Angi5The owner, Chris, was very helpful from the first phone call to the last handshake. He was easy to work with and explained everything he was going to do. He has been in the business a long time and really knows his stuff. I was able to provide him info and a photo of the part and he knew exactly what was needed. He was able to work around my schedule and replaced the part in about an hour. Services Rendered: Replaced the belt on a garage door opener.

Angi5Chris is fantastic. He is professional, detailed, courteous, friendly, and an expert in his trade. We got exactly what we wanted! That's because Chris listened to us, took detailed measurements, identified obstructions, explained choices, addressed our insulation questions, and reviewed framing and finish so we would get the look we wanted. His quote was thorough and detailed and exactly what we expected. I opted for an opener that has an app for my phone for remote operation and notifications. He was fully up to date on this - even gave me a demo. Chris clearly takes pride in his work, taking the time to get it right, and making sure we were happy with the result. Can't say enough good. Services Rendered: We needed two old wooden garage doors replaced, one double and one single with the new roll-up type. We had picked out our style of windows and thus manufacturer. We had sun facing doors so insulation was important to us.

Angi5Called Chris at about 10 am explaining the problem with my door that is was very hard to open. I thought I'd have to schedule for sometime the following week, but Chris was able to come out same day. After looking at the garage door it was determined that the original installer (not Chris) had installed to small of a spring. Chris installed two heavy duty springs and the door opened like it was brand new. Will be calling Chris when I'm ready for a new door / upgrade. I highly recommend Huntington Valley Garage Doors. Services Rendered: Installation of new springs on roll up door

Angi5Chris was great! He was professional and very knowledgeable in his trade. He came out for a tune up and roller replacement. The garage had been making noises for the last couple years. Chris quickly evaluated the door and pointed out that it was unbalanced and door opener was working too hard. Chris was able to replace the springs, balance the door, realign the rails, replace the rollers, fine tune the door opener and provided an original remote with one he had in his truck to replace a lost one. Truly a pleasurable experience. Chris is my number one garage door guy! Thanks again for the awesome experience! Angi5Chris was friendly, professional, and very informative. I'm glad I went with his business to repair my garage door. Last night one of the cables on our garage door unspooled and the door became unbalanced and then lodged into the rails. I gave him a call at 8am this morning and he was able to make the drive up to Lakewood to check it out by 11:45am. He assured me the door itself was still in good shape, he just needed to get the door dislodged, replace some hinges and cables, straighten the existing railing, and recommended I replace the springs as they were looking a little worn out. I didn't feel pressured into the spring replacement in any way, but as neither of us knew how old they really were, I decided to go for it since he was already here. He gave me a price that I felt was very reasonable and he immediately went to work. It took him less than an hour and a half to get everything done, and he even replaced some bearing plates at the top of the door that weren't installed properly. The garage door is now straightened out in its rails and opens and closes very smoothly. Chris let me know exactly what he had to do and still stuck to his estimate even with the added bearing plates. I'm very pleased with the service I received from Chris and Huntington Valley Garage Doors and I will gladly call them in the future for tune-ups and more. Services Rendered: Garage door cable came off the spool, making the door unbalanced, which then lodged into the rails at an angle. Needed bent hinges and cables replaced, rails straightened out. Also got springs replaced.
