My wife came home from an errand and the garage door started up but stopped abruptly at 2"! 8:00am Wednesday I called Kitsap Garage Door Co. because they installed a new motor for me 13 years ago. A friendly "human" voice answered the phone on the second ring. This is truly amazing service; in these days of phone robots and answering systems. After checking schedules I was told that a technician could be at my house between 10-11am TODAY! I was stunned twice in five minutes. More good service; Jake from KGD showed up on my doorstep at 9:34am today. Very, polite well groomed and pleasant. After inspecting the door that wouldn't open he showed me where the lift assist spring had broken. He then pointed out that given the age of the hardware was twenty years old he recommended replacing all worn parts and replacing both springs. The 13 year old motor and lift mechanism was in good condition. I figured that if a full rebuild would get me another 20 years then the door would outlive me. I said, how much and he gave me a verbal parts and labor estimate. I asked if he had the parts and could he do it today? He said yes. I said, let's get it done. 11:00 Jake showed me the pile of old parts and demonstrated the rebuilt door. It was so quiet and smooth I was aghast at what a difference quality parts and experienced technician make! Jake gave me an invoice list line item by line item for all the parts and labor. It was within a few dollars of the verbal estimate. This is the kind of company that deserves my business and loyalty they have earned it.

I am always pleased with the excellent, reliable customer service provided by Kitsap Garage Door. I had an appointment to check the garage door bottom seal for possible replacement. The Technician, Don, was on time, so knowledgeable and professional. The seal was still good and he answered any questions I had giving me recommendations.

Your employee who first came to our home and did all the measurements and the two employees who later installed the new door were all very knowledgeable and skilled at their jobs, explained clearly and accurately what they would be and were doing, related politely to us, answered all our questions, and left our garage in very clean condition. Everything from the initial contact to job completion was first class. We replaced an old wooden door with a beautiful insulated metal door with simulated wood look. It really is impossible to tell it's not wood unless you get up close. We highly recommend Kitsap Garage Door.

New garage doors were the last step to making our old dingy exterior look new again and boy did they deliver! I knew we would love the matching color of the doors what surprised me was how quiet and smoothly the new ones work. We have three little kids and every time our old doors opened we'd almost wake the kids who sleep in the rooms above the garage. The first time we opened the new ones I couldn't even hear them upstairs. We had the option to just paint the old ones white but I'm so glad we just went with new ones, it completely updated our garage, house and insulation of our garage as well. Can't stop looking at them when we pull up! It was a half a day process and they were here exactly when they said, on the dot at 8am to start. Something I'm so very thankful for. (Have waited around many hours for people we've had work on things in the house.) So so happy with this whole experience. Thank you!

Kitsap Garage Door Co. You know how they say, you got one job to do. This family owned business deserves KUDOS x 2. After my first contact I was very happy that all questions were answered correctly and honestly, so because they have free estimates and running a special at $145.00 an hour and was quickly warned about the serious bodily injury that can be caused if the cable straps snap loose all the way, and was told that it's still a free estimate which convinced me to not attempt the repair myself. No matter what your mechanical abilities are, do not be fooled how quickly you can be injured seriously. So my appointment was scheduled for 2 pm to 3 pm on Friday May 26th, and being retired they could drop by earlier if time permits. Sure enough my tech Brian showed up at 10:30 am after calling. I was most impressed with there Chevy work trucks which are loaded with spare parts. Brian has over 30 years experience and replaced both side door cable straps on my double wide garage door that is wood and installed 1993. Not only did he have parts, but was finished in less than an hour as I watched every move and realized I could have hurt myself badly. I highly recommend Kitsap Garage Door Co. for any garage door issues on any house. My door opens and closes better know than when I first bought this place in1993. KUDOS to Kitsap Garage Door Co. They were very responsive to my request. Scheduling a repair visit was very easy. Joe, the tech, was quite knowledgeable and helped me understand my garage door issues. He explained what was causing my problem and could have up sell me for repairs but was honest and told me no solution was available other than to install a new door. Since this is part of a duplex, replacement was not going to be an option without replacing the other garage door. I will definitely call on this company should any garage door issues arise.

Terrible experience. Their salesman Brian. was rude and told me all 3 of my doors were dangerous and he would be afraid to park his car under them. He said this was the worst installations he has ever seen. They have worked fine for 18 years. I called him for an minor adjustment and ended with a bid for over $6000. Just had someone out he tuned up all 3 no problems Bill $151. Absolutely the most blatant attempt at screwing me I have ever experienced

I Heard about this company through another fellow yelper homie. Had issues with my garage. Called them and to set up an appointment. The scheduled day They came 30 mins early and the tech was super cool. Came through got the Job done fast and charges were reasonable. Definitely recommending them.

We recently purchased a new to us home that had an older broken garage door opener. The seller advised that a local company had the hard to find part on order and would contact me. Of course, that company did not call. When I contacted it, I was told I would get a call back. Of course, no call back. So I called Kitsap Garage Door for help. Within a few days its technician Joe arrived. He analyzed the issue and remarkably said he had a used part that woukd fix the opener. He said that, based on his years of experience, he learned to retain older, hard to find parts. After fixing the door opener, he checked and realigned my garage doors, reset the door alert systems, then programmed my two remotes and then the wall mounted key pad. The cost was very reasonable; the service was remarkable.

The wait for the order was biblical! Beware. I ordered in September and the doors were not installed until the following May. That being said, good things take time. I was happy with my initial experience in the showroom. Glad they talked me out of some more expensive options because what I ended up with is exactly what I was looking for. Who knew the garage door world was so vast! I took home little metal swatches and catalogs to make my final decisions on my own terms. Put half down and had a few phone calls while waiting to confirm shipping/install dates. The guys that did the install were professional and pleasant, arrived on time. Nice to my dogs so that's a plus. It took all day to replace our three doors, but again - quality takes time! The new doors are gorgeous, quiet, efficient. Thank you!

We had a broken torsion spring and Joe came out on Saturday and replaced the spring. Also correct some installation errors by the original installer, replaced worn out end bearings, aligned misaligned track and lubricated everything. Just an outstanding job.

Garage door tension spring broke on Thursday night. Called Kitsap Garage Door when they opened at 7 the next morning to ask if they could help us get our trapped car out of the garage before the Memorial Day weekend. Amber said they were booked for the day but she would make some calls to see if they could shuffle and get me in. She called back and had Justin here by 8. He was very professional and was done replacing the tension springs, frayed cables, and tuning up the door by 9. The price was reasonable. I highly recommend Kitsap Garage Door Company!
