Yelp1Do not use. Called and gave minimum charge of $59 which sounded reasonable. After arriving Price quote for 2 garage springs $1700. Competition was $350-500. Usual garbage about their springs being better. Really??? Scam business preying on elderly and rich. Call someone else and get quote prior to arriving.

Yelp1I will say they did come out the same day I called. and they did replace 2 springs (1 was broken) It took the repair man exactly 1 hour from start to finish. They charged me $1100 to replace 2 springs and it took 1 hr! After I had the door springs replaced (2) I started speaking to my neighbors who had their springs replaced. Cost ranged from $300 to $500. How do they get away with charging $1100. I am also going to report them to the better business bureau.

Yelp1not recommended under any circumstances. ripp off company. I had a bad belt and he came and wanted to sell me a new motor for $1,800 and told me that's the only way to fix it. I called another company they came same day and repaired the belt that was only broken for $220. Stay awayI

Yelp1I recently had my garage springs break and called Mo Better (aka Allied Doors on bank statement) because they had just replaced my opener in the summer. The cost was $1,400!! un believable!! Last week I called them because the bracket holding the chain mechanism to the door was loose and the door wouldnt function properly. They told me if it was a service call it would be $79 and someone could be out within a few hours. I told them it had to do with the mechanism on something they replaced over the summer and was covered by warranty....then they told me if it was a warranty call they could have someone out 3 days later!!! I took it upon myself to solve the problem for $0.23 with a bolt from Home Depot. After all I've paid them in the last year, I ended up solving the problem myself. I WILL NOT be calling them again. So disappointed. And yes, that was my brother that only spent $420 for the same problem but used someone else.

BBB12-15-24 Mo Better would not give an estimate for a SINGLE torchon spring replacement on a garage door until they arrived, the first estimate was $1,600.00 and the second was $900.00 and then my wife showed him the cost that was paid for TWO springs of $407, then they came down to $650.00. Seriously, this extreme margin is total gouging of senior citizens and TOTAL a disgrace! Then, there is an automatic renewal on maintenance membership that can only be stopped by a written letter, no phone or email is accepted. We would like restitution due to the extreme stress this has caused and we don't want anyone else to go though this. WE WANT NO AUTOMATIC RENEWAL ON MAINTENANCE.

Yelp1A spring broke in my garage door and an overhead door company replaced both springs, lubed and serviced my door for $420 dollars. My sister had the same issue and she contacted Mo Better. They replaced both springs and charged her $1,400.00 What a rip off!

Yelp1Ridiculous - DO NOT CALL THEM. I asked for a ballpark esimate and they wouldn't give it to me over the phone. $1,000 estimate to replace typical springs. I have another company coming in today for half the price.

Yelp5Our garage door spring broke one evening. We called Mo Better Garage. The customer service person was friendly and scheduled our service for the next day. The tech, Nico, was early, which was a nice surprise. Nico was professional and personable. He explained our options and answered our questions in detail. He completed the job quickly, leaving everything neat and clean. The door had never run so smooth and quiet before. We highly recommend Nico and the staff at Mo Better Garage.

BBB5REVIEW AMENDED!!!!!!!!!! Allied Doors and Mo Better Garage Doors did an outstanding job reaching out to me to correct an issue. They corrected it to my satisfaction and I am very pleased. They strived to make it right and they did. Most companies never step up to make things right and this company did!!! Any company that takes the time to hear and respond to a customer is an outstanding company to use.

BBB1I had a garage door belt replaced and they charged me $319.00. My neighbor had the same belt replaced and Allied charged him $130.00. The service manager refused the discuss why or make an adjustment.
