Yelp5We have used Family Christian Doors for several years to service our garage door. In January, we called to schedule our annual service. The representative on the phone was very friendly and helpful, and an appointment for four days away was made. Later she called back with an earlier appointment which we accepted. The tech was on-time and had made himself familiar with our account. The work was done quickly with no complaints from us. He did the work for the promised price. Fully recommend this company.

Yelp1I have used them in the past and have always found them to be prompt, courteous, and fair. I requested service for a gate that was not working. I was given an appointment one week out with a two hour window. I thought this was unusual since I usually got service within two days of request. I was at work when a technician came out who called and texted of his arrival. I promptly returned the text and call and got no response. I contacted the office and was told the technician had left. This all happened within a 30 minute window. So even though I am given a two hour window for arrival, it seems I am required to answer promptly or the service is cancelled. I will never use them or recommend them again.

Yelp1I needed a technician because I made a mistake and disconnected a bracket that attached to the cable. I called Family Christian Door to come out and repair the door. The technician ended up charging me $415 for a job that took him less than 45 minutes with no parts involved. I called around to get other estimates afterwards and was told $150-200 for the labor. I called Family Christian Door originally because in the past they had done good work at a fair price. I found out that the founder has sold the business over a year ago. The work done was fine , just at a very high cost. Please get other estimates before calling Family Christian Door. I will not be using them again or recommending them to any of my neighbors or friends.

Yelp1Technician hadn't been on-site 3 minutes before he was trying to up-sell me on a new spring and who knows what else. THEN, they charged me 3.25% to pay with my debit card. NEVER use them again. Shady

Angi1My girlfriend hired this company in August, 2021 for a garage door opener install. This cost more than $600 which included a three year warranty. Less than a year later the opener stopped working and when they came out they stated she needed additional springs which cost her $345. Two trained technicians stated her garage door was too heavy for the opener that they originally installed. UNBELIEVABLE!! Why didn't they tell her that when they first came out to do the install? Now, one year later the opener stopped working but this time it caused garage door damage where the opener track connects to the garage. they would not honor their warranty and stated that they did nothing wrong and tried to charge her full price for a new garage door and opener ($1600). Their is nothing "Christian or Family" about this company (like their business name states)! My advise, don't use this company!! Services Rendered: garage door and opener repair

Angi1My experience was very poor, the first installation was made last 8/24/2021 for the garage door opener that has been broken and damaged but they refused to give a warranty on the repair that needs done on my garage door opener, the next installation was 5/21/2022 the garage door opener has been broken again, I was charged a thousand dollars for the first and second installation but no warranty guaranteed that time and now they area asking for $1600 for them to repair my garage door. Services Rendered: They did a garage door opener installation

Yelp1i've used them in the past and I was 100% satisfied. Call them yesterday for $45 tuneup technician came out sprayed some grease tighten bolts and left try to up. Charge me tell me I need a new rollers and spring. I was also going to purchase a new keypad they quoted me a price of $69 for the keypad and $89 to program it. After further review, I found out I could purchase the keypad on Amazon for 17.99. programming consisted of pushing a yellow button on the garage door opener and then entering your code on the new keypad. This kind of ripping people off is not very Christian like to me.

Yelp5I used this company to install my garage doors on my new house. They have always been very attentive and helpful when I needed anything. I do love my doors and Im happy to have worked with them. This last time I called to get one panel replaced and Edgar was sent to complete the work. The was very helpful and answered the million questions I had. I am happy to do business with FCC. Highly recommend

Yelp1The agents on the phones are awesome. Told me I could use a $25 coupon for the new garage door opener costing $499. The repairman was rude. Not friendly. Refused to take the coupon, said that was for up selling of additional parts. Tried to upsell everything. Down right angry that I refused to purchase anything additional. I was so pleased with the rest of the people on the phones but could not be more displeased with the guy they sent. He does not do this company justice. He was awful. Honestly, I hated that I was stuck in the position that I had to use him. Charged me a service charge for using my credit card. Customer service was not the same in person. Bait and switch.

Yelp1They don't stand by their installs beyond 30 days if you provide your own garage door purchased elsewhere. Less than 90 days post-install I had a problem and they wouldn't even try to reprogram it to see if it was programmed correctly after it stopped closing all the way (without trying to charge me another $89 fee for evaluation). Also, note: they are NOT 24/7 same day. I called them on a Tuesday and they were not able to show up until Friday. Go somewhere else.

Angi5We are so pleased with this company and will definitely use them again. My 27 year old garage door went off the rails on a Tuesday morning. I called and they had someone out that same day to diagnose issue. As old as garage door system was, it really just needed to be replaced. They were able to get new garage door replaced on Thursday. WOW! The installation looks fantastic. The work was perfect. From the folks who spoke to me for scheduling, the super nice guy that did the estimate, and the two guys that did such an amazing and fast job - under 2 hours - the service was top notch from beginning to end. We happily recommend them. Great team! Services Rendered: New 16x7' garage door complete package purchase with motor, new rails, spring, extra remotes and installation.

Yelp5I can not say what a blessing this business is! I needed a tune up and to get the garage looked at in a new home and they not only provided excellent service but also Chris was a pleasure to have the chance to talk to. So rarely anymore do you find a quality company focused on service and care but they are great and really give you piece of mind in their job. I highly recommend any garage door needs to call!
