BBB1Rocky Mountain Garage Doors needs to be investigated by the police for flagrant price gouging which I believe we still have laws for this type of robbery, effectively, reading the comments left by folks on this page, it is clear RMGD is consistently gouging people for parts price, I myself is a victim, not really knowing the actual price for parts, I agreed to $180 for a pair of roller plates that I found for $15 online and another $180 for a pair of drums that I also found for $20 online, anywhere, everywhere, so we're looking at 900% profit, this is plain wrong, even in an "emergency" situation, which mine was not and I never asked for same day service, extremely disappointing to have folks opening businesses in Colorado and act this way, this business needs to be fined for price gouging and further investigated, to be followed.

BBB1After quote over the phone of ******* at most 450 for 2 springs, he immediately said it would be like around 600 because the door was wood. I told them that I over the phone. He also found the bearings were worn and had no grease. Add another $75. After the work was performed he asked where I wanted the old broken springs! As a different trade service installer I said in your truck I shouldn't have to deal with those. He refused! Shocked I said well I'm taking money off the price because the job will not be completed toy satisfaction (bor any normal customer). After arguing and him threatening to take it all back apart I decided it wasn't worth possibly escalating into something more, I said just put them on the side of the house which he gladly did.pffft. Then I explained how terrible he was running his business and how I would leave a job site at least as clean as I found it he decided to escalate with " I hope I put the right springs on, because you now don't have a warranty." Being more restrained than I usually would be he drove off and in one last act flipped me the bird. I can't even believe that happened today.

BBB1The most dishonest and unethical company I've have dealt with in my 38 years in ********. BBB must Black List them so they can't take advantage of other senior citizens.I called Rocky Moutain Garage ************ on 11/27 to see why my garage door is not working, after my wife bumps it very gently while exiting - there is a hardly noticeable dent on the lower 1/3/ panel The technician was a young man, who after inspecting the door he said, "we need to replace the lower panel and let me call my boss to see if I can have a better deal for you". I replied by saying, I don't see any reason you need to replace an entire panel. After he spoke with his boss, he said; "here is what my boss suggested to do. We need to install two metal brackets to align the panel which will cost $ 250 each and $250 for labour, also you motor is shot and needs to be replaced with a better design at $550 plus labor. So you total will be around $ 1450."To which I said, "I don't want to throw that kind of money for this small dent, besides I need to get a second quote." His reply was, "I spoke again to my boss and he offered a special discount for Black Friday and another 10 % plus 5% from me, so you final will be only $ 1000."At this point I had enough, so I paid him his $29 for service call and thanked him for his time and he left.30 minutes later the boss called me again and told me, "You are stupid not to take this deal." ... so I hang up on him. Same day, and before calling another company, I asked my neighbor, who is a certified electronics technician and works on road traffic signals to check whether the motor is really shot. After spending exactly 20 minutes, he relieved the chain-cable and rest the motor and everything worked PERFECTLY.

BBB1We had our garage door go off the tracks in December, right before Christmas. *** came out and fixed the garage and also replaced the rollers. *** claimed that the rollers were high quality, and they would last for 10+ years. The rollers cost us over $400.00 (not including labor) and later found the exact rollers for less than $10.00 on Amazon. The garage is under warranty and 2 weeks later *** had to come out again because the garage was giving us issues. *** was very disrespectful to us and still charged us to come out. Tonight another roller went off the track and we are in the same position. Now this company is saying they can't have anyone come out until Sunday. DO NOT USE THIS company! They will over charge you and the quality is horrible!

BBB1Absolute garbage. Rollers broke on my garage. Was mislead and overcharged for quality rollers by a less than helpful technician named ***. Paid $850 for a poor quality job, and the tech ended up needing to come back to readjust the sensors after over charging me for the work. The worst part is the quality rollers I over paid for ended up popping two months in. Worthless service, with an even more worthless technician team and owner.

BBB1This business also goes by Boulder Garage Door repair they are very unethical totally took advantage charged me way too much for a hack job repair ended up breaking my garage door they wouldnt do anything to resolve the problem. Horrible people.

BBB5Let me just jump right in - RON, the supervisor was a life saver and the most professional tech I had ever come across !!! On a Saturday night my door fell on top of my wife's car when it was snowing outside. He got there in 35 minutes WHILE HE WAS HEADED HOME and fixed it by himself in less then an hour. I told him I could wait for tomorrow out of courtesy because of the weather, but he put my family and me first. I am very Thankful I came across this company
