BBB5Our first experience with Mid-Sourh Door Company came in **** when they installed our first ever garage door with an automatic opener. The products and the company have served us well. I believe we have required only four service calls in those 21 years, and service was rendered promptly and efficiently. The office personnel are friendly and sensitive to customer needs. Their installers and technicians are top-notch. My wife and I were extremely pleased with their service provider named ***. Our opener had finally failed due to some obsolete parts, and ,on a Friday, *** walked us through our replacement options. His pitch began with the caveat that his company only sells high-end products. The idea of obtaining a high-end product from a reliable company was important to us as was our time urgency. I believe we bought the top-of-the-line product, and that it was reasonably priced including installation. By the way, *** installed our new opener in the evening before July 4th. We were blown away at this level of service. He hauled off all of the waste materials, inserviced us on the features of the new opener, and paired it with our cars. I highly recommend Mid-South Door.

BBB5I would highly recommend this garage company to anyone in need of quality service. Kudos to Ms. ***** in her professional demeanor in taking my frantic call and reassuring me their company could rescue me from being pinned in my garage. Thank you to ***** , a most knowledgeable and honest technician. I was sure I needed a new garage, but ***** walked and talked me through my garage's current state and reassured me what looked catastrophic could be repaired. He advised me of the minimalist work needed to repair, saving me a significant amount in dollars. Thank You Mid-South Door Company. A very satisfied customer. ****************

Yelp1I thought this was a quite reputable company when I enlisted their help in part of a garage door overhaul project of mine in November of 2020. I replaced the garage motor and installed insulating panels and needed a company to swap my single spring to a double spring. I called Midsouth Door. They came out and installed a new double spring set for 275.00. Upon their leaving, I immediately noticed the springs were horribly over torqued as releasing the garage door from the motor caused it to go flying up the track with relentless force. They had to come out and take almost all of the turns out of the newly installed springs. Flash forward to September of 2022, one of the springs snapped. I called them up as it was under warranty. I was told a warranty call costs 125 dollars. They come out to inspect. Upon inspection, it becomes more clear why the door was flying up the track upon initial install in 2020. The tech explains to me that the tech who installed my original springs gave me springs that were incredibly oversized for the application. That tech was fired for many similar bad judgement calls. So, here is new tech in my garage now telling me that he wants to mismatch spring sizes, essentially to satisfy a warranty call with a minimal effort, right after he got done telling me this situation is pretty flatly on them. In order to have correctly sized, matching springs, the price will now be 225.00, while being under warranty, mind you. Since I am missing time at the office to meet with them, they essentially have me in a stalemate and I have little choice but to have them do the work. 500.00 dollars and two years later, I finally have a set of correctly sized springs. As a parting gift, the tech left his greasy hand prints all over the exterior side of my garage door. Because it started to bug me after he left, on my way into the office I called a competing garage door company. I asked what kind of fee is associated with warranty replacement. I was asked to repeat the question, then immediately laughed at. Was assured they do not bill whatsoever for warranty work. Following the work, since the incompetence is not solely with their field work, they apparently failed to process my credit card payment correctly, and subsequently called me every day after asking for my credit card details again. As I explained to them each time to no avail, the charge was showing as pending on my end and I would do no such thing while it is in pending status because hey they have been incompetent up to this point, why would I expect them to respond with anything short of "its a problem with your credit card company" if I were to be double billed by these geniuses. After about 5 days, the hold dropped from my statement and I reauthorized my credit card for the 225.00 So, when this shoddy work inevitably fails within two years, I will not pursue a warranty call but simply call someone else and be done with Midsouth Door.

Yelp5Our technician arrived promptly this morning, diagnosed the problem, made the repair and tuned up the garage door tracks and reset the stops on the opener. My wife stold me he was courteous and efficient. I would recommend this company to everyone. I had used another company about two years ago when my other door had a problem. Their work was good, but it took two days to get service. I called Mid-South after 4:30 yesterday afternoon and they had a technician here at 8:30 this morning. Great service, great people, & great company.

Yelp5Excellent experience. Quick response. HIGHLY recommended. I've used them for many years (20+). My garage door spring broke over the weekend and I called first thing Monday morning. I was told they could have someone come over in the morning before lunch. I was also given an estimate over the phone of my options based on what I said was not working. The dispatcher called me to let me know the technician was on his way, and she called me again when he arrived at my house. The technician was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional (he was already wearing face protection for COVID). Based on the problem (broken spring), he gave me my options and the costs associated with each and we discussed the parameters of the two options. He fixed the problem in about 30 minutes and it works great.

Yelp5I used Mid-South door to install a new garage door and when I needed some additional maintenance. They sent their Technician Joe. I can honestly say that he is professional, hard-working and knowledgeable. He installed the door and took the time to make sure that the work was done right. He has excellent customer service skills. He asked the right questions to make sure that I received the service/repairs that I requested. So, if you use Mid-South Door, I highly recommend that you request Joe. FIVE STARS. Great Technician!

Yelp5Very pleased with the quick response, courteous expert service and reasonable price for replacing my garage door springs this morning. I had a bad experience with another garage door company a few years ago and all I knew was that I didn't want to call them again. I chose Mid-South Door Company because of the two 5-star reviews on Yelp and I am pleased to recommend them as well based on my experience today. They also solved a problem I was having with my keypad while they were here at no extra charge.

Yelp5Highly recommend! Just moved to Hernando (from Illinois). In the midst of moving in, as luck would have it, our garage door "cable" broke. The door came off track, bent the track. We called a few companies and Mid-South came out next am (first thing). Mid-South would have been here the same day but our home warranty made us wait for their company (who said they couldn't be out for a WEEK!!). They called first thing in the am to advise a tech was on his way. Their service professional was courteous, on-time, very knowledgeable and had the door repaired in under 30 minutes for $113! VERY happy with their service and DEFINITELY recommend calling.

Yelp5I seldom find reasons to brag about the businesses I use for services, but this is the exception. On two different occasions in the last 5 years I have needed service on my garage door. In both instances I called Mid-South Door (most recently on a Sunday evening when I could not get my door to close). The serviceman was polite, interested in my problem and offerred a solution, albeit an expensive one. I chose to wait until Monday morning for the repair and the serviceman showed up as requested quickly fixed the problem and serviced the door to prevent a recurrence of the proble. If you are in need of help with a garage door you would be well served to contact Mid-South Door Company.
