It's 4pm on a Friday. I press the garage door opener switch and the door bracket that connects the opener to door is torn off and broken. I could replace it if I had one. Amazon says it will be a week. Could I possibly get a part nearby? Home stores don't carry this. Most GDO service places don't sell parts or even have a storefront. But Aloha Overhead door does. I don't even call, I just head straight over. They are open. Megan is there. They had the part, under $10. Shop local, people! They have remotes and lots of other parts too. Off 175th, all the way to the back of the complex. Thank you! Update: 2 years later, I needed the moving carriage for my Genie screw-drive opener. Of course, they had it along with the recommended grease (for less than Amazon) so I could complete my project the same day *and* pick up eggs at Fred Meyer on the way home. :-)

If I could give more than 5 stars I most definitely would. Last night I hear a very loud bang and our spring broke on our door. I called at 8 am and talked to them. I called a couple more businesses and called them back about 15 min later. The lady who answered was so pleasant and helpful. No bull. Gave me a good quote over the phone and assured it wouldn't be more or they would let me know first and I could decide. The repair man called maybe less than 10 min later and said he could be there in 5 min. He came out fixed it and was done very shortly after. All in all, less than an hour from calling to set up someone to come out and it being fixed. Now our doors are old and one was cracked on the top panel and we fixed that years ago by adding a couple support rods. He recommended maybe just adding one more to the top for a little extra support. He said we could just add one later if we wanted but it was fine. He just went ahead and added that himself no extra charge! He gave me honest information when I asked about how much it might cost for new doors. Also gave me great information if we might need to replace the garage opener and what to get. He was just honest and helpful and not trying to upsell or add more services. It's so refreshing to work with an honest and helpful company. Amazing amazing service from start to finish. Quick, efficient and reasonably priced. Thank you so much. Already texted the neighbor who to call if they ever need help with a door! You won't be disappointed!

Quoted a very reasonable price for replacing three openers. Technician arrived on time and was both friendly, knowledgeable, and had lots of good suggestions. He even helped my wife set up the remote in her car. The replacement of all three openers only took about three hours. I was also pleasantly surprised when they didn't recommend the most expensive opener on the market. Definitely a five star operation.

These guys were busy with their schedule. So I had to wait 1.5 weeks out for a service call. I was "scheduled" for an appointment between 2-4pm. Nobody showed, I called the offfice, they in turn called the service technician. The service technician then called me and said that I was not "scheduled". I would not recommend this company! If I was not "scheduled" why was I given a date and time frame for when they are suppose to show up???

Wife failed to stop where she should have and ended up 7' into the garage. Called Aloha Door, their mechanic arrived in less than an hour and he had the door secure in the tracks in about another hour. This is the gold standard of customer service. I couldn't be more pleased.

Once again, I had a garage door emergency (Isn't every garage door issue an emergency!?!) And once again, Aloha Overhead Door did not disappoint. 2 hours before my appointment, I found out that my husband was being released from the hospital after breaking both hips. I had to get the garage door open as he could certainly not maneuver 2 flights of steps! I frantically called Megan and within minutes Clint called and said he would be there in 10 minutes! He came, replaced the spring, showed me how to manually open and close and even showed me a secret little way to double lock the door and helped me order a new opener. I've just never had service like that. When I called to thank them, Megan simply said "our customers are like our family and that's just how you treat family.". I for one, love this family!

I had a garage door issue at my house and Clint explained to me how to troubleshoot the problem when I went to pickup a wall switch. Clint explained that the issue was probably not the switch but an open circuit in the wiring. He talked me out of buying the switch and I was able to find the problem. Thanks Clint! I bought a couple of remotes while I was there. Megan had them all set up for programming. Thanks Megan. You guys earned a lifetime customer.

These folks were great to work with. Clint came by and talked to us about our options and prices and gave us the info we needed to make a decision. The installer was prompt, thorough and professional. A week aftere the install, when we asked for one minor adjustment in spring tension, Clint was there in about an hour to do the work. Clint was awesome! I originally scheduled a replacement opener installation. Clint was able to fix the old one and helped me reprogram all of our openers too. When I contacted this Company to request a bid/estimate for replacing our garage door, the woman did not at all seem interested in obtaining our business- she said they couldn't get anyone out to the house before next Wednesday (which is understandable), but worst of all, said that they "charge" for giving bids if not selected-- when I offered to email photos of the door as I had w/ other vendor to get ball park range-- she said they don't work that way. Wow, the arrogance. Guess that's what happens when a good local company gets purchased by larger out of state firm and doesn't need to rely up customer service anymore. too bad. Found them in the phone book in 1993. The repair man worked quickly, quietly no up selling. So I called a second time in 2000 and had the same experience. I would highly recommend. I do not recall the cost yet I would have remembered if the amount was out of line. Services Rendered: Replaced broken garage door spring + tune up on two different homes.
