Google5My twenty-two year old garage door opener was functioning improperly. I called Rolydoor on Thursday, January 27, 2024 at 3pm. Tom came out to look at it on Friday, January 28, 2024 around 2pm. He listened to my description of the problem and he determined that a plastic sprocket that engages with the drive chain had a badly worn tooth. Here is where the story goes from good to great. Tom serviced the door, without charge, before I made any agreement on payment. I call this value added and go faith service. He lubricated every hinge, the cables the springs and the bearings outside the cables He showed me how to do this also. Then he tightened both springs. He also explained that I don't need to lubricate the tracks or the chain. All this before any discussion of payment! He gave me the option of replacing the damaged sprocket for around $300 or installing a new door opener for $550. I felt at ease and not the least bit pressured to make my choice freely. I chose to purchase a new opener from Rolydoor. BTW Rolydoor installed the original opener in December of 2001. On Monday, January 29, 2024 Tom returned on time as scheduled. He replaced the door opener with a new one and educated me how to operate it. He was patient with me while I asked questions and his answers were prompt and courteous. He has 40+ years of experience in garage door repairs and replacement. I am only allowed to award five stars even though Tom earned ten .

Google5We are grateful for a prompt response to our problem with our Rolydoor. The technical person made the correct diagnosis and explained what the company would do to rectify the problem. Communication was excellent throughout the process. Very satisfied customer. I would trust Roly to stand behind their products.

Google5Roly-Door was able to get me an appointment a few days after I called to get my garage door fixed. The technician that came to my home was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The price I was charged seemed fair. I would recommend using Roly-Door.

Google5My garage door stopped working on a Friday afternoon. They scheduled and came out Monday morning - which was as soon as I could have hoped for. Our technician, Tom, was very pleasant, extremely knowledgeable and actually "taught us" a few things about maintenance & upkeep of a garage door/opener. The fix was a pretty simple one, but he also lubed everything and made a few adjustments to hardware based on what he was seeing & hearing, plus took the time to show us how to do those simple maintenance items and how often (this is our first house with a garage door opener), It was a pleasant experience and we were so glad it was a simple, affordable fix that he didn't try to upsell anything we didn't need. He even showed us how to change the rollers as they would be needing that soon, so we can do it ourselves. I would definitely recommend Roly Door and especially Tom who has been in the business for 40+ years.

Google1My spring broke on my garage door. I called roly-door and they scheduled a time to replace it. On 7/27/2022 The guy showed up early and did not call to say he was on his was as I was told he would. I asked him a question, he ignored me, so I asked him again thinking he didn't hear me, he said In a rude tone "I heard you , I just don't answer questions or talk when I'm working'. So I kept quiet. about 7 minutes later he seemed as if he was having a problem with the door, he asked me 2 questions back to back while he was still working on my door. My reply was " your company installed the door, call them and ask them" and YES I said it in a rude tone, just as he did me when I asked him a question. Learn to treat people with respect, a little kindness goes along way. And if your unhappy with your job, find a new one, but you probable won't last long if keep talking to customers the way you did me.

Google5These guys are great. One of my door springs broke a month ago. A repair technician arrived within 90 minutes of my call to apply a band aid until the new spring parts arrive. No charge for call. The final repair was made today. The technician gave extra time and attention to ensure that the door operated perfectly. Great communication throughout. Highly recommended!

Google5The gear kit broke off my garage door opener and the chain was loose. Roly-Door was recommended to me by two people. I called Wednesday morning and scheduled an appointment. Joe arrived early Friday afternoon and was done within an hour. Very pleased with his work. Would recommend to anyone locally with issues with their garage door openers!

Google2Terrible experience. We called one month ago that our garage door does not work. A person came two days later. Didn't do anything. Looked at the door and said that our board is burned and we either get a new board for $100 or replace the whole opener. They didn't have it in the truck and need to order it. I was surprised that he could make this determination within 2 minutes without even taking a ladder and looking at the garage opener. I asked how long it will take for a new part to arrive he said less than a week. After 10 days I called and they didn't know what I am talking about. Finally they found my account and that said the part will arrive in a week after the Labor Day. Three weeks later I call again. They say that they don't have the part, they have no idea when it will arrive because they order it from Mexico and it cane take months, they don't have any estimate. So after suffering for one month without working, I called any other company. They came within one hour, fixed the door within 15 minutes. No new board was needed in the first place and we just wasted one month. When I called to tell Roly-Door that there is no need of their service they wanted to charge me $90 for the service call. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because they rudely cancelled this request and told me not to call them ever again. They didn't even allow me to talk and to explain them that the board was not needed and that their technician was wrong to waste one month of our time. Had they listened, maybe they would have jut gotten rid of this specific technician instead of being rude and unprofessional. I think businesses should listen to their customers feedback.

Yelp1I'd give them a zero if it were available. They had apparently decided to shorten their normal hours for Black Friday without posting it on their website. We innocently arrived and entered their show room at 3:56 P.M. We were immediately greeted by the employee there with "we are closing at 4:00 PM today" and a blank stare---period. We left immediately because that gentleman had made it clear we were not welcome. He tore out of that parking lot before us and it was still before 4:00 PM.

Angi5The entire job took about 30 minutes start to finish. No problems yet. Services Rendered: Our car was stuck in the garage because our lift spring broke. Craig got there as promised at 7am to fix it before we had to leave for work. We had to pay the $200 afterhours fee but we didn't really have any other options.

Yelp5Our garage door opener stopped working and we thought it was the chain. We called Rolydoor and they arrived within a few hours. The repair man diagnosed the problem as a broken sprocket and fixed it for us in short order. He was very polite and professional and did a really good job - especially on a day where it was in the teens and he was working in the freezing cold.I would recommend them highly. Will use them next time if we have any problems with our garage door.
