When Sam came out to fix the garage door he was incredibly rude to the point I had to tell him to stop speaking to me in such a manner it get off my property. He left a mess after his repairs leaving parts in the garage and driveway. He then threatened me over billing. I would never recommend this company.

Update: This company uses scare tactics and actually threaten with a lien on your home when you contest their unfair billing practices. Appalling. They up sell and are expensive. I felt bullied into buying repairs we did not need. Our door worked perfectly. We needed a replacement remote and I should not have listened to the owner who told me I needed over $1600. of new parts.

First they sold me on changing my garage door opener. In retrospect I don't really know if it was necessary. The price of the unit (not including the install fee) was double what is on the web. Altogether I paid 3 times what it would have cost to put a standard door opener. They take the name off the unit and put their name on the unit and the manual so that you can't cross shop it, and so that you would need them forever. Also, he intimates you to make a decision on the spot, and acts like you are cheep if you don't go for it. Later, I needed service. He came in and said I need to replace all the rollers on my garage door to the tune of over $1200. This time I did not bite. The rollers were not urgent but years later, I decided to replace them. I got other bids l. I paid $400 (after the pandemic with all the price increases.) It's a racket. Don't fall for it.

I wanted to support a local business on the west side, but do not go with this company. They charged a high service fee ($135) to come out, said my system was too old to work on after 2 minutes, and then quoted a huge price to replace everything. The sales person Sam was rude and condescending, I went with another company that was much cheaper and didn't have the attitude.

I manage several luxury estates in Beverly Hills that have very complicated garage door systems. I contacted Gavin, who is the owner of LA Overhead Door. He and his team immediately came out and repaired a very complicated system. I highly recommend LA Overhead Door and Gavin to help any builder or consumer who really needs help with complex systems and systems that are made in Europe. I look forward to using them for all of my properties.
