Ordered the most expensive commercial door they have and was expecting great quality. Instead, i got a piece of foil taped onto the door as an "insulated door". Also, I googled the Hiro Motor vs their cheaper option, and paid more for this option because I wanted the wi-fi control. When I received it it did not have it. I called there multiple times, but they didn't resolve my issue. Pretty much $2800 down the drain. I should have read the reviews on this site before buying.

I am leaving a 1 star review for the delivery department. I ordered 2 roll up doors for my shop. Prices seem great and the ordering process was great. I opted to pick up my 2 doors in Anaheim Ca to save on shipping. When I received an email from Mercedes in the shipping department I asked for a confirmation on my order before I drove 7 hours to pick them up. Mercedes confirmed my doors (2 of them) were in Anaheim. I bought 5 new tires for my trailer for the 14 hour round trip. I took a day off from work to make the trip. When I got to Anaheim, I was informed there was only 1 door to pick up. I was very upset with Metcedes for her lack of attention to my order. I called right away. After some back and forth on the phone, they offered to ship my door to my home in northern California...4 weeks later! I was told delivery would be arranged ahead of time so I could be home. Nope, the driver calls me and said he was an hour away so I had to rush home. In all fairness the doors seem well built and I am pleased with the product. I am very dissatisfied with the delivery end of it. If you decide to buy from this company recheck reverify get confirmation on your delivery or pick up. Mercedes you have alot of room for improvement and customer service.

I placed my order over the phone, supplying the correct measurements, while also supplying a picture with the correct measurements. They require you to sign off on the final order. In my case, measurements in the final order were incorrect. Unfortunately, I approved them - that was my mistake. I don't believe the people taking orders over the phone are knowledgeable enough about doors and how they work. The door was a couple feet too short, something that should have been questioned in my opinion. It was a custom order, over $6000, therefore, they do not accept returns and were in no way helpful about providing a solution to correct it. I requested to purchase an additional panel but they would not sell me one as they did not want to be "responsible for it not matching perfectly"... even though this is MY door and I was willing to take that risk, using my money. So now I am left with a major construction project to redo the stucco in my garage, so that it will properly fit. My issue is that if the person taking the order was competent, she would have been more persistent about ensuring the measurements were correct. The only response I got is that they did not receive my picture of the measurements. I haven't been able to provide that proof, so I am stuck. I just think they could have been more helpful in providing a solution. Refusing to sell me a product so that I could make it fit without spending even more money, A LOT MORE, to totally reconfigure the space would have been at least a little helpful. I do take responsibility for approving the final measurements, even though they were wrong. The only solution they offered was for me to sell it myself to "someone" and repurchase a whole new door. To me, that is not good customer service. If you purchase a door from this company, (they are beautiful doors), please make sure you review your confirmation because they will not accept any returns, and will not assist you in making it work, by refusing to sell you a separate panel that I clearly was willing to take full responsibility for the final appearance. It's sad that they treat their customers this way. So dissatisfied with their refusal to help me make it work, fully aware of the final look.

I purchased their 650 series roll up for my shed (residence). The door quality top notch and the lead time was acceptable considering they are custom made (3 weeks). Their freight service was easy to schedule with, although the delivery window was a bit large 12-5pm, but somewhat expected due to freight delivery. The truck had a lift-gate which made off loading easy. Here are a few things to pass on if your buying one. 1.) The door is crated in a large 4x4 constructed skid with ply-wood and metal sides - in other words, very heavy my door was 8'x7' and skidded, I estimated it weighed close to 300 lbs. Also, the skid length was about 2 feet longer than the door. 2.) Make sure the metal sides of the skid are intact or the hardware package could fall out during shipment (as what happened to me). 3.) IMPORTANT (reason for 4 stars instead of 5): the door is strapped to the bottom of the skid as expected. HOWEVER, the "spring side" of the door bracket is wound and under tension reacting against the skid - DO NOT LIFT THE DOOR OFF THE SKID WITHOUT HAVING THE GUIDERAIL MOUNTED TO THE BRACKET or as I did, use a 15" zip tie to prevent rotation of the bracket (SUGGESTION for supplier to do this, as well as, putting a caution sticker on the bracket in plain view). 4.) I could not swing my door up as shown in video due to a ceiling truss, so I used an electric wench to lift the door up and in followed by attaching the guide rails. Regardless of how you install, this is a two man job especially when it comes time to pretension the door by turning 2 revs - you will need the extra hands to keep it from unwinding while removing the packaging guiding the door into the rails!!!!! 5.) Plan on a 1/2 days work :)

Well I originally ordered a door for my Pole Barn. Called a week later to see about canceling order. Warehouse said it was too late, and that the door would be crated by end of week. Company is saying that it hasn't crated the order or shipped it, and cant cancel? They want to ship a Door from AZ to WA that I wont accept. Door is not special or ODD shaped, but they say they cant sell it because it's "Custom"? They offered to reimburse me $623.00 for a $1,600.00 door. Not acceptable for a door that has not even shipped, and I cant believe that ANY Company would SCRAP a door that can be resold. So as of this writing, the door will sit in their warehouse taking up space. Using LOCAL COMPANIES from now on.

Very happy with the Roll-Up Door website, ordering, fabrication, customer service and delivery processes. From placing the order on the website to delivery; the process only took 2-weeks. I was a little worried that an 18-wheel truck was going to be able to maneuver on our street, but that ended up being a non-issue. The truck driver with the roll-up door arrived about 30-minutes early -- thank you. The truck driver and my husband were able to off-load the 175-lb door and place it on two 4-wheel furniture carts. They rolled the door right into our garage. Awesome!! Roll-Up Doors Direct is an excellent company. We are very happy with the customer service from start to finish. Very well done!
