County Door Systems technician Josh arrived as scheduled to install a Chamberlain garage door opener that we purchased from The Home Depot. Since at least one of the torsion springs was 14 years old, we asked him to replace the springs in order to avoid a problem later on. He also replaced a couple of roller hinges that were becoming defective. The Clopay door and old Genie opener were also installed by County Door Systems some 14 years ago. They were both purchased from The Home Depot. Given our fine experience with County Door Systems, we understand why they have had such a long and successful history as a garage door contractor for The Home Depot. Went to home Depot and obtained info on replacing a garage door. They were very helpful and said all their Clopay garage doors had been installed by County Door for many dears. Suggested I have my existing problem checked out by County Door to see if warranty might apply. Owner came out promptly and checked door. It was over 10 years old and not under warranty. He made recommendations for new door. I went to Home Depot and purchased one. County Door came out a few days later and did excellent install job. Very professional and courteous. I'm very pleased with the service and the look of the garage. We aren't fully using it yet as we don't have electric running to the garage, but they tested with an extension cord and all was in working order. Looking forward to using our garage.
