Google5I had a small gripe with Action Garage's manager, their higher up employees seem to value upselling. That being said they're an overall very good company I used for a regular service in 2021 and an opener replacement in 2023. Both technicians were very nice and worked great. I'd recommend them to anyone asking for garage door work.

Google1Apparently they don't offer any warranty on parts they install. Also apparently they install cheap parts that are notorious for breaking, that I can't even get through other companies because they're such poor quality. Do not recommend.

Google1Had my garage for only 18 months before it completely broke. Called the company only to find out they have a 3 month warranty. I would definitely not use this place if you have options...

Yelp5If you need a new door or just maintenance, I wouldn't hesitate going with Aaction Overhead. They were the original installers of my garage door so when I needed to get the weatherstripping replaced, I turned to them. Couldn't be happier with my choice. Replaced the trim quickly and even tuned up my door at no extra charge--significantly reduced the noise when opening/closing. I don't remember the person's name but he was great. I really appreciated his honesty and that he didn't try to upsell me. My door was a bit loud and he gave me the option to change to ball-bearing rollers but he wanted to try a few (free) things first. Those ended up making a huge difference and by his own admission the rollers would have only offered marginal improvement so he suggested not to do it. This is the way to get repeat business and referrals!

Google5I have a "newer" residence (1-2 years old) with garage doors that were under warranty (another company). When the garage door opener started malfunctioning and the original company would not respond to service requests, I called Aaction overhead doors. I did have some initial problems getting them to return phone calls on "private service" - but after some persistence, I managed to get service scheduled. Aaction came out, took a look at the door and identified parts that were mismatched and not installed correctly on the door. They were unable to repair the door (they needed parts) but scheduled an additional service appointment. They came back at the scheduled date and repaired the door. Their service cost for 2 trips was reasonable. A few days later, the door would not open (again), I scheduled "warranty" service with Aaction. They recognized that they forgot to re-program the opener to the repaired door and fixed it for free, after one no-show appointment. I also have a large "commercial" 14'x14' roll up door. This door got damaged (due to a mistake on my part). Scheduled service for that commercial door was a few weeks out, but they called me with a quicker appointment when they had a slot available. They came out with two people and a lift, repaired that door in about 2 hours, again for price that was only slightly above what it would have cost me to rent a lift myself.

Yelp5I live in new-construction house and these guys installed my garage door opener. One day it stopped working and I called the builder warranty, they directed me to this company. Once on the phone the gentleman walked me through the troubleshooting steps and explained to me exactly what the problem was - a power outlet killed electricity to garage outlets from an electrical surge. Although this was not this company's responsibility he went out of the way to patiently walk me through the process to get my garage door opener working again.

Yelp5Very pleased and highly recommend. Aacction fixed the springs on our Wayne Dalton garage door at a fraction of the cost of another company that we called out first who wanted to retrofit the entire door. Zach fixed the springs and was extremely knowledgeable, personable and quick!! Even the person who answered the phones (Ashley), was extremely knowledgable and helpful. Very happy with Aaction from beginning to end and would use them again.

Google5Justin did my garage door opener install. The install was contracted through Home Depot. I could not be more pleased with the professional and courteous service I received. He was both knowledgeable and friendly about the process. He even programmed my other remotes to work with the new garage door opener install. I asked a few questions regarding the longevity and condition of my existing doors, and he was happy to answer them and did not try to sell me anything (unlike some previous garage door technicians). I think should I have future garage door needs, I would gladly go with Aaction Overhead. Recommended.

Google5I bought my garage door opener from Home Depot and Aaction Overhead Door installed it (Home Depot arranged the install). Everything worked out perfectly, they were right on time and called me 20 minutes before getting here. Justin was the installer and he was very knowledgeable about all the installation procedures and explained everything to me very well. The installation was pretty quick and Justin made sure my garage door was running well in its' track and lubricated places that needed it. Justin was a not only a nice guy but did an excellent job. My new Chamberlain opener is very quite compared to my old chain drive unit. Thanks Aaction! Thanks Home Depot!

Yelp5I purchased a genie garage door opener through Home Depot & the reviews said it was great but the installation was difficult....so when they set up my install through action overhead I asked that they make a note... My installer Chris C. was incredibly courteous, called before he arrived, showed up on-time, explained what he was going to do, installed my unit in only 45 minutes and walked me through all of the features until I was up to speed. AMAZING EXPERIENCE, start to finish. I am now a client for LIFE!!!

Yelp5This guys were great! Called several company's to work on a large commercial roll up door that never even showed up. Called Aaction today at 9am Tim was here by 1pm got the door fixed for a very reasonable price. As this is at my business it was extremely important for a quick turn around. So thanks again to Tim and the Aaction team!

Yelp5We purchased our garage door opener through Home Depot the work order was assigned to Aaction. Everything was great from scheduling to the installation, especially their installation. I wish I could remember the gentleman's name. He arrived early, which is great, and completed the installation in a timely. He was also informative in how all the features work. I highly recommend Aaction.

Yelp5At the most inconvenient time our garage door would not go all the way down. I told my wife to call the number on the sticker by the inside garage door opener. Once again, Aaction Overhead Door came to the rescue. The technician fully inspected our door system and gave my wife a recommendation that would fix our problem and did not propose we rip everything out and start all over. Their prices are very fair and they really care about their customers. I will be using Aaction Overhead Door the next time I need service that I can count on. You should give these great folks a try.

Yelp1Garage doors fail right after warranty expires. Bought brand new house where A Action Overhead was used to install doors. Warranty was for a year after move in date. I have a metal door where the screws sheared from the control arm. Something like this shouldn't happen to a house 15 months old. Callled A Action to look at it and said they would have to charge $90 to come look and I said why would the door fail so soon. Builder wants to buy cheap doors that's what happens. What kind of bullshit answer is that!!!!!!!!!

Yelp5Aaction Overhead Door replaced my opener in July 2017, and were quick, polite, and efficient. November 2018, the spring on my garage door broke, the week of Thanksgiving. Aaction was able to come out the Wednesday before Thanksgiving to replace the spring. My technician (Zach) also made minor adjustments to my door to make it run more smoothly and quietly. Great service, and friendly and polite technicians. Thanks, guys!

Yelp1They overcharged and blatantly tried to rip me off.Something didn't seem right to me, so I asked different company to come check out our garage & examine the supposed "issue" that Aaction claimed was there. The other company confirmed that there was nothing wrong.

Angi5I selected them because there were local & I like to give local people a chance. His price was excellent. He was excellent. One person came out to do the work. He gave me a great price which included adding a new opener. The door works great and sounds quiet going up & down. The new door is actually of a better quality door than the one he replaced. He came out, went to work & was done in about three hours minutes. He had to build a new door, take it apart & hang it. I would recommend him in a heart beat. Services Rendered: My old garage door was damaged by a car & they replaced it for us.
