AND GATE REPAIR INC Contractor's License Detail for License # 1038883

this is a con!! This is not a real company.. they just dispatch local people that they don't verify or know who they are. The people they. sent overcharged, and LIED about the cost.. then they said they were going to give us a manufacture warranty which they did not provide. This is a scam.

This company is a front for local, inexperienced garage door repair people. I had a lift cable fail on a 2-car-wide garage door and in an emergency situation called Local Garage Door Repair Inc.. This company dispatched a repairman who replaced the cable and said that the torsion springs needed to be replaced. I called another company to get an estimate for the spring replacement. They said that the springs did not need to be replaced and that the replacement cables that this Local Garage Door Repair installed were not installed correctly and were dangerous; they showed me why - the cables were popping off the lift rollers since they were the incorrect length. Local Garage Door Repair also overcharged - $350 for an incorrect cable replacement. The other company did the replaced the incorrect cables and did some additional work for $225. Do not hire Local Garage Door Repair!

I believe this is the same company that scammed my 91 y/o mother by severely overcharging for a new garage door opener, springs, and cables. ($3175). They seem to be changing the name of their company frequently so they can't be traced. I've seen Local Garage Doors & Gates, Local Garage Door Repair, Queen Garage Doors & Gates. All with multiple phone numbers that all seem to go to the same unhelpful office person. Beware when hiring a garage door company. Make sure theres a legitimate address for the business (google map it to confirm it is a real address) and ask to see their license. And compare prices. Sounds so simple, but when you're in a pinch or semi-crisis with a broken garage door, sometimes it's easy to forget. Worst of all, the guy didn't even replace the parts he charged for!! Absolute SCAMMERS!!

Be AWARE of the scammers!  This company is very unprofessional and they are known as price gouging practices.  One of my garage door spring broke and I usually check the price prior the job but since it was an emergency, I did not.  Replacing the both springs are less than $150 but they charged $950 for the parts and $189 labor.  Also, Isaac did not assembled back the parts correctly and caused garage door not to close properly. I had to push the opener several times in order to close.  I called the company back and Daniel, showed up.  He analyzed that need to replace motor mother board which cost $400 and yet he offered to replace motor for $500.  What a rip off and dishonest because I already checked the price prior to repairman arrival.  I called the garage motor manufactory company and was given the local repair company.  I called them it only costed $60 just to adjust the door.  All he had to do is to adjust left side drum and reset the cables.  That's it!  Ever since, the door closes so smoothly and working perfectly!

This is a mobile service that won't give out their address. The reason.... They are crooks. Don't use them. They came to reprogram our commercial garage door opener. They wanted to charge the 6 unit apt. $69 for service call and $49.00 for each remote. When they found out, we didn't want to pay $300 for 6 remotes to have access number changed. They changed the mother board in the motor but when they left quickly - none of the remotes worked with the number they gave us. They made sure we paid in cash. Alex was one of the rudest, condescending service person I've ever met. I'm not even sure if they gave us the code for the garage door openers. They are hit and run. You call the number and its a mobile number without a address. Horrible, buyer beware! Don't use this company.

This was the worst garage door company I have ever used! The office staff was completely unprofessional and rude. They are double the cost of most companies. If it was my only option I would have never paid $667.00 for overhead springs. They do not ha e workers compensation either like they stated because my tech was Mark would not provide last name and the company ia registered to Danny Atar with zero works and no workers compensation. Wish I would of had that info beforehand!

My experience with this company was not the best. Spent quite a bit of money on a new Garage Door opener and expected it to work fine when the tech left my property. About 2 days later, the whole garage door unit came out of the wall and was making horrible sounds. This good have been a total disaster and someone could have gotten seriously hurt or the cars damaged. I called them immediately and they did send someone out the next day. I asked them to send me a new tech because I did not have much confidence in the original tech. Long story short, they sent the original tech out and he repaired his mistakes. He appologized up and down. So far the garage door looks ok but I have to admit, I am nervous about his work. DO NOT Call this company I thought I was calling a reputable company but read the other reviews and you will see. Never again !!!

A total rip-off. They came to my house today and were 40 minutes late arriving. They gave me no estimate for the work, then at the end, gave me a hugely ridiculous bill. They wanted almost $900 for changing a key pad, giving me a cheap plastic keypad in exchange for the one that wasn't working. They charged me $179 for labor, then charged me an additional $149 for "programming". They reduced the bill to $500 after I complained, but they made me give them the 2 remotes back, after they were already programmed to open my gates! Do not use this company.
