Yelp5Great work, professional, friendly and efficient. They installed two new doors with openers. They left the garage clean and hauled away all the trash. I highly recommend.

Yelp2My review is based solely on the front office customer service. Our spring broke on our garage and my husband contacted Richardson's to order the replacement part. I stopped in to the business to pay and pick up the item and the service was good. That night, my husband realized he had the wrong sized spring. He contacted them and explained he had messed up and would like to exchange for the correct one which they were willing to do if we brought in our broken spring. My husband warned me that they were not friendly on the phone before I left to do the exchange. When I visited the store the ladies demeanor had completely changed from the day before. One of the employees repeatedly stated that my husband gave her the wrong measurements and even fished out her notes from the garbage. It was weird because neither I or my husband were saying otherwise, but she just kept going on and on about it and I was even being overly nice because my husband had warned me. Just bizarre! My teenager even thought it was strange. She even continued the complaining as we quickly walked out the door. I'm not sure why this was such a hot button for her. Perhaps it has been a problem in the past for the company, but regardless, as a new customer, this experience where it seems like I was the grownup with the child throwing the fit is uncalled for and totally unprofessional. It would have been a good service and good review had the employee been professional and courteous. Two stars for being willing to make the exchange.

Google5The combination of a worn, broken torque tube and the door freezing to the floor during a winter storm combined for a very loud catastrophic event one morning as my opener proceeded to rip all the interior hardware off my door. A friend recommended Richardson's so I called when they opened. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and professional and the technicians promptly got my door working better than it ever had before.

Yelp110+ months. Our contractor ordered the door LAST JULY and we still don't have it. This has gone past bad customer service and the only family-friendly word I can think of now is APPALLING. Or maybe INEXCUSABLE. DO NOT give these people your business or your money.

Google1In this day and age I believe it is important to shop local and support small business. I have done business with Richardson's Garage Door, Inc. In the past few years, and have had no complaints. I needed a keypad remote for my Linear Garage Door Opener, so i went to their office to purchase one. When I got home and reviewed the installation instructions and went online to YouTube for further instructions I could not get the keypad to talk to the opener. I tried several times over the course of a couple days. No luck. I returned to their office to return the keypad as I felt it was defective and was immediately told that all electronics were not returnable and all sales were final. Defective or not and no offer to replace it. I was told my opener was probably defective and that they would be happy to schedule a technician, for an additional fee, of course, for the service call. I could have purchased the same keypad on Amazon for half the price, but I wanted to shop local. Now I'm stuck with a non-functioning key pad. I could not and would not recommend this business to my friends, or anyone if they were in search of services of which they could provide. Yelp5The garage door technician was very prompt. He figured out very quickly what was wrong with my door and corrected the problem. Also sprayed all the moving parts to help lubricate them. Great price for great value.

Google1I contacted them at 8 am when they opened to inform them that my garage door had came off the tracks and the wire came off the wheel. I was informed that it may not be under warranty and a tech would need to come out and look at it. I was informed they would need look at their schedule and get back to me. 4 and a half hours later I fixed it my self and called back to speak to management about no one calling me back and found out it was management that I spoke with earlier who never returned my call..Very horrible customer service.

Yelp5Aaron Showed up on time, explained how and why we were having the problems we had. Adjusted the motor on the door. Good attitude and efficient. Have used these guys over the years a few times, never disappointed with their service. Observed virus precautions, masked and gloves.

Google5My aunt who has worked in the residential construction industry for several decades recommended them as being the absolute best garage door company in Tri-Cities. The installation was perfect, the price was lower then I expected, and the bill matched the quote! (which unfortunately is not the norm among construction companies). They have my business for life and I highly recommend them.

Google5Giving this business 5 stars! Our garage door had stopped working and we quickly got an appointment scheduled. In addition after speaking with one of the employees she was able to better understand the issue and send the repair man prepared to fix out garage on the first visit. Super awesome customer service. The repair technician was also very friendly, professional and speedy. Within the hour he was able to repair the door and fix it. Thank you again Richardson's Garage Door Inc.

Google5Long time customer for years. Tom and his staff always meet or exceed expectations. Recently had my door tuned up and a new opener installed and I love it! As for the technician, he was professional, quick, thorough, and cleaned up after himself when done. (Even cleaned up some of my mess!) Thanks everyone!!

Google1I've bought both garage doors and garage door openers from this place over the years. i bought a garage door opener from them within the last year. It lost its pairing and i couldn't get it to pair again. I went in for advise and they absolutely refused to help me. Said I had to make a service appointment so they could charge me to send a tech. If that's the best they can do with customer relations I am done being a customer there.

Yelp5After twenty one years our Liftmaster garage door opener gave up the ghost. There was no doubt in our mind who to turn to; Richardson's. They installed our original door and opener and have stood ready for maintenance and repair when needed. We called on a Tuesday afternoon and they were here Wednesday morning with everything they needed to get the job done. Prompt, courteous, and efficient. Richardson's Garage Doors for all OUR garage door needs.

Yelp5My special order garage door replacement was installed by Michael today. I would highly recommend Richardson's based on home builder referral, their inside support staff; the timely updates you receive prior to date of service. Most importantly has to be the folks that come to our homes. Today Michael removed and installed my garage door, he was on time, personable, professional, took the time to explain how new features work and actually took the time to program the installed remotes in my cars. You can purchase doors from various businesses, it's the service that will lead me to recommend Richardson's to friends and neighbors. I will only call on them should maintenance be needed. Thank you.
