Google5I am so pleased with the responsiveness of Overhead Door, initially to inspect the problem with my garage door that Arive Homes would not even respond to the warranty claim. Brandon was professional and suggested a fairly easy solution. After refusal by Arive Homes to fix their framing mistake I had Brandon fix it at my expense. He was polite and did not place blame but fixed the problem within a couple of days. I highly recommend this company.

Google5I have a 9' heavy insulated garage door. One of the torsion springs broke....it lasted 18 years so I guess I can't complain right? Anyways, I checked Amazon & Ebay. I called several big YouTube garage door sellers & nobody had my exact dimension/spec of spring in stock. I called numerous local garage door Company's & most would not sell me parts (& wouldn't divulge whether they even had my spec of spring). They required I hire them to do the install before even telling me if they even had my spring to install! No thanks. A couple places told me if it wasn't in stock it could take 2-4 weeks?? Anyhow, based on all my calls/shopping/specs I knew the springs would not be cheap & I could handle the install myself so I didn't want to pay to have it installed on top of replacing both springs. (Given the age of the other spring I decided to replace both while I had it disassembled) Anyways, after numerous calls to other garage door places I called Overhead Door of Utah Valley. I told their receptionist the specs of my torsion spring & she said her guys were at lunch but she would check with them when they got back & see if they had my spec of torsion springs in stock. In the meantime I kept calling other vendors but still nobody had my spring in stock. Sure enough though, the receptionist called me back in about an hour or so & told me they didn't have the *exact* spring (they had the .207 & 2" diameter I needed but their spring was longer than I needed). So, she tells me they would custom cut those springs to the proper length for me! I immediately drove down to their store in Orem. The receptionist led me out to the shop & asked the guys for my special order springs. The torsion springs were cut, shrink-wrapped, labeled, & ready to go! One of the guys from the shop even carried them out & put them in my vehicle for me! Great follow-up & customer service by the receptionist! The shop guys were fast cutting my custom springs & helpful carrying it out to my vehicle. Thanks! I highly recommend Overhead Door!!

Yelp1We were told there wouldn't be a charge to reset our garage keypad. The individual who helped us was great! Our garage keypad was was supposed to be under warranty with our builder. However, then a lady from the office called us a few days later and charged us $85 to have the keypad reset, which took about two minutes. I even explained this to her and she didn't waive the fee. Bummer and put a very poor taste in our mouth. Won't use them again because of it!

Google5We needed a some panels replaced on one of our garage doors. Our home is 16+ years old, but Dave in St. George said he would do some research to see if we could still get the matching panels. Dave called me back and said it was possible so we ordered them. This was more than 6 months ago, but that was supply chain issues and nothing to do with Dave. Eventually they came and today they replaced my garage door. They lubricated everything, changed the rollers and made sure everything was working perfectly. It matches my other garage door perfectly and I am very happy. Dave was great to help me out and stay in contact with me to keep me in the loop. I would highly recommend Overhead Door because they are professional with a fair price. Give them a call!

Yelp1My experience with this company has been nothing short of a nightmare. I started down this path in June and it finally completed in October. This has been filled with no communication, missed deadlines, wrong garage doors, repair work, lied about showing up to my house to repair. I will outline the fun this has been. June 24th - Contacted Chad at OD of Utah ValleyJune 25th - Signed the contract and paid my 50% deposit. Was told the timeline would be 3-4 weeks from then. July 6th - Emailed Chad asking if everything was still on track. Received a response back that it will be 2 weeks before he sees them. (He didn't even check, just wrote me that to end the convo). July 27th - Emailed again - 2.5 weeks passed my last email. He responded by saying there was a backorder on my door. I would have never known about this if I did not reach out. This makes me believe that he never checked when he said two weeks and he wasn't planning on telling me there was a delay. He said he would check with the factory and get back to me. July 28th - Emailed Chad, No Response. I then got a response saying that a tech will be out there on August 7th. Aug 7th - They installed the doors but they are the WRONG DOORS and look absolutely silly. I had people comment on them and the installer told me "This happens way too often" and apologized and left. I text the sales rep, Chad, and instead of an apology just said "send pic". Then texted the owner and he blamed covid. I texted a few times back and forth and we decided to wait till Monday and see the fix. August 10th - Was told by the installer he was going to swing by and fix it. He then texts me later in the day that he wasn't feeling well and someone will come out tomorrow. August 11th - I called the office - They did not have me on the schedule and promised me that they would take care of me tomorrow. At this point, the sales rep is now ignoring my calls and text messages. August 12th - Called the office several times in the morning. I was NOT on the schedule. Finally got a call from the service manager and he was very nice. But he was not even aware of my issues. He wanted to see if I could wait another day but I did not trust the company. So they made it happen on the 12th. A short while after the fix. There were some issues with the door. I let the office know and someone would get back to me. September 16th - Their accounting team emails and asks for payment. I told them I will pay the balance when my door is fixed. I got a call shortly after and said I will get a call back to schedule my warranty repair work. No one called. October 9th - Their accounting emails me and asks for payment.(She is really nice). I let them know that no one showed up. She then told me that a tech signed a warranty work order for my place. I have a dozen cameras around my house and I was not even home. No one showed up. October 12th - Techs showed up and fixed the door. One door was out of balance and the other door was not set in right and had a wheel not even on the track. I then paid 2 days later since it was finally fixed. 109 days later... TL: DR - This whole process was a joke, no one took responsibility. So much of this could have been fixed with better accountability and communication.

Google5I called Friday to get a quote, they said they could have someone come look at it and send us a quote by Monday and we had the door replaced today (Thursday) they were super nice and good about working with our schedule. Steve was super nice and professional! He came when he said he was going to and did a phenomenal job! We're super impressed. They have amazing prices and charged exactly what we were quoted and made it super easy to pay. I was super impressed with everyone I've spoke to and dealt with. We will be using them in the future! Highly recommend this company.

Yelp5This company is amazing. On Sunday (the day before MLK) my garage door completely came off of its track and would not close nor open. I had to call A+ garage services because they were one of the few that was open 24 hrs. After the rep from A+ repaired he played a huge scare tactic on me and said I needed to replace the entire thing: the motor and the garage door and quoted me a $2,300 price. He said it was one of their cheaper prices. Fortunately, I shopped around and came across Overhead Door. Their service reps came down and said, that this could easily be repaired and advised 100% against getting a new door and a new motor. They told me my door was slightly dinged up but that was the worst of it. All-in-all, it cost me $90.00 to fix everything...NOT $2300! They fixed it, provided awesome service and most importantly they took a consultative approach rather than a cheap scare tactic. The rep I worked with was Steve Nibler. He's rad! THANKS A TON OVERHEAD DOOR!!

Google5My experience with Overhead Door of Utah Valley was the best. Steve was outstanding to work with. He kept me updated by text throughout the entire process. I had no questions about when he would be there and what to expect. He did a superb job. There were so many great options for new garage doors. The garage door and opener we chose fit nicely within our budget. We love how quiet and smooth they work. We are very pleased with every aspect of our experience. Even the scheduler I spoke with in the beginning was professional and great to work with. I called on Tuesday. Wednesday, Steve came out to evaluate and offer a solution. He put the order in and we had our door up Friday afternoon. I highly recommend Overhead Door of Utah Valley.

Yelp5I had a terrible ordeal with ordering a standard garage door through Home Depot. Overhead Doors of Utah Valley saved me! They built me a custom, beautiful faux garage door. It has been 18 months since they installed it and EVERY single time I drive up to my garage I think I am SO glad I spent that money on my custom door-it is GORGEOUS! The service was good, installation great and overall a great experience. Very grateful for their beautiful work that I would take the time to write this review a year and a half later!

Google5Kim and his team at Overhead Door of Utah Valley were fabulous. I had ordered a garage door through somewhere else and it was very disappointing. So I worked with Kim and he was able to show me their expansive line and custom options. I cant tell you how THRILLED I was when it was installed. It is absolutely gorgeous! I researched many companies to look at a faux wood garage door and by far they make the BEST wood look alike-for a fraction of a cost and much less maintenance! I am very pleased and would highly recommend them.

Yelp4Who says a garage doors has have drab color and be made out of aluminum or other flimsy materials? Vidor, on the other hand, brings forth options that, in look and in quality, put most people's garage doors (including my own) to shame. I mean, the wood options are so cool. I am personally drawn to the Steel Carriage House door designs, made of a composite material, with several different design and placement options available. Vidor has an "Authentic Wood Collection" that is made to a customer's specifications and wood type. The reason Vidor is comfortable with different woods is they have their own finishes that are made to stand the wear-and-tear a garage door will experience. If you don't want have a wood preference, Vidor has some cool designs and synthetic blend options. They also bring a great selection of "designer steel" doors. They have 8 different patterns. You can choose almost any color you want, give it that wood look with a stain finish, and have a cool metallic finish (Metallic Steel, Copper Patina, Aged Copper, or Metallic Steel. I got great service from them as well. If I get a new door with them, I'll feel comfortable that Vidor will be there every step of the way. While EXPENSIVE, I love their doors ... and the variety available. Open sesame!

Yelp5Everything was great from ordering to delivery. The recent wind storm pushed our garbage can into our garage and ruined 4 out of the 5 panels. I called and ordered new panels and had them delivered. I installed the panels myself and everything went very well. I would recommend Overhead Door or Utah Valley. They were very professional from start to finish.

Yelp5Excellent service. Loved that they kept me updated on when they would arrive. Nothing is worse than waiting for a repair but they actually came early and called to make sure that was OK. They were also good about teaching me maintenance and gave honest advice and pricing. Thanks!

Yelp5Our garage door wouldn't open in the midst of the winter and my roommates and I weren't happy about it since we have 4 cars and need all the parking we can get! Once the people we rent from got in touch with Overhead Door of Utah Valley, they called me quickly, set up an appointment to come see our door within 2 days and fixed it that day! Thank you so much for being so quick and efficient to help us out! You guys are the best!
