My garage door broke at 1:30 pm, I called Affordable Garage Door at 2pm. I spoke with Rick. He was professional and provider me with a service quote for my service requested. His tech was at my home doing the repairs at 5pm that same day. The amount he quoted was the amount they charged. At no point did they try to upsale me on anything. The technician was professional and friendly and respected my home. They did a perfect job repairing my garage door. Will us them again for future service needs.

I had Home Depot install a garage door opener that was underpowered and missing some features, so five months later I bought a better one. I have a tall door so had bought the extension, but the Home Depot installer refused to install my new opener unless I also bought a new $70 extension which I refused to do since it was only five months old. So, I hired Affordable to do it. Install went great and the tech just connected the new opener rail to 'old' extension saving time. Install went great. Update: Three months later I found the door halfway open in the middle of the day. Noticed one of the door sensors had shifted on the track, so popped it back in place. Seemed to work, but a couple of days later found the door raised just a bit. So thought there may be a loose/bad wire problem so called Affordable Garage Door to see if they'd come out and take a look. Instead, they told me it was a simple fix and talked me through the sensor alignment process and it seems to have worked this time. Great follow-up service.

I had an emergency in which the garage door on our rental condo went up on it's own the morning a new renter was moving in. I called and got an appointment that same day. Mike came out (was there exactly when he said he would be) and wiped out all the codes from the motor's memory. He reprogrammed our openers and the key pad and then proceeded to not only lube the garage door, but spent about 45 minutes tightening bolds and adding screws to better secure it. I was charged a total of $50 (money incredibly well spent). We are now making Affordable Garage Door Repair part of our normal process before we turn over our rental to a new tenant. I am so impressed with their service, they are extremely knowledgeable and a great value.

I have used this company 3 other times and have receipts with Brandons name on them. This time, I called and said I have a house, tenant occupied and needed what I thought was two springs as it was a 16x7 door. Tech arrived and called and said the cables broke, bearings SEIZED, hinges all loose and it would be $766 but he also recommended new drums, rollers, and hinges for another $649. I knew someone was lying at "cables broke". I said cables broke? He said, well they are frayed. This was plural, cables . He asked what I wanted to do and I said just the springs. He said he can't do it without new cables and bearings. Nope. I drove out saw one wire out of the whole stranded bundle on ONE cable sticking out, ONE out of the hundred or so, and no other problems. Called Adrian at Garage Doors 4 Less and 30 minutes later he was there and replaced the long, 34" single spring, tune up (lubed everything) and checked and adjusted the force and limits on my motor. No cables, bearings, drums, or hinge kit needed. He did say my rubber wheels had shrunk but it was just an fyi, should change. Dead silent when he was done. His cost was the same as what Affordable quoted for springs on the phone but there was no fear selling (lying) to make an extra buck. Receipts included for proof.

The Lord, blessed this man and he saved me hundreds of dollars. He charged me $360.00 to fix my garage door. The first man wanted to charge me $3,000.00 for a brand new garage door. When I wouldn't bend he then offered to fix it for another ridiculous price. Another man wanted to charge me, $704.00. Another man gave me a choice to either fix my door for $1,500.00 or replace my garage door for $2,500.00. I am on fixed income and a senior and Mike with Affordable Garage Door and Opener Repair were wonderful. I highly recommend this company. All he did was put one strut on my door and replaced all of my wheels and tighten everything up for me including my spring. Everyone one else wanted to charge me ridiculous prices. I thank God for people like him and his company for not wanting to gouge people for money. They actually try and save you money.

Don't waste your money on this company. Owner is rude and unprofessional. They came to do tuneups and later said you need new motor for opener. Bla bla years after motor still working. That's about how they know. Don't give them chance to screw you! -1 star

I decided to get a second opinion (so glad I did) and called Affordable Garage Door and Opener Repair. They came out, didnt charge me a trip fee and were honest about what was going on with my door and educated me on what to look for if something is wrong. I appreciate the HONESTY you guys displayed. I will tell everyone who needs garage door repairs to call you guys! They even list their prices on their website!! The other companies wouldnt tell me a price until they came to my house, charged me a trip fee and then gave me a ridiculous quote for things I learned later I didnt even need. I had a tension spring broke on garage door. I was looking for the parts to fix my self. I called and talked to Marcus told me he had the parts. Sent my wife up and Marcus was so helpful and kind to her. He told her to have me call if I had any questions. I called him a couple time while doing the job and he was very nice and helpful. Definitely wanna recommend him. Awesome guy

Excellent company. All the other companies that came out to service my garage opener were not successful and only wanted to replace it at a very over inflated price. Affordable Garage Door came out and had figured out in 15 minutes. Told me how to get the part from the manufacturer and came back out and fixed it within 30 minutes. Mike was honest, very helpful and informative. Can't say enough good things about this company! %100 recommend them !!

So, Sunday my garage door failed. I called SOS and Marcus answered the phone and set me up for Monday! So on Monday morning I asked the Magic 8 Ball if my garage door fix was going to be expensive. YES was the reply. Thanks Magic 8 Ball . Then at the scheduled time Magic Mike arrives and evaluates my broken garage door. His astute diagnosis was a simple fix. His calm demeanor put my super stressed and scattered mind at ease. He took care of the fix and maintenance the remainder of the garage. His professional, easygoing personality and exacting attention to detail was a great asset to the company! I have worked with this company since 2018 and always great service. Thank you all. Oh, and the Magic 8 Ball, well, it was a very fair price.

I called at 5:00 pm on Saturday in desperate need of help. The spring to my garage door broke, so I was unable to open the garage door, and my car was inside. I am a single mom and care for my elderly parents. I really needed help. Rick the owner and his son were at my house an hour or so later! My door was in rough shape, and I know that being in a desperate state someone could have taken advantage and tried to force me to purchase a whole new system. Rick was honest & kind. He worked to repair the damage and replace only the parts that weren't working. I paid less than 1/2 of what others would have charged. He did a great job, but more importantly he did business with integrity. I am so grateful that Rick helped me...on a Saturday night! This is my first and will be the only garage company that I will ever use.

I was in need of an emergency repair on a Saturday night. The spring broke and my car was trapped inside. I did not even have the ability to manually open the garage door. The owner **** was out to my house in a hour! He could have forced me into buying a new door (I had damaged mine by trying to force it open) like many companies would do, trying to make money. He gave me choices and told me he get like he could fix it without needing to replace it. You dont see that kind of honesty and integrity in business everyday. ************ (and sounds) better than ever! I give this business an A+++ I will only use and refer this company for garage doors/repair in the future!
