Google5Adam did a great job of resurrecting my 45 year old garage door opener and gave me excellent advice about the best replacement opener to replace this relic in the future. He also replaced the spring which can still be used with a new opener. DJV....1/22/2023

Google1Called and asked them to come take a look at a situation i was having with one of my doors that they installed. I have a double garage door. Technician came out when i was at work. Technician removed brackets from my door installed new ones without prior approval then removed both of my garage door openers from my door and took pins. Nothing wrong with openers at all. Now I received a bill for $500. I bought both doors through home depot and they had hung right do initial installation. If i would have known they were going to make everything worse and charge me this crazy amount i would have never called them now I can't use either door and i am unable to lift door manually due to impairment and to top off they left a quote for new openers and installation only that cost what i paid to have everything including new doors through home depot that were installed originally. Very disappointed!

Google1Wanted to share my experience with Hung Right Doors. I called them in early November 2023 I wanted a bid to install 3 garage doors size 7'x9'. They quoted me $1500.00 per door installed once the openings met there satisfaction, I was surprised the framing of the opening was not part of there scope of work, but I move ahead. I then called there representative multiple times, (I will not name her) but her title was estimator and customer service to ask questions regarding how to frame the openings as I was never given any written instructions, but I never heard back. So I moved on for a different company, I called Home Depot as they had the exact same door (Cloplay) for sale, Home Depot quoted me $1100 per door installed so I ordered 3 doors from them, I was happy I was going to save money around $1500. But here is where it gets curious, nobody ever called me to inspect the openings after I placed my order, so I finally called Home Depot and they informed me Hung Right Doors was there installer I was curious why Hung Right Doors was going to charge me significantly more per door than Home Depot the only thing that made sense was Hung Right Doors was taking advantage of me, you'd think buying 3 doors would give you a discount but no. Finally I chased down Hung Right Doors as they never did call they finally sent different customer service person to meet me on site and he gave me a better explanation on the scope of work to mount the frame & springs but yet again nothing in writing it was all verbal and there was quite a lot of detail in what they wanted done. I did the work how it was explained to me and ask for a re-inspection, the customer service representative from Hung Right Door came out for a re-inspection, he said I needed a couple of minor modification I said I could get it done, it would take me under 1 hour to do what he wanted but please just order the doors. The next day I receive an email saying my order was on hold until further notice and I was sent pictures of some light fixtures that needed relocating which was nothing that we even discussed on any inspection and I was further informed that any further inspections would cost me $99. I started to feel Hung Right Doors was giving me payback for not buying the doors from them. They also told me I could not actually order any doors from Home Depot or Cloplay the manufacturer unless Hung Right Doors signed off on the garage openings. Once ordered the doors were 6-8 weeks for delivery. Furthermore the Manager of Hung Right Doors Olympia voiced his displeasure toward me by my decision to buy the doors thru Home Depot and not his company even though there was significant savings for me of over $1000 by buying thru Home Depot. I decided I had enough dealings with Hung Right Door and the unprofessionalism so I canceled my order. Home Depot then sold me 3 doors that do not need a 3rd party installation I'm having them delivered this week. I will install them myself, Disappointed in Hung Right Doors is an understatement.

Google5I have to admit I have never before written a review for anything; but this time I felt compelled to do so. I was treated so nicely from everyone I dealt with at Hung Right Doors! They were very helpful, courteous and prompt with returning phone calls. Then when it was time for the install, I could not have been treated nicer than I was by "Matt"! He was so confident, self-assured and made me feel I was in good hands; and I was! He did an excellent job and I could not be happier with my garage door!! I think Hung Right Doors is very lucky to have Matt; and I am very happy that I called them!! I would recommend Hung Right Doors to anyone and everyone!

Google5I wasn't sure if my garage door would need to be replaced or could be repaired, Chris came out and talked me through some temporary repairs he could make that would keep the door working for another year or more and also gave me some quotes on door replacement. He also made a small repair while he was out giving me the quotes which I appreciated. About 3 months later I decided to go ahead with the temporary repairs that we had discussed, I called and the woman who I talked to said she would send Chris since he was already familiar with the situation (love that). Chris did an awesome job on the repairs and was friendly and informative. The invoice ended up being exactly what he quoted three months ago too. What a great experience. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Angi5The repairman was very professional. He called ahead to tell us when he was on his way and arrived right on time. He took one look at the door and could tell it was recently painted and immediately diagnosed the issue. The paint from the door was adhering to the door trim. He showed us the problem areas and instructed us how to tenor thee paint properly. He was friendly and courteous at all times. Since he didn't perform any labor he even waived the $140 service charge! Services Rendered: Our garage door suddenly wouldn't open when you first pressed TBE button. It would shake violently like out was going to break and then finally open.

Angi5I callled in the morning the receptionist was SUPER nice. They were out that afternoon and replaced the springs. She did explain service call was $119 and each spring would be $70 each, so I was informed. The service person also did service the door opener, which was about 2 years old and probably didn't need it but it doesn't hurt any I suppose. I'm not sure if the service call price is high or not, I didn't call other businesses to check as it is a rental and I wanted the work done as soon as possible for the tenants. Services Rendered: Repaced two springs, serviced opener, checked safety features

Angi5was great...called them out to do an estimate they came out, did one in about 15 minutes and set up for them to come out and do the install about a week later. both times they came within their window they gave me. took awhile to get them installed but scott, the installer, warned me about that when he got to the site and looked at it. did a great job installing both openers, programmed them, showed me how to do the programming myself, set up the opener buttons and keypad, and even though it took probably an hour or more longer than anticipated the only charged me the original estimate. Services Rendered: installed 2 garage door openers...had to cut off garage door track and add a flipper kit to make enough room for the openers to work due to extreme low clearance
