DON"T BOTHER CALLING!!! He doesn't return phone calls!
Wescott installed my new door on 5/16, it included the door hardware, key lock, torsion spring. After 8 months of use, on one side the cable had some slack and unwound. I tried calling Wescott since they installed it, that they should come out and look at it, Now at this point, I am having issues opening the door manually. The front handle is falling off! The key lock screws seemed to be stripped! After a few days of leaving messages with NO RETURN PHONE CALL, I decided to hire another company to come out and fix the problem. Turns out the door was not installed level! Which explains why one side loosened up. They installed the correct handle and they are coming back to fix the stripped screws on the locking mechanism. So let's review:
Professionalism: F
Quality: F
Price: D ( now I say this since the price was good, but the quality of the install is below par)
There are a lot good local companies out there, be careful of this one.
Caveat emptor ( Let the buyer beware). I didn't do enough homework on this one and I paid the price. You shouldn't if you are reading this.
