Google1technician came out did 20 mins of work. to change a key pad and add 5 remotes. a month later the office comes back and said the tech did his math wrong and they want $81.00 more on product already marked up x3 times. yes I paid it and yes I dragged my feet doing it.

Google1Last week Monday I called EDL and spoke with Debra. I explained to her that my spring on the garage door broke and I need it repaired. Moreover, I purchased the entire garage system from them and therefore my information should be in their records. The next day Tuesday 11/14/23 a gentleman shows up and saw the broken spring and was unprepared to replace it. The gentleman stated that Debra told him that my garage "won't open". The gentleman proceeds to measure the spring and return in two days to replace it. He returned Thursday 11/16/23 and replaces the spring. Now he finds out that the motor is broken and he is once again unprepared to replace the motor and or the entire unit. I called that Thursday and again the next morning on Friday to speak with one of the owners, I was told his name is Jack / Jackie. He never returned my call so I called Precision garage doors and that repair man was ready with everything he needed in his van and my problems were solved in one visit. I would have preferred to speak with someone and avoided this review, but it was evident to me that EDL is in decline. Debra is a rude and inefficient person, service guy was unprepared, Jack the owner never returned my calls. The entire experience was very frustrating and I waisted lots of valuable time. Today 11/20/23 I called the credit manager to pay for services rendered. After the credit card payment I asked for a receipt and Mira responded "I am to busy for that now, I can send you a receipt later". This company is on the serious decline indeed.

Google5The spring in my garage door broke and not only were they able to give me a decent price but they were able to arrive the next day to fix it. The service went very smoothly and the technician went OVER AND ABOVE to help me and make sure everything was done quickly and correctly. He was super polite and sweet. I will use this company again because of him. He is Awesome. THEY NEED TO GIVE THAT MAN A RAISE. His name is Lance - ask for him bc he was just fantastic :)

Google1Very unprofessional. Would not recommend. Charging $150 for visit with no guarantee deliverables. They could literally show up to your door, spend 30 seconds looking at motor, tell you they don't service this type of unit, leave and charge you $150. Stay away!

Google1Called this company 9/22 to schedule a service call, was told they would call me back by end of day, with a day they could come out...they never called back. Called again 9/25, operator transferred be back to service, on hold for 5 minutes, call rolled back to operator, I asked to have her try to transfer again, on hold for another 5 minutes. Call rolled back to operator who didn't even acknowledge me, she just transferred me back to the service people, again no pick up. While this company enjoys good ratings, (for their service, I assume,) their scheduling mechanism is horrendous; I will be calling another company for service.

Google5My door broke Sunday morning. I called EDL early Sunday morning. They picked up the call very quickly and offered to service my case the same day (Sunday). The operator was very clear on the price difference for Sunday service vs. Monday service. I decided to wait until Monday and I was told to call at 8 AM. I called back Monday at 8:01 AM and made an appointment with a window of noon to 4 PM. They came around 1 PM, very punctual, nice and professional. The door was fixed quickly and the tech even made the door work more quietly. The price was fair for the service they provided. I highly and gladly recommend EDL.

Google1Had an appointment in which EDL gave me a day but not a specific time. When making the appointment they were given a phone number which they typed in wrong. They came, didn't bother to knock on the doors (I have 3 dogs who bark!) since they couldn't reach me by telephone. My landscaper went to the barn to tell my daughter, and instead of waiting for her they put a note on the door and left. I called the office right away, as the person literally just left my home. They said they'd have him come back. I waited another hour, no one turned up or bothered to call me back.

Google5Our garage spring was broken and EDL came to the rescue super fast! The technician (I feel terrible because I forgot his name) was extremely pleasant, helpful, and quick! He replaced the springs in half an hour. Garage now works like a charm. The staff also kept me updated on his ETA, which was very convenient. I'm sure it's been mentioned before, but their quotes are also reasonable. I have no complaints at all. I highly recommend their service!
