If I could give this company zero stars I would. BE AWARE they false advertise that they provide a free service charge when they come out, all you have to mention is ad that service visits are free. However, they charged me $63 for the service call since I did not go with any service ranging from Bronze to Platinum. All I needed was one new spring for my garage door which was broken. They tried to charge me for the following packages $647 (Bronze), $901 (Silver), $1,600 (Gold) or $3,100 (Platinum). These packages except for the Platinum only were going to replace the springs, offer a warranty and inspect the garage door. The Platinum package was for replacing the springs, rotors, motor, keypad, etc. None of the packages offered replacing my garage doors. I contacted another company, and I was charged $200 to replace two springs for my garage door. Please get a second opinion because Metro Garage Door is unethical, deceitful and WILL rob you if you are not careful.

Jake did an excellent job. He was efficient and honest. Great personality too. They came out quickly and didn't do anymore than what was needed at a fair price. Would definitely recommend

Jake is awesome. Very polite, respectful and professional. He was very thorough in his explanations of repair options and was not in a big rush to finish the repair. A very nice experience. I highly recommend Jake and Metro Garage Doors.

If I could give them a zero I would. We paid them also 4k dollars to install two garage doors on a new construction home in Carrollton, GA in March 2023. Everything was going good until about 3-4 months of use. Both doors started having a hard thump at the end of the cycle when being opened. I reported it to Metro they sent a technician out. He was able to get one door to work a little bit better. However, one door he could not. He stated that it should get better over time. Well 3 months later and it has not gotten better. I called Metro again to get someone out to check the doors. I spoke with Ashley, she made me a same day appointment and stated that the technician would be at our house between 1-5pm. Well 5pm came and I even gave him until 6pm. No technician and he didn't call to let me know he couldn't come. I called Metro again the following Monday to make them aware of their technician's no show. Ashley rescheduled a new appointment for the next day 12-2pm. The technician did show up this time. He tried everything he could to fix the issue but he couldn't. He stated he had done everything possible but nothing worked. I asked him to call the office and speak with whomever was it charge to see what they were going to do to fix the doit's. Be it installing new doors or openers, just give us what we paid for. Which is properly working equipment. He also stated to my wife that the equipment that they installed was basically junk and not worth the money. My wife asked him if you guys know this why would you sell this to your customers. It's simple, make the money on the cheap stuff at first, then hit them with the better stuff after your warranty expires. This is poor everything. We spent around $15k with this company altogether on different trades. Never again. But they can rest assured this is not over. Small claims court here we come.

Had a technician come out to give a quote to repair the spring. Was quoted $900 dollars. Was charged a fee for them coming out. Did not use their service. Called and got a quote over the phone of a price from someone else at $260 dollars. Could not get a quote over the phone from Metro. They had to send a technician and charge the fee for coming out.

Both of our fireplaces don't work despite techs coming out and "fixing it". Several of our neighbors don't work either. We didn't even have wiring in one of ours. Our garage door completely fell off the hinges and we had to have someone else come fix the issue. I only gave two stars because I'm sure they were pressured by the builder to get it done quick and not fix the problems.

Great company, my son is building a home in Atlanta. Metro installed the garage , recently some of the supports failed and the door was unusable. They came out and found that the house required a heavier setup. They admitted fault and fixed everything free of charge. Now that's how you keep customers coming back. Great business.

Tony came out at the appointed time and installed a new garage door opener. Although he inadvertently removed the transformer for the home security system, he brought it back a few days later and the security company was able to reinstall and rewire it. Metro was very gracious to reimburse the cost to have it rewired. Overall, I am very satisfied with the product and services of this company!!

I recently had the pleasure of hiring Metro for a garage door repair, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with the level of service and expertise they provided. From start to finish, the experience was seamless and hassle-free. First and foremost, their customer service is top-notch. From the moment I called to schedule an appointment, their team was courteous, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. They promptly accommodated my schedule and ensured that a technician was dispatched to my home at a convenient time. The technician who arrived was not only punctual but also highly skilled. They assessed the issue with my garage door, explaining the problem in simple terms that I could understand. It was evident that they possessed knowledge of garage door mechanics and were equipped with the necessary tools and parts to handle the repair efficiently. What truly stood out to me was the transparency and honesty displayed by the technician. They provided a detailed breakdown of the repair process, including the cost of parts and labor, before beginning any work. This level of transparency is a rarity in the service industry and immediately put my mind at ease. I also want to commend Metro for explaining their pricing prior to sending out a tech so that I knew what to expect. Tony M. was my tech and he did a great job and was very professional. Despite the fact that I made things worse by trying to fix it myself he didn't hold it against me.

We just spent almost $4k on a new door. The technician spent all day working hard on the install. He did a great job. Fast forward a couple of months the door is not closing completely. I call the company and they want to charge for someone to come out if it is not the physical "door" that is the issue. I paid them to have a properly working door and it is currently not working properly. That is NOT good customer service.

If I could give this company zero stars I would. BE AWARE they charge $69 just to come out and what they DONT TELL you is that desnt include ANYTHING. They then charge ANOTHER $18 dollars Per FIFTEEN MINUTES just to poke around to determine what the issue is. What a horrible business practice. If I would have been told that I would have never had them come out. Then the guy tried to sell us an upgraded garage dooy system by telling us the others "were sold out due to COVID" and it took me 5 minutes to call another garage door company who quoted me over 100 cheaper. TThey basically robbed us for doing nothing and we had to pay $109 FOR NOTHING. In comparison the other company didnt charge us a dime to come out. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY/

Can't say enough good about this company. I had two other companies out to replace my old garage door openers. (One of them was even the original installer). I had a unique condition where the available ceiling space is smaller than a traditional installation would need. Both companies had no clue how to install them, they said there is no way to make the new openers work and suggested that I either buy their super expensive custom model or modify the structure of my house. Metro Garage was recommended by the manufacturer's customer service. I called them and their team listened to what I was trying to accomplish. I just had to give them a few dimensions and they provided an easy solution & then scheduled for installation. The installer (Brandon) was pleasant, knowledgeable and took the time to walk through operation, programming and warranty. I would definitely recommend this business over the others in this area.

Everything went well. He was prompt and checked out both garage doors. He even offered to change my garage light, but I didn't have one available. Both doors open a lot quieter now! Services Rendered: I purchased the Garage Door tune-up special. Both Garage doors received maintenance.

The store has a nice display of gas logs and garage doors on display. I purchased a set of gas logs. The installation crew did a great job. They went above and beyond to get the job done. Now I can sit back and enjoy my cozy and warm fireplace. Ask for Krissy the sales rep. She was very informative and helpful on all accounts.

This is long but worth the read. Service by the technician was great but the overall experience was awful. Never have I written or complained about a company, but I felt that I needed to share my experience. I called West Georgia Gate and Door and also Metro to get quotes to replace the spring on my garage door. Long story short, Metro said they could replace it for $250 and West Georgia door said $325. West Georgia could perform the task at 9am and Metro at 4pm. Easy decision right? Just hold off till the afternoon and let Metro complete the task as it would save me $75 dollars and it is a larger company so I figured I was good. The $250 quote Metro gave me actually turned out to be $318. After talking with multiple employees and finally the owner, Derek (who hopefully doesn't have much customer contact if they want to keep good customer service), they still would not hold up to their end and take ownership of the quote they gave me saying, "it was just a quote and we can't get exactly correct." Well, West Georgia did and I'm sure they have enough integrity to stand behind their word. If Metro would have asked all the proper questions as West Georgia Gate and Door did, their quote would have been correct. I understand that sometimes when they get to the site, there will be other items that need to be addressed that they didn't account for on the original quote. This wasn't the case, all I needed was a new spring. One last item on this rant that bothers me the most. When the technician called to see about the price with original lady who had given the quote, she got on the phone and proceeded to tell me, that I told her, that I had a "TORSION" spring. How could I possible tell her that I had a torsion spring, when I don't even know anything about garage doors except for the fact , that they do actually have a spring? She missed quoted by assuming and now she is trying to CYA by telling her boss that I said I had that spring. Bottom line, they should stand behind their word, do some proper training for their call center, and have a morals talk with the customer care representative who tried to take the blame off her back (for her mistake) and place it on me. I even asked if they recorded my call, and of course the line I called in on was not one of their recorded lines.
