Google1Lock malfunctioning on both doors. Car getting trapped! Called for appt. Said they knew what the problem was and would order parts. Two weeks later, called to check progress, still no parts. Called in 30 days, still no parts, no idea when they'd arrive. They never made any update call to us, no idea when they would have parts, or even IF parts no longer available so we could move on. Employees got progressively more rude. Done! Don't go here. Waste of time. We went elsewhere.

Google1The worst service! They installed my garage door with multiple colored panels and thought that would be ok! It took a full year to get them to correct it and then they gave me a second instillation bill. Avoid this company.

Google1Slack no-showed for two install appointments, on consecutive days. Both times, it was clearly due to a complete lack of organization. No attempt was made to contact the customer, and no apologies were even given when I called to figure out where they were. I asked the owner to call me, and he never did. Horribly unprofessional, and not worth your time! Online reviews make it clear this extends to post-install problems, when they won't return calls.

Google5I bought my two new garage doors through Costco. And, Costco uses Slack Overhead Door company as one of their trusted contractors. I could not be happier with this company. They pay attention to every detail of the job and when they were done cleaned up every paint chip that fell off of my 40 year old garage doors that they hauled away. I am very impressed with the fit, finish and operation of my new garage doors and highly recommend these TRUE PROFESSIONALS.

Google1Called Slack for a service call on a garage opener they installed. They were polite enough on the phone and scheduled a technician to stop and check out the malfunction. Was told parts needed ordered. 2 weeks later I called again asking for a status update and was told oh yeah parts were ordered and I'd be called as soon as they came in. More than 2 weeks later I called and cancelled the service request. Come on folks, it doesn't take more than a month to order and receive parts.

Google1Terrible experience. The door leaks when it rains. This is a brand new door on a brand new construction detached garage. They no longer return my calls and have not offered a solution or anything. The last guy to come out and take a look was rude on the phone and blamed it on the concrete. The garage and concrete were done before they even came out to quote the job. Would not recommend!

Google5A great company, with great products and employees! They replaced our garage door opener of 25 years within an hour. The installers were very friendly and no mess left behind. The instructions on use were very clear! We highly recommend Slack Overhead Doors!
