Overhead Door installed security gates at the Architectural Heritage Center when we were having issues with the homeless camped in front of our building. Alexander French, the project coordinator, went out of his way to make sure everything was done right. He came out and did a site visit and was always available to patiently answer our many, many questions and changes prior to placing the order. The installers, Manuel & Roberto, went above and beyond the call of duty with on-the-spot custom fabrication to make sure the gates could be attached cleanly to our historic building. The communication and professionalism of Alexander & this company is awesome! I recommend them highly. 5 stars!

I am pleased with Overhead Door of Portland and their exceptional installation of a new garage door. From start to finish, the experience was flawless. The team's professionalism and expertise were evident throughout the process, ensuring a smooth installation. What truly stands out, though, is the incredible quietness of the new garage door. It's remarkably hushed, and I often find myself checking to see if it's actually in motion. This level of silence has transformed my garage space into a peaceful oasis. This father/son owned local company does amazing work! I had a tech out to perform some service on my 40+ year old electric garage door. The property is becoming a rental and the door was not installed with safety laser sensors or an exterior key pad entry. They made a great recommendation on a new motor, installed the safety laser sensors and an exterior key pad, and replaced several of the failing / aged brackets on the door itself. In addition to making the door safe / secure, they have prolonged its useful life as well! Will definitely use them for ANYTHING garage door related in the future!

We recently had two garage door openers installed by Overhead Door. The serviceman Deric was on time and professional. He walked us through how the new system works and how to use the Wifi settings. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

I love my new garage door! My house was built in the late 1930s so the opening isn't perfectly square. The technicians had an eye for detail and made sure that the door looked good and functioned perfectly even though they had to do some extra adjustments to make it work well with my garage. The new windows look great and add a lot of light during the day. I am so happy with the final result!

They were great and easy to work with from start to finish and the door really looks fantastic with the look we were going for with our home. Most importantly, it also operates perfectly. Not well. After booking a very large window for service (5 hours), the technician did not show up within the time and did not check in with an ETA, even though I had called the office several times to check on status. Ultimately, I took a day off of work to be present for a service that was never delivered. Very disappointing and also just rude not to let me know what was going on. Services Rendered: Rebalancing of garage door.

They saw that the springs i needed replacing were done by them before and covered under a Warranty saving me money. They came earlier than they said they would. They had a cancellation so I was really surprised that they came as soon as they did. I would shop compare in the future but I would probably go with them. Services Rendered: They were good. I have not idea what comparable prices were. I called 2 or 3 places, and what I called for, turned out to be way more than what I thought was wrong. I really don't know, I can't compare prices. I was just going by one little thing that broke and it turned that there was a lot more that went on. So I don't have any way to compare with another company.

Very rude and unprofessional on all levels from receptionist to service man to service manager. Services Rendered: After my mother forgot to meet them at an appointed time to get an estimate at our rental house, we apologized and rescheduled. They left her sitting waiting for over an hour. When I called, their receptionist was rude. The service manager called my mother and told her it would be another half hour before anyone would show up and chastised her for forgetting the first appointment. Extremely rude and unprofessional. Will never use them again nor recommend them to anyone else!

Great, I called on Friday and got an appointment scheduled for the following Monday. The installer was a little early which worked great for my schedule. He installed the unit and cleaned up after he was done. The unit works great. Services Rendered: Replacement of garage door opener

David did a great job. I thought we had a problem with our Master Spring but he determined that the spring was fine and did not need to be replaced. He suggested some maintenance work be done. He moved and lubed a couple of roller mounts, secured the garage door motor more securely, added rubber padding to the bottom of the door on both sides to make it seal properly and adjusted the tension on the spring to make the door move up and down more easily. Took about an hour and well worth it. Services Rendered: Examined door spring which he determined was good and did not need to be replaced. Did a General Maitenance on the door.
