Google5I purchased a new garage door opener from Home Depot. We utilized D&D garage doors to install this replacement garage door opener. Josh was on time, very neat, very professional, and cleaned up the job site very nicely. Actually, he helped to set up all the remotes for this garage door opener as well our other garage door opener. I was so pleased with their service. I highly recommend them if you need a garage door opener installed or other service Thanks again!

Google5My garage door was making a whole lot of noise and the service rep arrived on time for the appointment. He advised honestly that it just needed lubricant. Easy solution! Honest service is always appreciated.

Google5They put in the garage doors on our new home. Pricing was reasonable and service excellent. They came back twice to fine tune everything and answer all our questions/concerns after the home was finished and didn't charge us. A company that truly cares about customer service!

Google5I was having issues with my garage door opening and D&D was able to schedule me up for the next day. They diagnosed the problem and fixed it quickly. They were very reasonably price and did not try to sell me on anything I didn't need. Will definitely use again.

Google5My garage door has come off the rails 4 times in the last 6 years. It was repaired by the company that originally installed it 6 years ago. They charged me 275 for each repair. Your garage expert came to fix it within days. Found problem (it had been installed wrongly )and fixed it! Thank you. I am recommending your company to all of my neighbors. Happy New Year

Google5Excellent service for Wayne Dalton products when you need it! I called other companies first, and they wanted me to spend $100s of dollars to switch from the Wayne Dalton tube (installed in most newer homes) to their springs. D&D was able to repair what I already had for a lot less. They also stand behind their repairs. I highly recommend D&D.

Yelp1Have put in a request for a garage door that didn't work upon moving in to a brand new house, the garage door is still not fixed because they still have not came out. Currently, they are next door blasting music at a new build as loud as humanly possible. How ridiculously unprofessional. No wonder they have horrible reviews and can't understand their own profession. Lol. If y'all would focus on doing your job, maybe, just maybe you wouldn't have so many issues. Shocking I tell you, so shocking /s. Pro tip: use someone else.

Yelp1Horrible. Recently purchased our home and needed service for the garage door. Their phone number was on the door, they must have installed it. The first time I had to wait over a week for a service call. The customer service was very confusing they kept calling me with different dates for the service call. They didn't seem to have an organized system. The service guy however was excellent when he finally did come and did a maintenance check. A month later started having problems with the door, once again over a week wait for a service appointment, they were supposed to come last Friday. I called early in the morning to confirm and they said they would be coming on Monday. I told him that my husband had taken half a day off from work, there was nothing they could do. On Monday morning I called first thing to confirm once again they said someone will be there tomorrow. I said once again my husband took a half-day off from work you must come today by 10 AM or I am going to leave a negative review. No call no show. I called another company, they came the following day. They are probably very short staffed but they need to get their act together and stop wasting peoples time. Or they will be going out of business unfortunately.

Yelp1Writing my first ever negative yelp review because of the unbelievably horrendous service request/interaction with D&D Garage Door. My garage door has a broken coil/spring and because it has six-inch metal "hurricane" crossbars and I'm unable to lift the door leaving a car "trapped" in the garage. I called D&D on Monday and the earliest appointment was Friday from 3 PM to 5 PM for servicing the door. I decided to wait the week out because this company installed the door and, more recently, a new motor. I waited and Friday came and went; no serviceman and no service call. Called on the following Monday and spoke with Paul who offered no reason why the appointment wasn't kept, why no one called to inform me of their inability to keep the appointment, and, offered no apology for this poor service until I asked him for some accountability for the situation. Paul then told me he'd work to try to schedule me sometime on Monday, and assured me multiple times that if they weren't able to come out on Monday, they'd come out Tuesday between 2 PM and 4 PM. Of course, there was no service call on Monday (I guess others who were scheduled for Monday get preference over missed appointments). On Tuesday I wait for the service tech to arrive and when no one comes, I call at 3:30 PM and am told by a receptionist that I've been rescheduled until Wednesday between 3 PM and 5 PM. Again, no call to tell me they would not be coming, and they apparently had the expectation that I would somehow magically know that they would be arriving the next day to once again wait around for them to not show up. Asking to speak to Paul resulted in the receptionist telling me he wasn't in and when I asked to speak to his supervisor or a supervisor, I was told I could not, with the receptionist saying "You got me". I was told the technician called in sick that morning - that morning! - but I received no call nor was my job prioritized after receiving assurances that it would be completed on Tuesday. As I indicated, this is my first critical Yelp review and I'm writing to warn others to stay as far away from this company as possible. My interaction with them leaves me convinced they are unreliable, deceitful, and apparently don't have the time or interest to communicate with customers or to treat them respectfully. Probably the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Save yourself time and stress - read some of the other similar reviews - go elsewhere.

Yelp1New construction home. Door opener stopped working within days of moving in. I set up a warranty service call. Soonest available was a week later. Guy didn't show. No call. Can't reach anybody at the office. Can't use my garage door.

BBB1Make an appointment a week early. Scheduled for 12-4 on given day. Called the 321 office to see where the tec is on his scheduling around 1PM. They know nothing. Said tec didn't answer his phone. I canceled 2 appointments one of them was taking my sister to radiation treatments (5 days a week). I am disgusted with the way a company thinks they can waste your whole afternoon and not bother to call during the LONG 4 hours one sits waiting. Won't happen again.

Yelp1I am a commercial customer who received a quote from their Commercial Division (Arnie) back in June. I signed the quote and asked him to order the replacement door panels on June 22nd. He told me there was a 3-4 week lead time for them to be installed. After repeated attempts to get an answer, I pretty much gave up until I called on Wednesday (9/2) and spoke to a General Manager (Chuck I believe) who did not seem happy with the situation and said he would find out what was going on and call me back. Three days later and no return call. I will be calling another company Tuesday to repair my overhead doors moving forward.

Yelp1You treated my mom awesome so this is not a bad review but a truthful how customer patience doesn't pay off and why you should understand why companies have no right to be upset over reviews that don't paint a perfect picture. DandD you had 4 chances, first call 2 weeks booked solid before I could get an appointment told either wait or call back new construction is our priority. Second chance made an appointment no call no show, 2nd time talked into rescheduling waited almost another week for the first appointment of the day. No show no call until I called them the tech called me at the end of the time window after being told to call me to tell me his truck broke down and it would be at least 30 minutes to an hour possibly more so I can cancel and he was happy because he was backed up not a bit concerned of my loss of time. I called the office they canceled my appointment then someone called me back and said he is only 10 minutes away so who do I believe??? I told the person on the phone no I need to get over my frustration. A week later I get a call asking me to reschedule so I made a mistake. I agreed to another appointment but I wanted a new tech. Guess what the same tech shows up right when his supposed to and tells me work has been very busy including new construction which is what they are concentrating on . We discuss my opener and he talks me into the one he installed in his house. I agree and I pay him a deposit then he says now for the bad news. I can't install today it will be Saturday after next it needs to be ordered. So yesterday I drive by the Jacksonville store they act like I am not being patient when I find out its going to be a few more weeks and that new construction has them busy to mention we ordered the part but it comes from Sarasota and there is only one in the warehouse and they will get it in the next truck. None of that made any sense because Amazon will sent it to me in 3 days and also shows me they are charging me a hefty installment but is dont give a damn about my time. I ask for a refund of my deposit 3 times as people try to tell me I need to install a lesser model. By this time who wants to DandD to do anything for me. In less than 24 hours I have a new Garage door opener the same model garage door opener. I am 20 year Real estate professional and have been in the construction trade for ever. New construction is not forever good customer service is. Like I said not a bad review but a truthful review .

Yelp1D&D were contacted through my home builder to install 2 garage doors and garage door openors. All i can say is this is the slopiest job i have ever seen. Paint all over the garage door openors. Paint all over the wall controls, which were also installed in the wrong order. I called to ask them about getting a keypad for the outside garage. They quoted me $70 for a service call and $65 for the keypad. Bought the keypad (new) on line for $25. Took 5 minutes to program and mount. That's what they are all about. $$$$ They have no respect for the homeowner.
