If I could give more stars I would. My garage door stopped working. I called Door Doctor around 10am and got a same day appointment from 1-4pm. Nate (the technician) arrived a little after 1:00 and quickly fixed the problem. He truly saved my day. THANK YOU Nate and Door Doctor. It is not often that I write online reviews, but Door Doctor Services, Inc., definitely deserves one. I had fantastic experience working with them from start to finish! We initially went to Home Depot to get a nice storm door installed, put down a deposit and was told there would be no issues and they would send someone out to measure, etc. Long story short that wasn’t the case, there was always an excuse and issues why they wouldn’t be able to install the door after not being contacted for weeks thinking it was on order (Home Depot). I then looked into Door Doctors and the receptionist staff were amazing and had Mike out to my house the next day. We were able to get a new storm door and installed all within a week by Mike and at a great price! Excellent work and so professional, we were so pleased! Today our garage door spring broke and we couldn’t use our garage. In a panic, I called Door Doctor and Erica sent Chris right away and fixed all the issues perfectly! I will now forever be a lifetime customer and will highly recommend Door Doctors to everyone in need of the services they offer. Thank you for the amazing service!

The Door Doctor was the SECOND place I called. The first was the place that has the highest # of reviews online. If you pull up garage door repairs, you will see them with over 4000 reviews. They kept me on the phone for over 8 minutes asking all kinds of questions, then said they’d put me on the schedule as an emergency service call ($$$$) even though it was 8am, or they’d come tomorrow. Then they pretty much forced me to make an appointment before hanging up. Then I called the Door Doctor, The lady who answered the phone was very nice and efficient. She had me check if a spring was broken, which it was and then quoted me two prices that include included everything including the service call taxes and installation. I told her which one I would like and she said she could have someone out here between 12 and 3 and I was off the phone under three minutes. The service man arrived just a few minutes shy of noon. He once again reiterated my choices and the prices it was very upfront and not confusing at all. He said it would take him a half an hour but he was done in around 20 minutes. It was fast And efficient. The service man was very nice and I found this company to be super easy to work with. I would recommend them as a good trustworthy company to anyone.

One of my garage door springs broke, so I called Door Doctor for repair. They were very responsive to my request and came out the following day (my schedule prevented me from getting it serviced the same day). The technician, Randy, was professional, friendly and efficient. I used Door Doctor in June 2001. They were great then and were great today.

Door Doctor came out next day to replace my door opener (which was likely intentionally broken the day before by a company offering to do a "tune up"). The technician from Door Doctor was friendly, efficient, neat and cleaned up the garage like he had never been there. He lubricated all the joints in the door after he installed the opener. I highly recommend Door Doctor Services, Inc. I called around for estimates and not only was Door Doctor the best value for the money spent, they are also, by far, the friendliest, from the phone consultation up to completion of my project. Great customer service - they were able to repair our garage door same day. When their serviceman was running a little late, they gave a courtesy call to let us know, informing us up to 5 minutes when he arrived. Austin arrived and got right to work. Less than an hour later, our garage door was functional and operating smoothly. No frills. Just great service and I'm appreciative for it.

I have used DD at a previous residence and was happy with the services I received. So when my teenage daughter tried to use a garage door when we lost power the door became out of balance and wedged in the tracks when I happened to be away for work. I called DD to see what was available and a tech happened to be pretty close but just off the clock. The receptionist called the tech and he stayed on to stop by and check out our door. He had the door fixed and functioning in 15 minutes. Only a small service fee and my 'to-do' list was shortened before I returned home.

Owner of the vehicle was tailgating us on Milford Road on 8:55 pm on a Thursday...I mean like one vehicle length away. Further, we were going the speed limit and this driver (of the white Door Doctor van #171) yelled a bunch of colorful language at my family and I as we pulled into the Old Milford Farms subdivision. I guess, if you hire this company, and you trust them to go into your home, realize there may be some triggers that could set them off...emotionally. Cause dang, all we were doing was driving home from Charlies after a well cooked meal. Maybe...look at other more sane folks to work with in Milford.

First company I called gave me the same sales pitch that every big home repair service company gives lately. They pull out their tablets and explain how if you don't replace all of these components that are completely unrelated to your issue that there's simply no way that they could give you a warranty on their service because it's really just a band-aid and not a thorough repair. You might as well pay just a little more and replace the whole system, right? Those guys quoted me $1004 for a repair with no warranty and another $1000 to replace the whole door despite my existing door being perfectly fine. Jesse from Door Doctor came out and in the amount of time it took the big company to write me a quote, he had my repair done and done properly for MORE than 80% cheaper than the big company. He gave me lots of useful tips on how to (cheaply) maintain the hardware and keep my door looking new. Stand up against the crummy big name service companies and their stupid sales tablets! Call Door Doctor!

Contacted this establishment today. They had replaced my garage door 15 years ago, installed a new Chamberlain liftmaster unit with battery backup. Had a recent power outage over the weekend, battery was dead, so this morning I called them asking about a replacement battery. Woman on the phone was impolite, snotty and snippy, first thing she told me is that the cost of the service call was X dollars. I can certainly replace a battery myself after seeing the video online. She then told me she spoke to her boss and he said they have no batteries in stock and I should go to a discount battery chain to buy a battery. When I asked for what brand of battery I should buy, she said, whatever they had. Wow, won't every call them again, not helpful at all.

Garage door began getting louder and louder. Easy set up and appointment scheduling. Technician arrived on time. Inspected everything,found nothing wrong ,explained at times some units get louder. Was a bit surprised that he told me a wire needed to be sprayed with wd40 and he didn't just do it- 30 second job. Charged $65 for service call. Tech was friendly and professional.

I am very pleased with Door Doctor Services, especially the technician Adam. My door left almost two feet of a gap when I attempted to close. Adam arrived within the time frame. I was informed when he was in his way to my home. My garage is older and he did not turn me away; he said he would do what he could. He was able to fix my issue and for any future concerns he gave me a quote on a new door. They are reasonable and very reliable.

Early & Under Budget Broken garage door. Left them a message after hours and got a call back first thing in the morning. Appointment was made for the next day. Price quote on the spot, and was reasonable. Day of the appointment, email reminder, and text when technician was on the way. Tension line that pulls door up and down snapped due to corrosion. Door was stuck in place, due to lack of tension on the snapped side. Couldn't even manually close the door. We were about to leave town for several days. Left emergency message on Door Dr voice mail on Sunday evening. Got call back at 7.30 a.m. Technician arrived about 9 am, and the line was replaced (along with two additional unrelated problems the technician discovered) in less than an hour. Danny was personable, knowledgable and very helpful -- including pointing out some additional places for me to lube regularly that I hadn't been doing. Great job! I contacted Door Doctor about a garage door that had gone off its tracks. Also, haha, by car was trapped in that garage. The door was beyond the point of reliable repair, unfortunately. Door Doctor did offer to repair the door if I wished, though they recommended against it. Most importantly, they got my car out of the garage. They provided a pretty competitive quote for a replacement door. I ended up working with another company for that work, but I greatly appreciated their professionalism and practical advice as I called around for bids. Services Rendered: I had a garage door that had gone off its tracks and had a broken spring. My car was trapped in the garage. They provided an estimate for replacing the door and, more critically, got my car out of the garage.

The service went great. I called, and within a day or two had a visit for the estimate. We were able to schedule the service for the following week. The guys who came to do the service were prompt, thorough, and did a great job all the way through. Everyone involved was helpful, friendly, and professional. They answered all of my questions and even gave some advice to keep it working. Services Rendered: I had a total replacement of my old garage door and opener in a two-car garage. The provider replaced the door, hardware, weatherstripping, opener, and all mechanisms and electronics.
