HWS homes is one of the worst purchases you'll ever make. They confuse your order with other orders purchased creating long leadtimes with very frustrating results. This company is also extremely rude. If you have any questions regarding your purchase. I would stay clear of HWS homes. They are beware.

Buyer Beware: HWS builds deficient garages and does not take responsibility for their work blaming building inspectors for not catching deficiencies. I have purchased a home with a detached garage built in 2002 that floods during storms. The garage builder (HWS) built this garage so that the concrete slab floor slants TOWARDS the rear stairwell instead of away in which most experienced garage builders do. Furthermore my home insurance company refuses to insure the roof of this detached garage since it was improperly installed. Ladders Now (insurance inspector) and Baker Roofing (roofing vendor) identified the following deficiencies: Roof racking incorrect, ridge vent installed improperly and shingles shorted likely resulting in premature leaking. In this case the builder saved $80 in materials but this 16-year reroof for 30-year shingles is going to cost me over $4,000!
