Yelp1RUN RUN RUN!!! They told my husband that they were replacing all the rollers. He was working and gave the criminal a check. We were charged 325.00 for 10 minutes of work and only one was put back on the track. Was told that the service call was 29.00. Nothing was replaced and bill was 380.00 i would love a job that I could earn 325.00 for 10 minutes of labor. This company is a disgrace!!!

Google5One word - transparency. They have serviced garage doors and two properties I own. The first property had a light weight door that was loud and was starting to not lift. They patiently walked me through the issues, the options, and pricing. The subsequent spring and new rollers they installed work perfectly. My other property was a flip and the spring they installed was faulty. The company the home warranty sent out couldn't figure out the problem. They quickly diagnosed the issue and advised I'd need a spring that was appropriate for the door. They made a number of adjustments to ensure it lifted correctly and cleaned up the lose wiring hanging around from the initial install. I will hire this team again when I need them

Google5This company was very fiendly, very timely, and courteous. They were able to replace my garage door the same day that I called and did a wonderful job installing a new garage door that works much better than the one we had before. The work was professionally and expertly done, and I am very happy to have found a freiendly and reliable garage door company!

Google1DON'T DO IT. I called them on a Thursday because my springs were broken. Gentleman called me back at 7:30 PM, very nice and I explained the issues and that I had a 2 car garage door. blah, blah blah. No problem sir we will be out there tomorrow and the cost will be 375 dollars. Well when the tech showed up he said the guy maid a mistake and only quoted me for a single door. THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE because I measured the door while I was on the phone with him. I even asked him questions about my 2 CAR GARAGE. Tech shows up says sorry it's now $600 dollars and by the way you need new pulleys. I was like OK how much, He sates $150 dollars. Now the bill is up to $750. I do a quick search and find out I can get the same parts on Amazon for $15 dollars. REALLY.. I don't mid paying for Labor and service but I hate getting ripped off. I expected to pay $375 maybe they find something and it goes to $450 but now I am in for $750. I called customer service, she said she talked to the tech but little did she know I was standing next to the guy and he never answered the phone. It was all a LIE I had a issue with the door not closing correctly. A new guy came out the next day and GUESS WHAT. He wanted to change my wheels now. For $250 dollars. What a joke, I can almost buy a new door at this point.I said please leave. WE ARE DONE. They are a total bait and switch operation. MOVE ON.

Yelp2I was going to add my poor review for okay service and ABUSIVE pricing to the list below but there enough of those so that any one reading this list would know to go elsewhere. I will next time. Charge too much and do NOT stand behind their work

Yelp1The merchant completed repairs that were not authorized. I was overcharged for parts and labor that I did not need. I contacted GarageDPro on 7/15/19 and asked for a quote on a garage door spring repair. The person on the phone told me it would be $125.00. I agreed to have the work done and it was scheduled for the next day. When the service person showed up to my house, I was not at home at the time, but my sister was there. My sister called me to tell me that someone was at my house to fix my garage door and I told her I was aware and to allow them to do the repair. I arrived home as the tech was completing the job and he stated that the bill was $650.00. In complete shock , I questioned why it was so much and told him about the quote that I got on the phone. The rep stated that he replaced the spring, cables and drums. He then tried to justify the extra parts by saying that the cables were rusty and the drums needed replaced because of routine maintenance. I asked to see the parts that were removed and I did not see any rust on the cables at all. The drums did not look to be in bad shape either. I immediately began to state my dissatisfaction and told him that I felt like i was being ripped off and taken advantage of. The rep told me that the repair was done and I needed to pay the $650.00. Reluctantly, I gave him my credit card information and told him that I would have the parts looked at to verify they were still good. The response was " You do what you gotta do" Two days later on 7/18/19 I tried reaching out to the company and was told that someone would call me back. No one did. I called again on 7/19/19 and was told the same thing. Again, no one called back. On the 4th day, a girl from their office called. I stated my concern and told her I wanted them to come back and put my old parts back on and take the new ones back. She relayed the information and called me back to tell me that they would offer a 10% discount. Of course that was not an acceptable resolution. The representative then told me she would look further into it and have someone call me. not surprising, no one called me back. At this point I was not making any progress with the merchant directly, so I called my credit card company to dispute the charge. I currently have an open case and am waiting on resolution. Their response to my credit card company was that "I arrived at his location and provided him with the price and scope of the service prior to starting. He agreed to our terms of service and authorized the work". I was not even home when he got there! He then stated, "I completed the job to the customers satisfaction and he signed the attached receipt and paid without any issues". Well, I can tell you as I stated before, I was in shock that a quote of $125.00 turned into a $650.00 bill. I was arguing with the tech telling him I felt taken advantage of and I felt like I was being ripped off. So, yes, there was an issue. To this day, no one has tried to contact me and my credit card company is being told lies. I still have the parts and anyone can see that they are in perfect condition. I honestly feel 100% ripped off!

Yelp1I will say that they came after hours and were prompt. That is the only positive thing I have to say about my experience with this company. They arrived in a vehicle that was not marked with their company name or logo. The receipt I received differed from the business card, the receipt says garage and sliding doors service and the business cars said Garage Door pro. I was told that two springs needed to be replaced and they were top-quality. They also told me that the cables needed to be replaced right away or it was going to be very dangerous. The entire time I felt pressured and Uncomfortable with the technicians that were here and the next day I had another company come out to inspect. The springs that were placed were standard (not top quality)and not appropriate for the climate of Florida. The cables do not need to be replaced. Overall I felt that the technicians were just trying to raise the price of the visit and trying to sell me things that I did not need, their presentation was unprofessional and I would not recommend this company. Also, They haggled the price of the springs they replaced. When they told me the cables need to be replaced, they wanted to charge an additional $275. I told him (Elian) I don't have the money and I'll have to wait on that. He said we take credit cards and I explained I don't use credit cards. Then he said well I can follow you to the bank. Very unprofessional and creepy.

Yelp1THE WORST!!!! Be ware these people are horrible. I decided to try this company because they appeared to have good reviews. HUGE MISTAKE!!! They installed a new garage door opener for me. Now it won't go all the way up or down. I called them and the fogging out of this lady's mouth is there will be service charge for them to come out. Ok I say so she scheduled me for 9-11 the next day. At 3 pm I call and ask what's going on. "Let me call the tech and call you back in 30 minutes. 2 hours later I called and she says sorry what time will you be home tomorrow? I tell her that I took off work and needed someone today. She says again "what time will you be home tomorrow ". I tell her that I need someone today. She says ok someone will be there before 9. Of course no one shows or calls. I call lack the next morning (today) and she says let me call you back in 5 minutes. 3 hours later NOTHING. She won't answer my calls now.

Yelp1Called because of the 19$ service charge. He came in, told me to press the button to the garage and immediately said it's a gear. 550$ for a new opener with warranty. I asked if the gear could be replaced and he said yes, for $275. My husband, who is an engine mechanic came over and I asked if it was a job he thinks he can do because I could buy a replacement unit for 150$, saving 400$. My husband said yes and the guy says, "If you could do it why did you call me out?" I said my husband can fix things but he cannot diagnose issues. So he days his "diagnostic" (me pressing the garage door button after 2 minutes of him walking in) was 59$ on top of the 19$ service call. I told him that 19$ was very misleading. Paid him and will never ever call this place AGAIN. Call a more reputable place and save yourself.

Google5I had a very pleasant experience today (2/23/19) with Charles, the service person of Garage Pro. He was very knowledgeable and identified the problem I was facing after my first sentence. I was amazed and he guided me exactly through the steps to correct my garage door malfunction. I was really ecstatic. It was a minor issue (sensor alignment) which was causing the door not to close with activation of the remote. Thank you again. I would recommend Garage Pro to anybody because you get this wonderful service after they sold and installed your product.

Yelp1If I could put a negative 5 I would. PLEASE DO NOT HIRE THESE FOLKS. I wished we would have researched how much a garage door cost. All we wanted was 2 remotes to be programmed and the guy came out and said sorry the system we had was too old. He said good news is he had one in his piece of crap van. (NOTE: should have been a red flag). So, called hubby and figured we might be spending like 200.00-250.00. Turns out....it cost 520.00 and they state we got a 3 yr warranty. (WHICH WAS HAND WRITTEN) OH by the way...I had to buy the extra remote and sensors were not included. Called about door not shutting and technician was rude and said I needed to re-align sensors. UM....that's why we got the warranty. Later I researched our unit. It costs 128.00 from LOWES and comes with 2 new sensors. I then called "SEAN" who sounded like OMAR...and he was like well, does the opener work? I'm like UM....it doesn't close & we have to manually shut it and go out the front door. So, he said he would send someone out yesterday after fighting with him and said we did purchase the warranty. He said if the actual opener works...than we are good. I said no it doesn't and it's because of the sensors that were NOT installed. So, he said just this one time he would send someone out. SO, Omar called and argued with me about how I agreed on the price and got the warranty and that it's not covered. OMG....I can't believe how unprofessional he was. So, he said "MAYBE he would come out between 6 or 7 last night. Of course....no show. So, hope they or HE have can sleep well at night knowing they are RIPPING people off. EVERYONE is aware of these scammers. DO NOT HIRE THESE FOLKS! PLEASE PASS THIS INFORMATION TO YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

Google5This company was able to get someone out to fix my garage door opener system within just a few hours and gave me the best possible price. Adi figured out what the issue was right away and fixed it within an hour. They also stand behind their work with a 3-year warranty.

Yelp1I called this company to come out and see why my garage door was not functioning properly after seeing that they had good reviews. My garage door was not opening all the way, and kept getting stuck at a certain point in the tracks. The technician that came out charged me $40, and was there for a total of 10 minutes. All he did was ask me to open and close the door only to see what i initially reported which is that the door didn't open completely. After seeing that, the technician proceeded to tell me that the motor for the garage door was dying, and told me that i needed a whole new unit (garage door, rails, etc.). I decided to call the manufacturer to see if i can just replace the motor, and they were kind enough to troubleshoot the problem for free. After 10 minutes on the phone with them, we figured out that the garage door was simply off balance, and was giving the motor too much weight to pull. I am writing this not because i had to pay, but rather the type of service Horizon/Garage D Pro provides. Their whole model is built not on helping the customer find solutions to simple problems, but rather go for the BIG ticket which is replacing your whole garage unit in its entirety. I called back to complain, and the representative on the phone hung up on me while i was explaining the issue. DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH YOUR GARAGE. THEY DO NOT INTEND TO MAKE COST EFFECTIVE REPAIRS. THEY ONLY INTEND TO UP SELL YOU ON BIG TICKET ITEMS!!!!! CALL THE MANUFACTURER FIRST AND GO FROM THERE SAVE YOURSELF THE MONEY!!!!

Yelp1Awful...Awful...Awful. Way overpriced. Rude when I called about a problem, they called me "confused" rather than addressing the issue.

Yelp1Most unknowable and unprofessional service i have ever experienced tech came out to my house in coral springs in a unmarked mini van with workout shorts and tshirt nothing had the company name on it tools looked like they were from harbour freight i had one broken spring that needed to be replaced tech yasir or some strange name like that talked me in to replacing both for 510 dollars i said that was way to high so we come to an agreement after he calls his big boss according to the tech to do the job for 350 cash tech looked like he had no idea what he was doing. So 2 hours later the springs are installed and we try out the door it closes and opens so i pay this theft and ive never seen anyone leave so fast so that drew a red flag so deside to go out and try the garage door again and it doesnt work so this is about 5 minutes after the tech leaves i call him and said my door isnt working and his response to me was hes at dinner he will come back when hes done. An hour goes by and here he is touching buttons looking lost calling his BIG BOSS speaking some foreign language i couldn't understand and then says its got to be your motor so i say if i had a bad motor shouldn't that have been told to me before you started anything and i also said if my motor is bad why is it running?? Clearly he had no answer and then i said ok you installed the springs ill pay for them and your labor but i need some money back because you didnt fix my door. Then he begins to get defensive sauing i did my job i changed the springs and i said your job was to fix my door that was the agreement so then i ask to speak to the big boss who is a complete idiot! Getting defensive with me saying if you buy a new car and you get a flat tire its my fault do you wanna talk about your dishwasher now?? While he was making every excuse in the book to try and justify why he was right and i have no idea what im talking about yasir the tech peals out with my money. This company is a scam they will not complete there job and rob you blind!!! Right before the holidays i could have really used that money but instead im out 350 and my garage door doesnt work thats what you call a 5 star company i call it a joke and i will continue to find a rate this company terribly every chance i get on every website to hopefully prevent another innocent consumer from getting ROBBED!!
