Yelp1Charged me $85 for an estimate, made a receipt said for service..no service..took over a week to give an estimate. Do not use.They are scamers!

Google5Had Trey from F&J out yesterday to help diagnosis and provide services for a home recently moved into. He was very professional, knowledgeable and provided options to fix the issue then promptly went to work to finish the job we agreed to. Pricing was reasonable for the services provided. Trey is a good representative for this company. Thanks Trey.

Google5Garage door wouldn't open. Saw that one of the springs was broken. Contacted the "first" repair business on the list. Had to go through all the "press 1 for this, press 2 for that, TWICE". Didn't feel right about their quotes starting at $550, then $850, then $1150. Called F&J, spoke with Jessica. She could send a repair person that afternoon. Quote $455. Trey come out with a well stocked truck and replaced my springs, aligned the door and set the travel better than I had it. F&J is great, Trey is great. Stay away from that first business on the list.

Google5Contacted F&J because the garage door wouldn't open. They sent Trey Eyerich and he checked it all out and found that I needed to replace the opener. I contacted my home warranty company and they gave me two names of garage door repair companies; one of which was F&J. They allowed me to choose F&J and I was able to have Trey as my technician. He did an excellent job replacing the opener, serviced the door and made sure the springs were tightened properly. Trey is excellent and efficient at what he does.

Yelp5What great service! On Sunday of Labor Day weekend my garage door would not open. Fortunately I didn't have any place I had to be. After some research, I messaged F&J on Monday, Labor Day. I had a response within a couple hours, even on a holiday! They were very accommodating in scheduling me for the next day. Fernando contacted me saying he could arrive earlier and I was happy to see him as soon as possible. He immediately pointed out the broken spring and within an hour the door was back up & running. He also gave me a general inspection & evaluation of the entire door which I appreciated. I appreciate the fair, honest service without any upsale pressure.

Google5Our garage door main spring broke hours before a safe mover was coming to move a safe from our garage. The tech showed up before the safe movers and promptly fixed the main spring so the garage door would operate. He was polite, professional and accepting to wear a face covering to protect his customer. F&J will be our go to company for all things garage door!

Google5My garage door would not open and I needed to get out of my garage for a 6:30pm appointment. I called F&J's and immediately Jessica helped troubleshoot over the phone. She determined very quickly that it was the spring that broke. She gave me a straightforward quote and offered to squeeze me in within 3-5pm that day! Well, Jessica called at 2:30pm and said they'd be there in about 10 min! Very courteous to give a heads up call and super speedy service all around. They were in an out within 30 minutes from start to finish and even lubed up all the hinges, parts, etc. Gave me a quote for a new opener should I need to upgrade (which I totally do). I was able to make my appointment with PLENTY of time to spare. Totally settled my anxiety. If I would have wasted time calling other companies, I guarantee they either wouldn't have been open or wouldn't have been able to squeeze me in on the same day! I will only use F&J's for my garage door needs from now on. I had them put their sticker on my door and they removed my old one which was out of business. Thank you so very much. You guys are lifesavers!

Google1I built a detached garage and specifically built it to fit a garage door on a guest house garage next to it. When it came time to move the door to the new garage, I called F&J for an estimate. The estimator came out, took measurements and told me the existing door assembly could not be moved to the new location. He said if I wanted to keep the door, the motor drive would have to be a different model and type. If I wanted to use the existing motor drive, I would have to buy a new door and the existing door, with its panels riveted together, would have to be taken apart and reassembled. When I suggested otherwise, he informed me that he had been in the business for 16 years and knew what he was doing. He was to give me bids for each of the options. Ten days later, the bids were still not in. When I called about that, the bids were sent the next day, $1,345 for one option, $2003 for the other. I moved the door myself, not having to take it apart, but simply strapping the vertical components, door and rails, together and moving it as a unit. I had never even worked on a garage door previously, but had no trouble reinstalling the entire assembly, without alteration, at the new location. It fit perfectly and was one of the easiest jobs I ever did. Readers can make their own judgement, but mine is that F&J wanted to turn an easy, inexpensive job into a very expensive one and thought this owner wouldn't know the difference.

Yelp5F& J is the best Garage Door Company around. They set the appointment, were on time, analyzed the situation, provided a fair price, and the work was excellent. Fernando is a Master at his trade and Jessica runs the office and keeps you informed all along the way. I would recommend F&J for anything that has to do with garage doors. The best by far!

Yelp5F&J just replaced the 20-year old Genie opener with a Lift Master. The office called earlier this morning to provide an updated estimate of arrival (early, how often does that happen?). Ryan, the technician, also called me when was 20 minutes away. He arrived at 11:50 AM and finished at 1:05 PM. Talk about organized--not a wasted motion. Ryan tested the hand-held remotes and the outdoor, wall-mounted, remote. Everything works great! Thank you!

Yelp5Wow i had a garage door failure on a holiday weekend i called a few of the known guys here in the prescott area tgey had noone on call but could look on tuesday this company within 2 hours of my call trey had shown up diagnosed the garage door and it was fixed price was reasonable i was expecting a few hundred more at the mercy of the holiday weekend and all. yes i would recommend this company. trey was awesome very professional keep up the good work guys and thank you
