I needed a broken spring replaced on a garage door and when I called they were super friendly. gave me a reasonable estimate over the phone and was able to replace it same day. I opted to have them replace the spring on my other door as well. They arrived then they said they would and the Technician was friendly and fast. Would use again for sure!

I called for service late Tuesday afternoon and Zack was on site the next morning promptly at 10 AM as scheduled. He went right to work on both of our garage doors and had them working perfectly again in under an hour. Excellent service and reasonable pricing too. These guys are the pro's; I highly recommend them for all your overhead door needs!!!

My wife backed into our garage door and took it off the track. I ignorantly tried to fix it and made it worse. I called Overhead door at 7:15AM and they had a tech to my home in less than 2 hours. It was about $300 to fix the door and lubricate my other 4 shop doors. Overall, it was an amazing customer experience.

Excellent Service. They installed our garage door in **** and we have only needed two service calls in 20 years, to which they were "Johny on the spot". Both times within a **************************

These guys are fantastic. Not only did they come in at a better price than the other guys, but they also beat their timeline as well. Our shop door broke down with a job stuck in the shop and a lot more waiting to go in. They communicated well and they got everything done within a couple of hours, highly recommend.

Had an issue with my garage door. Set an appointment for the next day, but received a call a few minutes later saying one of their repairmen was available right then. At the house within 15 minutes, correctly evaluated the problem, quickly fixed. Great customer service.

$165 for a less than 10 min appt and a $6 part. As he was leaving he said my garage doors too old they won't guarantee the work. That's $16.50 per MINUTE he was here. I paid cash and he gave me a $4 discount. Ridiculously expensive.

Yet another company in Spokane that does not provide an accurate quote up front. Called these guys to fix a busted spring on my garage door, was quoted about $196+ tax. They were out next day which was fantastic and was able to fix the door in a few hours. Overall service was great. Now here's my issue. When it came time to pay there was suddenly a $200 service fee. When we called to get a quote on the job, not ONCE were we told about a $200 service fee. That would have been valuable info to share with us considering we asked, how much is this job going to be when we called. So now instead of the job costing about $200 as we expected the total was $441. I'm so sick and tired of companies in Spokane doing this! It's deceitful, unethical and WRONG. Start including ALL fees in your quotes. No one likes to be surprised and told AFTER the job is finished that there is a $200 fee we didn't know about. For this reason I don't recommend them, even though they did great work. I'm sick of this BS.

I would give them a zero if I could. My garage door stopped working so I called them to see what was wrong. The worker did some adjustments and the garage door went up and down a few times. He then charge me $157. As he was leaving the garage door stop working again, so I stopped him and had him look at it again. He then told me I needed a new garage door opener and gave me some prices. I said OK let's put one in now so the $157 would apply to the cost. He said he didn't have one on him and that the $157 would be charged a second time when he came to install another. I said I would have to think about it, so the next day I called the owner. Someone took all my information and the situation, I called again and again over the next few days and the owner would not return my call. Finally the salesman called me and quoted me higher prices and said they would waive the $157. I went with another company because I got nothing for $157 from this company. And the owner won't return your calls.

Had them service a roll up door that was getting loud and had issues shutting. I called just before close, they sent tech out the next business day. He was super friendly and professional. Knew what he was doing. Heard us out on the issues we were having and got the door all fixed up and lubed and now it shuts every time and is much quieter. Great experience.

Had a big issue with my older garage door yesterday after we lost power from the heat. Called Dan at the office and scheduled a repair for the end of the week. He called back the same day and had Matt come out sooner than the scheduled repair date. Matt did an amazing job - inspite of the 100 degree temp! Door works like new as a result of Matts work, friendly attitude and for going the extra mile! Very nice job guys!!

Came home from vacation only to have a broken spring on the garage. I wasn't expecting next day service with all the labor and supply chain issues going on, but they came through big time. They were on time, worked fast and came in less expensive than I expected. Hard to beat. Highly recommend!

The spring on my garage door broke yesterday, and I am so pleased that I called Spokane Overhead Door to come and fix it. First of all, I was able to get a repairman to come the next day (today) to fix it. Second of all, the repairman was OUTSTANDING. He was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. James gave me a curtesy call to let me know when he would arrive, he explained what had happened, showed me all the repairs he needed to make as well as why they needed to be done - he even showed me how to maintain my garage door so I can extend the life of the components. While nobody wants to spend hundreds of dollars to have something fixed, he made it painless, and I felt it was money well spent. 5-stars to James and 5-stars to Spokane Overhead Door!

Be careful when asking this company for service. Ask for prices on the phone before they come. Their service techs do not have a price list for parts. They are told to get the most for whatever parts that are replaced. Be careful as to what they are replacing as well. Some parts might not be needed. Don't be tricked into choosing their "long cycle" spring "deal". They won't cover service and by the time you add in the extra cost and the next service call you are paying in some cases more than if you just put the "normal cycle" spring.

My garage door motor stopped working at 830 am on my way out the door for work. I called this company after a quick yelp search. They had a guy out before the end of the day, and they replaced the motor on the spot. They were professional, courteous, and prompt. Awesome company.

I had a new garage door installed by Spokane Overhead Door, and paid the company in full on 6/15/18. The door they installed had a large dent, it didn't seal to the concrete floor when fully closed, and the trim moulding was installed carelessly with misfired staples. I called the company after the installers left and they sent out a second installer who removed some of the misfired staples as they were a safety hazard, and informed me that the trim moulding should have been nailed on in this application (metal pole building). A week later they came out and replaced the weather stripping so that the door would finally seal at the bottom. Fast forward to a month later, 7/15/18, and I still have a dented door, with poorly installed trim moulding. They were scheduled to come out this week to complete the job, but cancelled last minute via an email with yet more excuses. I called the office and asked to speak to the owner and had an unproductive conversation with John. I then felt it would be best to involve the BBB as it had been a month with no resolution. Surprisingly the BBB doesn't list John as the owner, but Christy. I emailed Christy a few days ago, and have heard nothing from her yet. Who knew that having a new garage door installed would be such a long and stressful ordeal? I hope that this company will finally finish the job I paid in full for a month ago, and make things right. -update- Today (8/9/18) I had the install of the garage door completed. I have adjusted my initial 1 star rating up to 3 stars, because the company did remedy all of the initial problems. They were also able to get us some reimbursement from the door manufacturer which was much needed in this case, and very much appreciated.

This Co. ordered & installed 2 double-car garage doors (in black - not a highly available color) in my sister's shop last fall. She had me look them over afterward because I was working for a garage door manufacturer at the time and had more knowledge of garage door install/function than she did. Everything was installed properly & worked smoothly. Her floor was uneven (a common problem) which resulted in a small gap on the bottom of one side between the door & the floor. So Spokane Overhead Door came back out to put in a larger seal on the bottom of the door which fixed the issue perfectly. I've just moved in with my sister & have since used the doors multiple times. They are still working well & look great. I highly recommend this Co. for their knowledge & skill level. I plan to purchase a home in the area soon & if I have any garage door needs, I'm sure they'll be my first & only stop. Excellent company. There was an error with my scheduling, but they came out anyway after-hours that same day to resolve the issue and install the door. Did an excellent job, and walked me through how to resolve common issues that tend to occur with garage doors. Their prices were also around 200 dollars less than the quote I got from the "other guys." I'll be recommending this company to family and friends.

Cannot believe anyone likes these guys. In the over thirteen years that I've used them, they've misquoted my...more than once, and just recently, they actually CUT the line on my left garage wall opener and now it doesn't work at all! Here's what happened: They came to replace my the opener on the left garage door. After they replaced it (and a couple of hundred dollars later), I kept coming home to the door being opened. When I called them, they came out and said it was because it must be interacting with another neighbor's frequency. Once they left, it still was happening, so when they came back out, they said the only thing to do was disable it and they CUT (yes, they actually cut) the lines to the wall opener - so now it doesn't work from the wall. And they did this without my approval. When I asked them to fix this - stating that this was never a problem for the past 13 years I've had an opener, they said they would not fix what they cut, and they refused to return any of my calls. I only used them over the years because I thought they were the only company in town. Needless to say, I will NOT ever be back. I know some of you have had an ok experience - maybe with a spring replacement...let me just say that if everything works out, then I'm sure they are ok to deal with - however, if something doesn't go well - they will NOT fix their mistakes. I tried to cancel my check, but I couldn't. I still have two cut cords hanging on the wall of my garage, and a wall opener that doesn't work. What a huge disappointment and frustration!

Our 1992 split level home came with the original white non insulated doors. They had received some damage from the recent Spokane wind storm and I had always wanted to replace them with insulated doors. My wife and I decided to replace both doors with new brown insulated doors. We called Spokane Overhead Doors and Alan was able to make it out the same day for a bid. After a inspection of the existing garage door setup and he suggested we go with doors that had double pan steel construction with a foam insulation panel, keep our existing door openers, and replace all the weather seals. Lead time for the special color doors was about a week. Within 8 days of calling for a bid we had 2 new doors in a non standard color installed. The new doors look and function great, and the insulation keeps the garage space about 5 degrees warmer. Services Rendered: Remove and Replace (2) Garage Doors one 16' x 7' door one 9' x 7' door

I was having problems with my garage door going partially down and then returning up. The owners daughter told me by phone she believed it could be a photo eye problem that I could fix myself. By phone she expalined how to check and how to fix it. Turns out that was the issue and I was able to adjust it myself. She saved me the expense of service call from a technician. I really appreciate the help by phone. I will use them again should the need arise. Services Rendered: Helped me fix the problem by phone

Everything went smoothly. Eric was able to come out two hours earlier than anticipated, which was a bonus. All my questions were answered promptly. Spokane Overhead Door did work for us in 2011 as well and the experience was the same...GREAT! Very professional company with friendly staff. We will use this company for all of our garage door needs. Thanks Eric! Services Rendered: Yearly mainteance- tightened, lubed, checked to make sure all sensors and such were operating properly. Weather seal at bottom of doors was replaced, and a new keypad installed.
