Google5Wow, we were so impressed with Mike we wanted to leave a review right away. He was friendly and clearly knew what he was doing. He was able to pinpoint the issue within seconds and got the job done quickly. We almost went with another company that quoted us almost 10x the price so were extremely glad we found Dave's Garage Doors instead. Highly recommend this company (& Mike) for your garage maintenance needs!

Google5Great Service & Response time. Easy to book the appointment online and enough availability so your not stuck waiting weeks for an appointment. Staffan was super knowledgeable and talked through all the best options for our repair and even how it could impact towards the eventual replacement we're planning for. Very straightforward and reliable and would definitely use them again.

Google5Zeb was very prompt - here even before I received the text saying who was coming. He was informative and then let me make the decision as to what I wanted to do. He completed the work promptly and then showed me how all the new equipment worked. He was friendly, personable and helpful.

Google5Stopped by the showroom at 8am to get a part I thought I needed to repair my garage door and the general manager actually diagnosed my problem just from my explanation. Had the technician at my house by 930am same day. Stephan was knowledgeable, friendly and very courteous to my property and me. After repairing the broken garage torsion springs, they did a tune up on both garage doors for free. Honestly, these are the kinds of people you want working on your home. Great humans, great service, price is fair, garage doors work like a charm and are whisper quiet all with a 2 year warranty. A++

Google5Other reviews are on point; great experience from initial phone call to book, through the actual service and installation. Nate did a great job assessing our old opener (fried by a PGE voltage spike), verifying the condition of our door, walking me through our various options, and ultimately installing an astoundingly quiet opener. Very happy we called Dave's!

Google5Called Dave's who were not the door installer as well as the last repair Company I used. They are a local Company which I always feel better spending money with. Staffan clearly explained to me the options I had and I decided to do the full overhaul for what was of little difference in price to just replacing the torsion springs. The door has never operated better. It's quite and does not seem to have to work as hard as it had done. Quality work by a great technician.

Yelp2Garage door upon closing making loud noise and not closing properly. We were able to schedule in a timely manner. Technician arrived on time. He found nothing wrong and lubed everything. He also checked out our other functioning garage door and found nothing wrong. So upon receiving a bill for 249.00 for not fixing problem..it was disappointing. What we wish is he had been up front with charges. We assumed there would be a visit charge...but 249.00 for less than an hour of work. Final note: next day, the garage door we had called about was having the very same problem

Yelp1Dave's was my Garage Door Service. On Sunday at 4 pm my door came off the rails in the open position. I called Dave and found Dave doesn't provide service on Sunday. I left a message to call me soonest of call on Monday. I found that there was plenty of other companies that provided Sunday service for same weekday rates and any time. Precision Garage Door came out that night at 7 PM and put the door back operational as advertised. At this writing Tuesday NO call back from Dave's. All the great service they had provided in the past is now lost in one fell swoop, hello Precision.

Google5The preliminary inspection seemed thorough and the technician said that they were sending the needed items list to the home warranty company. He was quick and spot on. Drew Houck is a very polite and courteous technician, his work was done with a knowledge of his job, excellent quality and done in less time than I expected. I will be recommending Dave's Garage Doors to my family, friends and neighbors. We are very pleased to say the least.

Google5Stefan did a wonderful job installing new springs on a very old garage door,. fixed a broken chain, replaced the rollers for the door and installed A rubber "sweep" at the bottom of my garage door ! He was very wuick And completed the job perfectly. My garage door has never worked better. I would recommend this company to anyone who would like great service.Cheers-Jeff

Yelp5I had something wrong with one of my garage doors and Mike was assigned to come take a look. He was fantastic. He asked if he could come early (absolutely!), texted to let me know when he was on his way, and was extremely polite and professional. He diagnosed my issue within a few minutes, and helped me to understand what was going on and how to trouble shoot. He had me up and operational in no time! Mike didn't try to upsell me or push services I didn't need. He also just seemed like a great guy! He was positive, jovial, and had a constant smile - he really seemed to enjoy his work. I highly recommend!

Yelp1Daves was to show up by 1:00pm-2:00pm they showed up at 12:16. I was on a walk less than a mile away .They texted me that they were early. I stated I would come right back home .. I walked back and they had left 12:31 ... I have several texts that show this. Now they are trying to charge a no show fee of $149.95. I refuse to pay this and I would like an apology. This has been an EXTREME inconvenience and they are NOT telling the truth.

Yelp4have used this service before and was not pleased. called again with an issue, a door that failed after repair just before COVID. Prompt service, competent tech. Was surprised when I was told opener was foreign and they wanted to swap out for 'industry standare parts'. as I needed the door repaired, I agreed. cost was more than expected when apparently a spring broke.

Yelp5Dave's Garage Doors is my ONLY go-to garage door & opener company. I've used their services several times and have been extremely pleased in each case. The people in the office with whom I spoke over the phone were knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. Technician Scott Whisenant came out today, and I can't praise him enough. He inspected my garage door and opener, discussed their age/condition with me, and--at my request-- installed some new parts and a new, "smart" opener. He was very clear in his explanations, programmed my car to work with the new opener, and helped me set up the myQ "smart" app. Thank you, Scott; I will never call anyone but Dave's Garage Doors when I need expert help!
