Google1Updating my review [DO NOT RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICE] G Brothers fixed a door at our old house a few years back and the service was great. However our last experience is vastly different. We moved and called them to install a new operator last year. We thought everything was good until we recently had our garage door replaced. The technician (not affiliated with G Brothers) noticed that new components were missing. He mentioned that new parts should have been installed along with the new operator. G Brothers charged us $721 to install the new operator and did not replace the operator rail bracket, motor arm bracket, or hockey stick. I called the office yesterday, 12/20, and was told that they would send someone out the same day between 12 pm and 2 pm. I was ghosted. The day goes by and I never received a call or communication that they needed to reschedule. I have called multiple times, left a voicemail, sent them a text, and still have heard nothing. Some of my calls have been sent straight to voicemail. My wife also called and left a voicemail. They are dodging our phone calls and have no intention to help us resolve this problem. As you can clearly see, the preexisting operator rail bracket is not made for the operator rail and slides side to side... I'm not a garage door expert, but I don't think the rail should move and this looks like a lazy shortcut - why would they use the old preexisting parts and not replace them with new parts? Why didn't they inform us that these should be replaced when they installed the operator?

After confirming the appointment to finalize the installation, they failed to show up without any prior notice. Contacting the owner revealed an excuse about a two-hour trip and a shortage of manpower, which should have been communicated well in advance rather than leaving customers hanging. Promises were made to explore options and a commitment to a follow-up call at 3:30, which never materialized. Attempts to reach out via voicemail and text messages went unanswered, leaving us completely in the dark about the status of our installation. The lack of professionalism, unreliability in honoring commitments, and the absence of basic communication from G Brothers Garage Doors Repairs and Installation is profoundly disappointing. It's disheartening to witness such disregard for customer service and accountability. The experience has been nothing short of frustrating and disconcerting. For a service-oriented business, this level of unprofessionalism and neglect in customer interaction is simply unacceptable. Potential customers should be wary of engaging with a company that doesn't value its commitments or prioritize effective communication.

Google5The definition of fast and friendly service! I came home after work to find that my garage door had a roller that blew up and threw my whole garage door out of alignment. I called G Brothers and they were able to come to my house within an hour after calling and fixed the door less than 24 hours later! If I ever need another repair, I'm calling these guys.

Google5Our garage door was run into on Monday. Made a call to G Brothers to see if we could get help securing our house. They responded and put the garage door back together enough that it was functional. We asked for a quote to replace the door. Had a quote with in an hour. Reached out to others to check prices. They were all similar in price. After the quick response to the accident, we chose to continue working with them. We asked for a time line to replace the door. We had an appointment on Friday, the same week. They showed on time and completed the install in a very short time. One problem arose, the glass inserts were not on the truck. We were shown the door and told they would go get the inserts and return. We asked if they wanted to settle the bill. We were told "the job isn't finished until the inserts were installed, you can pay when we are done" One if the crew returned within about an hour, installed the panels. We did a final inspection and settled. All of the people we deal with were professional and had great communications. Highly recommended company!

Google5Our garage door cables snapped and ripped the track off the wall.. it was a mess! Called a few companies on Saturday afternoon and these guys were the best choice. Fixed us up in less than 2 hours, at a very very very reasonable price! Thanks again!
