BBB1What a frustrating experience! First of all I had a scheduled appointment on Monday and took off work in the afternoon to meet technician for a broken spring but had to reschedule for Tuesday am because technician did not have part needed at that time. Spoke with technician Tuesday am upon arrival and asked to also replace the 2 multi control wall LiftMaster units as plastic cover on each had been cracked but units were still functional. Cost to replace each unit "wall station" $139, or $278 for both. When I came home following spring repair/replacement and replacement of the 2 "wall stations" I literally found what I can ONLY describe as 2 doorbell style garage door openers on the wall where the multi function control panels had been (lock/light/open and close feature). Having paid invoice I contacted OGD Wednesday am expressing my frustration and was told that technician did not have the exact replacement so installed "door bell" style. Had technician called and told me he did not have a proper replacement to replace existing control units and would DOWNGRADE my existing control units I would have never authorized the replacement. Now OGD had said they will schedule another appointment to change out to control units that match what was existing and I will have to take off yet more time from work.

Google5Our technician was awesome. It was a great experience. He was super fast. We love our new door. The only negative was we did have trouble with scheduling but in fairness, it did snow I gave them a five investigation.

Google1They originally came out to service broken spring and upselled me to replace casters which was fine. Technician was very professional. However, one of the panels shifted and created a gap so you could see outside. This occurred during the spring replacement when we were helping tech lift the door to get a wire lose. I called them two weeks later to have them come back out and look at how to fix the gap between the panel. As when it would go up and down the door would pop and creak unlike it ever had before they serviced the spring. Again, technician was polite, however told me the company said this wasn't warranty issue and that I needed to call customer service. If you need basic service , I recommend someone else. I have lost their number and never will refer them

Google5Great company. Garage door opener went out. Called OGD in afternoon and a they sent a technician, Rene, out by 4:30 that same day. Rene explained to my husband our options. Fixing old opener or replacing. We opted to replace with updated opener. He had all materials needed for the job. From start to finish was professional and fast. Pricing seemed competitive. We are very pleased. We would recommend this company.

Google5The service was quick and professional and very well done. They helped me set up my new garage door opener with app and made sure it was all working before they left. I would definitely recommend using OGD for any of your garage door needs.

Google3Our tech was really good but $50 service call charge went to $150 after 10 minutes of work on garage door opener. I thought they were going to have to replace it but no. So I paid $150 for 10 minutes with no parts purchased!

BBB1I needed a broken spring replaced cause my car was stuck in the garage. The tech showed up and began wanting me to pick a PLAN. The plan he recommended was $779.00 which included 2 springs, only needed 1 and new rollers and a 5 year warranty. He would not start work without me signing for it. Once I signed, he had me. I asked him about the 5 year warranty as to what happens if a spring breaks. He said, we replace it. I asked how much it would cost me, he said that I would only pay a $50 dollar trip fee, which is ridiculous. I was ok with that until later I realized that he didnt tell me that it was a 5 year parts and 30 days labor only. . The only way that I could see his plan was on his cell phone which as I tried to read he held the phone and his fingers were going from right to left on the phone because the words didnt fit in the screen. Not a very professional way of reading a contract. When I realized my mistake on signing this contract of $779 for 2 springs which are about $50 dollars a piece and the rollers are about $25 dollars after talking to another door company, they said that the whole job should not have been but about $300.00. I called customer service and talked to a very rude and unprofessional woman who told me that I signed for it, sorry!!! And then she hung up on me. She said that the tech made a mistake by not telling me about the 30 day labor only warranty. She also refused to send me a detailed statement showing parts and labor charges and I wonder why!! She told me that a supervisor would call me and that never happened. Called again today and a supervisor was supposed to call but never did. Once they have your money, they are done with you. The tech did get a 5 before he left my driveway, but gets a zero after I realized I was scammed. I want half my money back. It is only fair because you were so high on price and I wasnt told right on the warranty. I would have told him to leave if the truth was told to me!

BBB1OGD sent a Tech that could not repair my opener but charged me a service fee. I have requested for a manager to call, however no return call. Extremely disappointed and will not use this company again.

BBB1Dont do it. They do not honor their appointment times you will be waiting all day just to get the run around and asked to reschedule multiple times. Even if you make the appointment a week In advance.
