Had the tech look at the door and all the components and we had a discussion on the age of the opener and decided that things needed to be replaced. Tech gave me options on springs, cables and new opener and let me choose the correct fit for us. He then proceeded to replace all the required items and then worked to get all the existing remotes synched up. Charles was a great guy to work with and a true professional!! I am a satisfied customer and would recommend Precision Garage Door Service to anyone!!

I called Precision Garage doors yesterday morning and they were able to have someone out at my house early that afternoon. Sean was very professional and knowledgeable and I was happy that they could do the work that day.

Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for your garbage door purchase and service. In my opinion, this business seems to have a cash flow problem. According to their sneaky contract, they kept $2000.00 of the $,4000.00 I gave them because we wanted to cancel the service about 2 hours after they left my house. So they get 2k for absolutely nothing. No work done, no new garage door. Easy money for them. We tried to fight for our refund but they endured and got 2k of our money., That's why I believe they have a cash flow problem. Otherwise they would have displayed good customer service and goodwill by giving us of our money back. So we're out $2,000.00 of senior citizen fixed income money. They are also angry because of the bad reviews we gave. Talks about getting scammed. Beware.

We had damage to our door and so we called Precision. Some people told me they were a little higher in price, but I did not find that the case and even if they were, their customer service was top notch and worth it!! Great experience all the way around! Highly recommend!

They show up right away to get your business. Lie to you about how long it will take to replace, fix, or do whatever. Then after you sign the contract and pay your money they give you a different story about how long it will take. They told me two weeks initially, then told me four weeks after I signed the contract. I didn't have a garage door at all on my home because it was destroyed by an impaired driver. So now that I'm four weeks out minimum from getting a door I decide to go to Home Depot to buy a door for temporary use. I measured the opening before I went to pick it up and found the opening was 9' wide x 7' high. So, I went and purchased the door, painted the door, and installed the door. I read the contract again from precision door and found that they quoted me for a 8' wide x 7' high door. I called them the next business day to confirm what size door they ordered which turned out to be the 8' x 7'. They did not believe that the door was 9' x 7'. So, after numerous phone calls from the technician that took the measurements, secretaries and management from the company they sent someone over to measure the door. After it was confirmed that the opening was 9' x 7' I was told that wouldn't affect the ETA of the new door. Total time waiting for the door ended up being 7 weeks. To add insult to injury, when the door showed up it was the WRONG COLOR! After several back and forth phone calls with PRECISION I ended up having to paint the door myself. I basically saved their A.. and I never even got a thank you for telling them they ordered the wrong size door. Needless to say I won't be calling them again for anything.

Charles F., was very professional and very knowledgeable about the job that needed to be done. Once he was done with the installation he showed and explained all of the features that came along with the product that I chose to install. He even made sure to clean up whatever mess he made and asked me if I have any questions or concerns about the installation. All I could say was thank you for making me feel safe with the installation and that my family is safe!

Today was the second time I used Precision for my garage doors. I called yesterday and they literally came the next day and solved all my problems. The tech, Charles Filbeck, was efficient, friendly and honest. He wasn't pushy and he did a great job. I love that the company sends a picture of the tech that comes out and gives some fun facts about them as well. I keep their number in my garage right next to the garage door opener and I will definitely be calling again next time I need something. Thank you Precision for your help.

Last week, I had a strange problem with my garage door. The door was going up on its own. It began on a Monday night. I put the trash out for Tuesday a.m. pick-up. The next morning, I received a text from my neighbor across the street, who told me he closed my door as he was on his way to work at 5:30 a.m. Then, on Friday, I was out at a meeting. His wife works at home and noticed my car leave and then saw the door go up after I left. She called me and I used the My Q app to close it. It happened twice more on Friday. So, about 5:30 p.m. on Friday, January 12, 2024, I called Precision Overhead Door of Las Vegas and asked if they could have someone come over to look at it. A very nice man named Charles came over. He got in the garage and walked around, but never got on a ladder and looked at the opener. I told him what had been happening. He told me the logic board was out on the opener, which was less than two years old. He said it would be $544.95 to replace the logic board but he could install a new one, with a new rail, for $1,416.95. He was very nice and polite, but he did not check the unit at all. I had to pay a $59.99 service call since I didn't have them do anything. After much thought, I decided to get another company to look at it. That company had two workers come over and they immediately got on a ladder and looked at the motor. The first thing they told me was, the door was probably going down too far and that was causing it to bounce back up and open. One of the gentlemen played with the up/down arrows on the side and was raising and lowering the door a small bit at a time. Finally, he got it to a point where it was flush on the ground, but the door wasn't opening right back up. That fixed the problem and that company charged me zero. As it turns out, I paid one company that tried to sell me something I didn't need $60 and I paid the company that fixed my issue zero. After seeing what the second company did to repair it, I realize that the first person could have done that, as well, but tried to gouge me and make a massive profit. I cannot recommend Precision Overhead Door of Las Vegas and will never use them for any reason in the future. Stay away from them.

Phenomenal service and quality!! The Precision technician, Colin, was absolutely outstanding! He was able to offer an excellent price and warranty and he immediately went to work, albeit after 4pm. He stayed and worked overtime to get the job done. And that included an unforeseen power outage in our neighborhood that lasted about 40 minutes. His professionalism and friendliness as well as the quality of work he provided ensured I will not recommend anyone else for this type of service. Thank you again Colin, and Precision Door.

Neither of our remote openers would operate the garage door, so I called Precision. The guy who stopped by said that our remotes needed reprogramming for some flimsy reason. He did that, lubricated the moving parts, and sold us a universal remote that we did not ask for. The bill? $279.85! And he did not even offer the senior citizen discount, clearly mentioned in Precision ads, to us here in Sun City Anthem, a 55+community. The next day neither remote would lift the door. Now I don't have a degree in garage-door-opening, but I went ahead and changed the CR-2032 battery in each of the remotes anyway. They are still working perfectly. Two days after the guy visited, a supervisor called to ask how much we had been charged. He had no comment when I told him. He must have suspected something. It is clear we were ripped off by a so-called technician who did not even have the brains to think to change the batteries! Patronize anyone but these con artists.

I had the springs snap in my "Torquemaster" garage door and was not having any luck finding a repair. It also seemed daunting to handle myself. Precision called me back and told me they had an opening, in case I wanted a free estimate. Couldn't argue with that! My technician, Kason, was a really cool guy. He had a quick look and confirmed, yep, the spring snapped. He explained that this "torquemaster" system was proprietary, patented, and sadly cheap. This also meant that local repair places can't carry the parts. (All facts I independently verified beforehand) Switching to a universal system would be beneficial in the long run, and last much longer before needing to be fixed again. (Even the cheaper torsion springs will last 60,000 cycles compared to the Wayne-Dalton torquemaster's 10,000) Not what I hoped for at the beginning, if I'm completely honest, but to be fair I never felt pressured at all and Kason was willing to work with me according to my budget and current situation. I could tell he wanted to do what he could to earn my future business, and not just squeeze dimes out of me. So, instead of waiting 5 days for ordered parts with my heavy door not working, and spending a long time in my garage working with potentially dangerous parts under load, he could do it in one and a half hours right now! Did I mention he even let me know he was ahead of schedule and asked if he could come sooner than originally planned? Quality work and quality pros. Thanks, Kason! :)

Precision Overhead Door recently replaced our garage door opener and new rollers. After 30 years the old opener finally died. The new unit is super quiet and especially when the rollers were replaced. Tyler Finch did a wonderful job with the installation of the new garage door opener and made it sure it functions very well. So happy with the work done...Thanks!

Our garage door kept starting and stopping so we called precision for an appointment, the service technician FIL BECK arrived on time. Did a thorough check of the springs, rollers and he explained what was wrong with our LiftMaster, and that we would have to replace it. He also replaced our sensors and our door opener. He was very thorough, knowledgeable and a great personality

Two wonderful technicians (Christopher and Josh) went out of their way to help me with a garage door opener issue today. They were not only professional but extremely understanding about my fixed income when giving me an estimate. I have used Precision in the past and they have always been #1 in my opinion. Thanks again guys! May God bless you both

I was quoted 399 for install and equipment. I had an appointment between 4-6 guy arrived at 8p after I called a couple times to check if someone was still coming. He arrived and tripled the price and said 1400 based on the materials he had…not what we agreed on. Would not recommend do not trust.

This place is great. I called in a panic because my garage door had issues. They sent Barrett out right away this morning. He called to let me know he was on his way. He showed up quickly. He was well dressed, and very professional. Barrett explained what had happened and let me know the cost upfront, which was very reasonable. He fixed everything along with leaving the area Nice and clean. Thank you Barrett. You are absolutely an excellent representative for precision overhead garage doors. We will use you all when needed. I would highly recommend Barrett at precision overhead garage doors.

I was excessively overcharged for a new garage door opener from Precision Door Service of Las Vegas. I ended up paying $2,538.85 for a Liftmaster 84501 Garage Door Opener with installation, something which they received from Liftmaster for between $150-$200 (Liftmaster:800-528-5880). I had originally called them to fix a short circuit in my original garage door opener. When the technician said he wouldn't be able to find a short circuit even if there was one. I was desperate to ensure my home was secure again since I needed a working garage door opener to secure the garage door per the technician. I hadn't planned on purchasing a new opener, just having my old one fixed. When the technician said he can't fix a short I didn't feel I had much choice but to replace it to have my home secure. I don't want anyone else taken advantage of like I was. I tried to discuss the overcharge situation with Neil in the Las Vegas office (702-386-0106) thinking it was some mistake but he said that was the price and couldn't do anything. Please use a different Liftmaster dealer who won't take advantage of you & rip you off if you need a garage door opener replaced. I called them to specifically repair a short in my opener and they said they would send a technician to do it. The technician didn't even look at the opener before telling me he wouldn't be able to find a short in it. Precision Door Service of Las Vegas excessively overcharges and rips off their customers. Had I known that they couldn't repair my opener ahead of time like they said they could, I would have been able to research prices before making a purchase & gotten an ethical company who would charge reasonable to replace an opener. Please beware of Precision door services of Las Vegas! They have unethical business practices and price gouge unsuspecting customers. Services Rendered: Repair of a short circuit in my garage door opener. Instead they charged $2,538.85 for installing a new $150-$200 garage door opener claiming a short can't be fixed in the opener I had without even looking at

DO NOT DO BUISNESS WITH THIS COMPANY. I spent over 5k for a brand new door and complete assembly. Had a gap between panels and claimed it was due to the trim. I disagreed but the tech was sure that was the issue. Against my judgment I paid an additional 500 bucks for trim(cheap looking trim mind you) with labor and now have damage to my home that I just had the entire house repainted with touch up work that cost over 8k. This happened in May and today after alot of back and fourth the tell me they will give me 100 dollars off next service which is a joke. I will never do buisness with this company again. I will file complaints as well. I have text from tech that did the work that this company was going to make him pay for repair. HORRIBLE COMPANY Services Rendered: Complete garage door system

David, our tech, explained that we had a Wayne Dalton system and that it required a conversion kit. I had already researched the system that we owned and had a full understanding of what was going to be required to have the garage door in working order again. I have to say it was very refreshing to Not have a tech come in and start to hustle and shake me down. David explained everything honestly, a rare trait these days. I highly recommend Precision doors. Services Rendered: My spring to my Garage door had failed and needed to be replaced.
