Google5I have the pleasure of using Overhead Door Company here in Billings, MT . They are efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. I have never had a problem with any work this company or its employees have done for me. They have a well-deserved reputation . Thank you again for your prompt, friendly, professional help fixing issues I have had with 3 old garage doors. 5 star company.

Google1A spring broke on our garage door. A repair person came out, replaced the broken one, and asked if we wanted to replace the second one. My wife asked for the technician's recommendation, they said only replace what was broken so that's what we did. Well the second broke a month later, and the same technician came out and asked - in a condescending way - why we didn't replace them at the same time. We asked the technicians and the owner of the company (Steve, at a later date) if they would drop the labor as we were following their recommendation. They refused. The door needed maintenance a third time about a month later and we contacted a different company because we suspected poor workmanship. And wow what a difference in the new company. The professionalism was better, the communication was better, and the price was way better! I would NOT recommend this company, and strongly recommend you check out the other companies in Billings. We've had much better service elsewhere.

Google1Put a down payment on 7/21/2021 to replace garage door. It was supposed to be in the first of October. They have not contacted me to let me know what is going on. No updates. When I call I have to call several times just for them to tell me everything is behind and they are getting this in piece by piece. All I would like is some communication letting me know what's going on. I would not recommend. I think I am going to lose the $900 deposit i gave them. I told the I wanted it put in before the snow. We have had several snow storms already.

Google1Had them install a new motor and rail. After inspecting everything we noticed they cut the wires goin to the other motor that actually worked. Two weeks later we noticed the rail was bent. Not sure if it was because it may have been opened because it was locked ir the k hook being installed 19 inches from the top. Had another company come out and install doors and they said it's supposed to be install twards the top. Theirs was actually install an in from top. Paid for new rail and we will not use or recommend them.

Google5Awesome crew! We needed a spring replaced and cables restrung. They actually answer their phone, were available the day I called, and showed up first thing in the morning the day we scheduled. The tech was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Also cost much less then I was expecting. Will definitely recommend to others!!

Google5I had them adjust my door because it was not sealing tightly and was letting the wind in. Since the garage is heated, I was losing a lot of heat and $$ due to the bad seal. The receptionist who scheduled me was friendly, they got me on the books faster than any other door company in town, their rate was less expensive than other quotes, and technician was on time, very knowledgeable, and friendly. I highly recommend these folks!

Angi5In early May, I had a new garage door installed by Overhead Garage Door Company of Southern Montana. In addition to doing a quality job on the installation, the door was priced right. They provided the necessary documentation to ensure that my insurance company reimbursed me for the total cost of the door. I would highly recommend this company to anyone in the market for a new garage door. They were a pleassure to deal with! Services Rendered: Garage Door Installation

Angi5Evidently, during the cold week between Christmas and New Year's, a lot of garage doors had problems. I had to wait a week, but that was okay. After about 15 minutes, the problem was isolated to a capacitor. Easy fix for a professional. Reasonable cost of $92 for something I could not figure out. Did not try to up sell me on anything. Definitely will use again. Services Rendered: Genie garage door opener quit and could not be reset by the user (me).

Angi5We picked out the most expensive doors (exceeding our budget) but Steve found high quality doors with the same appearance we were looking for.. The garage door openers are state of the art, complete with motion activated lights. We don't need to turn on the overheads just to take out the trash! The gentleman who installed everything was very tolerant because the construction site was terribly disorganized. The general contractor never coordinated the processes or communicated with the subs & suppliers, and has not forwarded our money to Overhead Door Co. Steve is being very patient and understanding of this delay. Services Rendered: Installed 2 beautiful garage doors & openers on our new home.

Angi5I called Overhead Door and they indicated that they could send someone out to take a look at the door and assess the damage. This person came when promised and looked at the door. He indicated that, if I could live with the minor dent in the bottom panel, the door could easily be adjusted and the bottom roller put back into the track. He said the charge would be significantly less the the $400 plus it would cost to replace the bottom panel. The serviceman that repaired the door did an excellent job. I felt the $80.50 that it cost for the repair was reasonable and veru much, appreciated the recommendations I received from the man that came out to look at the door. Services Rendered: In early October I was exiting my garage with my pickup and inadvertently, didn't wait for the garage door to get all the way up. As a result I put a dent in the lower panel and knocked the bottom roller out of the track. I was convinced that I was probably going to need to have the bottom panel replaced if not the entire door since it is an older door that may not be stocked anymore.

Angi1He called back saying that the parts to repair them were no longer available and we had to buy new ones. I called another competing garage door company and they quoted us much lower price to replace the openers. They also told me that the parts to repair our old ones had been unavailable for a long time, and that Overhead Door should know that, making the "service" call unnecessary. Finally I got a bill from Overhead Door for $74.50, not the promised $49.50, and their reason was that their service man had worked more than an hour trying to repair the doors. This makes no sense if their other reason were true, i.e. if the parts to fix it were no longer available, why would the service man spend over an hour trying to repair them? I will pay the bill simply because it's not big enough to fight about, but I certainly will never use them again. Services Rendered: The guy told me that they would bill me for a standard service charge of $49.50 to come out to the house and look at our garage door openers, to see if they could be repaired.
