Angi5After my youngest discovered backing out through a closed garage door doesn't go well, Louis came out promptly and determined the minimum number of parts he would need to replace. It took awhile for the parts to come in - not his fault - but as soon as they arrived he was right out. The repair is excellent; the new panels match exactly; the price was very reasonable. Services Rendered: Repair garage door

Angi5Louis returned my call right away and we set up a time for him to come out. He was on time and took care of the job quickly. He does excellent work and always goes above and beyond what is expected. I highly recommend him. Services Rendered: Louis installed our garage door opener about 5 years ago. Had him come out and give the door and opener a tune up to keep them in good working order. Also had him check a problem with the lights on the opener that recently developed.

Angi5Better than I could have even hoped. Services Rendered: The cable in our 20 year old garage doors broke. We called Louis and he was very prompt to get to our home. He was able to repair the garage door that day for what we felt like was an excellent price. I am also a realtor in the area and now refer Louis to anyone that needs any garage door repair, adjusting tension on door for safety reasons, installing eye for safety reasons, etc.

Angi5Great! It seemed that some rodents chewed through the wires. Louis is thorough and thoughtful. He always explains what he is doing. Services Rendered: The sensors were not working.

Angi5The job took longer than he originally planned due to the complexity but the wirk was exceptional! Services Rendered: Replacement parts, and new garage door opener, new spring, wires, etc.

Angi5Over the phone, Louis suggested what I should do to fix the problem, but since the garage door was overdue for routine maintenance, and I had already tried his suggested solution, I asked him to come out. He showed me why my attempt to line up the sensor lights had not fixed the problem, proceeded to fix it, and then showed me how to lubricate the door (the required maintenance). He did not want to accept any payment at all for what he did, but finally said $20, which I gladly paid him. He refused to accept anything more. Louis is the sort of tradesman who restores one's faith not only in tradesmen but in humanity itself. Services Rendered: Our garage door was stopping and reversing when open and the remote was placed to close it.

Angi5It was an emergency situation and he responded immediately. Rather than replace the entire door, he worked diligently to repair the door instead. It took a lot of effort and sweat but he did it! Was most appreciative. Then we had a second problem with the opener at my other house, which required a new motor. The assistant came back the next day to install it after picking up the motor in Raleigh. It works flawlessly, so no qualms with the quality, but the assistant's professionalism left a lot to be desired. Too off-the-cuff and lackadaisical for our taste. And women do NOT like to be called "honey" and "darling!" It's 2016 for Pete's sake - we don't need to be talked down to like children or worse, powerless females. Sorry if I sound a little angry, but this gets old with repair men (yes, only with men). The other issue was that the assistant refused to do the simple connection to the HomeLink button inside the car (our previous garage door folks did this with a smile - for four cars!). Instead, he crept away without even saying "goodbye." Turns out that the LiftMaster system requires a special "repeater" from Home Link...seems like a garage pro would know this. Maybe my expectations were too high. I am willing to let this go, but it did cost me an additional $27 on Amazon and several days waiting. The assistant did program the garage door remotes correctly, so that was helpful. All in all a good experience especially since our former garage door people didn't even have the courtesy to call us back when we called the emergency number. I will use Louis again, but hope we get the owner not the assistant. By the way - the price was for TWO garage repairs--so each one was about $450 or so. Services Rendered: Garage door nearly fell apart at house we had bought just three weeks earlier! I called at 7:30 am and Louis knew the seriousness of the situation immediately. He and his assistant were on their way like lightning. We also had another garage door opener that was grinding away and needed repair or replacement. When it rains....

Angi4They fixed it and I had to call them up to do it again. They did not fix it right; they had to come back. I would say the price was okay. They were very responsive and very professional. Services Rendered: There was a wire that was broken that they fixed and they just kind of adjusted the other door.

Angi5Louis was very responsive to our calls and kept us very well informed of the process of when he was going to be there, what our options were and when he expected to be finished. His prices were reasonable, the job was done quickly and the cleanup was complete. Services Rendered: Garage Door Replacement
