Yelp5Steve came about ten years ago to replace a broken spring. I texted him when it broke again, he was able to come out quickly again and replace them at a reasonable cost. He also provided advice and did some other minor maintenance free of charge. Will absolutely continue to work with him.

Yelp1Had new garage doors and openers installed last year. Started getting an error message and contacted them. No return call. Then door started making a bad noise. Contacted again said he was gone for the holidays and would come check it when he returned. Keep trying to get a call back and repair with no luck. Very frustrated with door sounding terrible. Update - multiple calls with no return phone call. Finally talked to Steve the owner who hung up on me because of my review. Do NOT use this vendor! Contacted another company who I am now having to pay to fix the installation that was wrong.

Yelp5Heritage Garage Doors NW did a great job installing new springs for our garage doors. I had a great experience with Heritage Garage Doors NW from the initial phone call scheduling, the same day service, and a confirmation call when he was on the way. Steve was very good. He was very efficient and also very thorough in explaining what they were doing to fix this repeat problem. On a side note, I own a small business and know how hard it is these days to find great customer service. I think Steve owns the company he was so passionate about the work he was doing. I really appreciate the great professional service and I will definitely recommend your company to everyone. BTW.... Our garage door has never closed so nice. After Heritage Garage Doors NW installed the new springs Steve oiled up the rollers and adjusted the door to lower to the ground and stop more gently when it hits the ground. It used to completely squeeze the rubber gasket very hard and I'm sure that probably stressed the old springs a bit and may have added to our spring breaking problems in the past. Bottom line it makes a difference calling a company that knows what they are doing. Call Heritage Garage Doors NW for sure!

Yelp5I'm very pleased with Steve's work! Our garage door springs were broken & it stopped opening. Friday night! I was stressing out thinking there was NO BUSINESSES open during the weekends. I called Heritage when I found the information off of here. I left a voicemail with Steve & he called me back within the hour & he was very professional & very understanding to the "urgent" need to get this fixed. We park are cars in the garage & it's not fun getting in and out of the car to manually open the garage door specially in the freezing rain & wind. Steve showed up on time! Was able to explain our garage door to us & gave us some pointers on how to maintain the door......which my husband was very happy to get a better understanding on the maintenance. He fixed our door within 45mins! I would highly recommend Steve! My husband & I appreciate the work he did! We definitely will keep his info and recommended him to friends, family, & Neighbors! (Attached picture is the new springs he installed)

Angi5Seems so expensive (over $500), but absolutely essential to even open the door. Came to Anderson Island the same day, which is high priority. Services Rendered: Repair broken spring.

Yelp5Our garage door unexpectedly broke down on a Saturday afternoon. After unable to get a hold of our typical door repair company(closed for the weekend). I got a hold of Steve who was able to fit us in on the very same day. Luckily for us his appointment before ours cancelled and he was able to arrive earlier. He replaced a busted torsion spring, old cables and worn out bearings. He did the job in a timely and professional manner. Now we have a quieter and functioning garage door once again.

Yelp1Steve's install of a new garage door was a nightmare. The top panel warped right away and the door would only close if I helped it manually. Then Steve failed to show for a meeting with me and the contractor that subbed it out to find a congenial remedy. Then Steve ignored every phone call and text from the contractor, who, in the meantime, added a supporting piece of wood to stabilize. Finally I called Steve, after my contractor notified his insurance company, and he was rude, dismissive, claimed "your contractor owns that door now" and hung up the phone. Worst contractor of all time! The door is now fixed as my contractor felt so bad she ordered a new panel and had a guy come out. This guy noted that there should have been this bracing edge piece to prevent warping but good ol' Steve failed to install it. There was also another issue that required repair. Don't even consider this contractor. My real rating is zero *.

Yelp5Steve was able to fix my garage springs. He contacted me by phone and kept in contact with me as he ran I to traffic and informed me he might be late. Courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. Good company

Yelp5First time to hire Heritage Garage door to repair my door that would not close all the way. He was on time, very courteous, repaired the problem, and was reasonably priced. I would recommend and use this Company again.

Yelp1Very unhappy with the results from Steve. He has been avoiding our calls since installing the garage door. He was supposed to provide a lock for the inside and has yet to do so. He has not returned any voice mails or text messages. When I finally got ahold of him, I asked him why he had been avoiding me and he said go buy a lock at home depot and hung up.

Yelp5Called Steve and he came out a couple of hours later. He had to replace bearings (which meant a trip to somewhere in Kent that he did NOT charge me for!) and a big spring, plus he tuned the whole thing up by making some adjustments. He explained the whole repair, plus showed me some other issues with the door and how the mechanism was originally installed, and never once made me feel like a dumb girl! The pricing was very fair and ended up being less than I expected. I would recommend Heritage Garage Doors NW to anyone in the area!

Angi5Contacted Heritage Garage Doors Northwest in the morning to replace a broken torsion spring. Steve was out by 2PM that afternoon and completed the job in less than 30 minutes. The only reason for the B for Quality is that after he left I noticed the arm that lifts the garage door was damaged and missing a couple of bolts - nothing that was caused by him. It seems a quick inspection of my door would have found that and I'd have had him fix it, as well. Regardless, the price was great, he was friendly and quick. I would definitely recommend Heritage again. Services Rendered: Replaced a broken torsion spring on my garage door
