Wow, even after all the negative reviews about your 1980s advertising tactics you really don't learn. Its 2024, no one wants trash on their house. You're jeopardizing people's safety and really just creating waste. If someone wants your business they'll Google you.

My house has a fairly old garage door and I've had to have it serviced a few times in the last 15 years. Absolute Garage Doors has always done a great job, repairing the problem without trying to upsell me on a new garage door or anything like that. Ask for Julius. He knows what he's doing and he's an honest man.

Highly recommend Absolute Garage Doors. Solved my garage door problem in a timely matter. Esteban was our tech, and he was very professional. The office staff was also very professional, and willing to assist. Great service!

I have a couple of garage door panels that were hit by something and broken. Now I need a new garage door. Now I don't know if this business caused the damage but their magnetic ad is on my door and after reading other reviews about this companies trespassing I'm suspicious. Of course I won't hire them and I'd advise others to stay away. Let them understand the consequences of their unfortunate advertising gimmick.

Called on 1/19 to have my garage serviced. $65 for trip and add garage door adjustment service becomes $135. I specifically confirmed $135 for adjustments and reply was yes, she specifically said if it require material and extra work that will be extra which I agreed. Made appointment for between 11AM - 1PM, called me at 11:48AM said will be at my house in approximately 45 min (12:33PM), I said fine. Showed up at almost 1PM. Took a look at my garage problem of when closing garage eye jingles, cause the garage to reopen. Quoted me $65 to install a bracket for the eye to mount to wall and I agreed, after he installed the eyes he was ready to get paid $204 and walk away. What about doing some door adjustments I asked, his reply was I adjusted the eye. At least adjust my garage doors system a bit maybe oil the hinges a little so it runs smoothly. Reply was I adjusted the eye, adjusting the eye was that extra $65... Complained to the office he then started to take the brackets off because I complained, remount eye to original location, my wife called me to complain then wife said she will just pay him whatever. He remounted the eye to the wall, then do the agreed upon garage door adjustment (oil hinges, wipe down spring sprayed the chain). Not sure how much we ended up paying, hopefully $204 agreed upon price. BTW I have Ring setup in the garage, just reviewed the clip before I started this review.

This company sends guys out in neighborhoods to place magnetic advertisements on your garage door without permission when you are not home. They did it to my garage door this morning. This is illegal and they also do not put the California State Contractors License Number on the advertisement which is illegal. People may think I'm being petty, but the guy who placed this on my door almost hit my garage door while riding up my driveway very fast on his electric bike. I caught him on several of my Ring cameras. This can also be used as a markers for people casing houses to see if someone is out of town by not removing them. My neighbors and I are filing complaints with the California Contractors Licensing Board today. I encourage you to do the same. You can find the Contractors Licensing Board on line very easily and file the complaint there. I assure you they will be looking into this.

These clowns sent a guy out to replace one spring on my garage door. I asked him to use the same size that I had. After baiting me with "do you want American or Chinese springs", he quoted me $500 for one installed spring - which he undersized compared to what broke. I already had the broken spring off along with the cables and the center cone. It would take him 30 minutes from that point at the most. I told him no so he went to call his "supervisor". Five minutes later it was $300 - which pissed me off more! He said the spring was $125 which left $175 for labor ie $350/hour. Sent him packing and did it myself. This used car approach is giving you a bad name. A simple price list should be provided - this is not brain surgery.

This service call was through Fidelity Home Warranty. Everything went smoothly - from claim, appointment made. appointment kept. Woman who I made the appointment with was very helpful, even trying to move my appointment up a day. Julius came out within the time window ( scheduled 9-12; he arrived approx. 10 am.) He got to work right away and finished in about 1:30. He replaced the old unit with a brand new one. A few glitches occurred, which he addressed and fixed. Programmed our cars and tested the unit thoroughly before he left. So far so good. Thank you.

BEWARE. These guys come out with a bathroom scale to tell you your door weights too much and you need to spend $500 on new springs. The spring are about a year old. Do not trust them. Then they get an attitude when you don't want to spend the money. Can not be trusted. Total scam. READ YOU REPLY. NOT ACCURATE.

JOKE! I am not the type to speak ill of people re business as a matter of fact I just set up this account because I had to comment on how poorly this company handled business with me. I contacted this company as a RETURNING customer, they installed my door a few mths back and now needed the opener repaired/replaced. I was scheduled two days out and told someone would come out between 1-4, fine, see ya then. The receptionist, whom sounds like she hates her job, calls me and leaves a msg approx 10:30 a.m. on the scheduled workday, I call back 2-3 times and get "voicemail full", I finally reach this person at 12:20 and Im given a story about their scheduling and they called me but couldnt reach me, like, Im at fault, like Im just waiting around for them to call me. I kindly said Ill be home at 1:00 the beginning of my scheduled window. I was told Id be contacted before the tech would arrive, great. I get a call at 4:50 telling me the tech cant make it and would I like to reschedule for next week, today is Thursday. Obviously, yes Im upset especially hearing this news in the I dont care, Id rather be doing something else tone Ive heard on every call with this rep, their courteous customer oriented solution was would I like to see if someone else can help me. That should actually be a punchline. Good business is important but integrity comes above all. If you upset a customer, take your lumps and and make it right.

The office answered the phone right a way (unlike some other companies) and scheduled an appointment that afternoon with a two hour time frame (no waiting forever) and promised a call before he came. They did call before he came. He came on time. Did all the work professionally and quickly. He even showed the proper way to maintain the mechanism which eliminated the squeak. I would recommend Absolute Garage Doors and I will use them again myself. Services Rendered: The garage door wasn't working including having a broken roller and an annoying squeak and there was something wrong within the opener which made the door go up and down incessantly.

I discovered early Saturday morning, 6-27-2015, that there was a problem with my garage door. I called Absolute Garage Doors and a technician arrived promptly. There were more problems then what I originally thought. The door is approximately 12 to 15 years and never had any repairs. The technician was very professional and explained all the problems and what it would cost to make the repairs. I had him go ahead and make the repairs and in a relatively short time everything was fixed. Job was very well done. I will call this company again in the future for maintenance purposes. I did learn something about garage doors! Services Rendered: Repair roll-up garage door.

I called Absolute at 9 a.m. on a Saturday and company scheduled an appointment before noon. However, serviceman was delayed on another job and informed me of such. He arrived about 12:45 p.m.and had the job completed within an hour. He asked where I found out about Absolute Garage Doors and when I informed him it was from Angie's List, he provided a 10 percent discount on parts. The $25 service call fee, applied to labor, was lower than other garage door repair companies listed. Did a thorough job of explaining what parts were needed and what I could do to prolong the life of the door/opener. Services Rendered: Torsion spring for my roll-up garage door was broken. Absolute Garage Doors replaced with two springs so, in the future, if one breaks the other can still lift the door. Serviceman provided this option for an extra fee which made sense to me. He also replaced one of the bearings and advised me to grease certain areas of the door-opening mechanism to prevent further wear. Finally suggested adding a screw to the trolley to secure the release mechanism

Came out right away and fixed the garage. I had to pay for the opener around 150 and the cost for workmanship was $145.00. I still need work done on garage, but he got the garage to at least open and close and gave me estimate of other cost needed. I can express how happy I was with their punctuality, professionalism, and fast work. I still have work to do, but they got that garage working up until now. Services Rendered: I really appreciated what they did, which they install the opener, adjustments and hinges.
