Yelp5Danny is amazing and knows garage doors inside and out. We were crippled with a broken spring that had been replaced by someone else only a few years ago. He was able to come right away and had all the parts needed in the truck. Not only did he know what to do but explained the contributing factors that made it fail earlier than it should have and what the other guy missed. As a result, we asked that he do his magic on the other garage doors. All of our doors are better than new now, much quieter and we are confident that they will last several more years.

Yelp5Danny did a great job with a my less-than-ideal situation of an old, noisy door with worn parts, unsafe springs, and old chain motor with poor security but HOA wouldn't let me change the door (because I couldn't get a new door that looked exactly the same). Danny had to source hardware and reinforce this old door. I also wanted the door to sit higher when the door is open so that I can fully open the car trunk. His experience with commercial installations meant he had no trouble raising the height (another business told me I couldn't do it without getting a side-mounted motor) and was gracious with multiple visits when it took longer to source some hardware over the holiday period so that I could have the new motor that provided greater security as soon as possible. My old door is now opening smoothly, quietly, reliably and sits nice and high. Thanks Danny!

Angi5From: Sandee B. - was posted on Yelp earlier Garage door tune-up if needed, but especially find a way to stop someone with a rogue scanner from opening & closing my garage door several times a day....once your garage door is open, they can access your house! Frightening! Danny's expertise is amazing! His work is impeccable! All the old flimsy wiring is gone; new fixed wire runs were made so as not to interfere with my multitude of gardening tools which can now be organized on the garage wall; the ground sensor lights are installed into the cement walls rather than having the plastic housng dangling loose; I open & close my garage door with my cellphone securely using the software app; the app notifies me of any garage door open/close status......me going in &out, & if I should forget to close my garage door, I can remotely close it via the secure app. I can even use the app to grant garage door permission to a neighbor or friend when I am traveling or in an emergency, Life is good! The money was well spent! Danny at Lake Washington Garage Door Service is THE BEST! On time; quality work; excellent prices! Services Rendered: garage door tune-up, but especially to eliminate neighborhood rogue scanners from intermittently opening & closing my garage door when I am not at home.

Yelp5Before you read any further you should just schedule and appointment with this company but if you want to read further...............I still cannot believe the outstanding service we received from Danny. I contacted 2 other companies in regards to our problem - not being able to connect our remote to a new car. He was the first to respond back to me in a timely manner. (He was driving at the time but assured me when he got to his destination he would call back). He did...we scheduled an appointment and he contacted me prior to the appointment and was even early. He quickly fixed the problem, didn't try to sell us any new equipment or tell me we needed another "part". We were so pleased with his service and knowledge that I had to write this review to be sure others know of his wonderful and honest and outstanding service.

BBB5I have come to expect to leave voicemail when calling a business. Also expect an appointment at least 2-3 weeks "down the road". Not with *****! The repairs to our 37-year-old loudly creaking and moaning garage door were done immediately. When he arrived to assess the problem I didn't realize his truck was fully loaded to do the needed replacements and repairs then and there. ***** was prompt, efficient and professional. He explained the what, why, and how of each need, both before and after. He stated that he loves his job, and it shows. Our door is now operating ever so smoothly and quietly!

Yelp5Never thought I would be writting about a garage door service. Daniel couldn't have been more sincere and authentic. Our garage door was not opening (not even manually), and we needed immediate assistance. Luckily Daniel is located in the Kirkland area and was able to swing by within an hour. He immediately diagnosed the issue as our tortion spring had snapped - due to wear and tear and really cheap bearing plates. He was able to install better hardware and get our garage door functioning perfectly and out the door in an hour.

Yelp5The owner, Danny, and his installation team were extremely professional, and did a wonderful job. Throughout every step of the process, we were informed of our options, and what type of garage door was needed. Danny also explained why our first door failed (old, heavy door that was apparently re-used by the builder of our house.) The communication was great, and we couldn't have been happier for how it turned out. Highly recommend!

When I first spoke to him about the repairs I needed, I got a strong sense of his integrity and credibility and immediately knew I could trust him to do an excellent job at a very fair price. My first impression was correct. He showed up when he said he would and completed all the work (replacement of the garage door opener and all the related necessary parts, springs, etc) in less than 2 hours, leaving my garage cleaner than it was before he started. And, the amount charged was more than fair, well worth it! Danny is a true professional in every sense of the word, and someone who has a great amount of pride in doing good work. Angi5Our 25-year old garage door opener finally gave up the ghost and I submitted a request for quote via Angi's. (Earlier in the week, I had requested a quote from another garage door service and had not received a quote after 4 days!) Danny at Lake Washington Garage Door Service immediately responded with a phone call and emailed quote at 5:00pm on a Sunday during a holiday weekend! I thought the quote was a fair price based on another quote provided. Danny said he could at our home the next day, Monday at 10:00 am. He called and said he was on the way and was promptly here at 10. The installation was first-rate and even called out that our nylon roller bearings were worn and replaced them as well for a fair price. He was done with the install by 11:20am. The belt-driven LiftMaster opener is amazingly quiet. I would definitely call Lake Washington Garage Door Service again for any of my garage door service. Angi5Danny and his team were professional, courteous, honest and practical about what could/should and should not be done to remediate the nightmare original assembly and installation of 1800 lbs and $15K premium doors. They were fast and efficient. Please use them and NOT the scam artists/marketing garage door website that troll google and bing search. Most of those guys shouldn't be trust to hang a towel rack, let alone garage doors. Services Rendered: Re-assembly and Re-installation of Two New Carriage House Wood Garage Doors
