I have used the Tucson office several times in the past for personal and real estate related...Fast forward to now the service has dropped from good to zero. They cant properly schedule appointments. When they do and you request a "heads up" on what needs to be done they call once, don't leave a message and do whatever they convince the homeowner to do. Never calling them again. I was planning on having them replace a 2 car garage door and a single at my house but not now or ever. Ownership must have changed!!!!

These people are impossible to work with. I called 3+ weeks ago to get a price to move a door they installed previously to a new opening. The sales guy came out and said he would have a price to us later that day. I followed up each week after that trying to get a price, each time being told they would get it to me asap. Each time they could never find my info in their system despite this quote and having had them install 3 other doors for me. Then they told me that their sales person was let go and transferred me to his boss. Who proceeded to do the exact same thing and never called me back nor provided any pricing. Total waste of my time. Despite having given them a decent amount of business over the years, they will never see another penny from me. Edit: Kaiser left a reply to my feedback asking to have Logan try to make this right. So I figured Id at least give them the shot to turn this around. He was prompt to return my call and show up. However his solution to moving my existing door 10' to the new opening was to instead just buy a new door. Mind you the door Im asking them to move was purchased from them less than 5 years ago and is in perfect condition. Said it was too much labor to move it. My opinion of this company is unchanged, they suck. They are simply coping and pasting a response to the negative reviews to try and make themselves look better, when in reality they couldnt care less.

I Have a Wayne Dalton garage door and needed a new spring. After Three bids I had Kaiser come out because Wayne Dalton in Phx recommended them. The serviceman was very professional and got right to work. He was done in half an hr and the door is working great again.

I am very impressed with the service I received from Kaiser, and specifically Jose M (the installer). The service was to replace exterior panels and trim, but Jose went above and beyond with also identifying and correcting some additional issues from a prior service from a different repair person. His attention to detail and dedication to the work is outstanding and deserving recognition. Thank you for the high level of pride in your work and know it is appreciated.

I would not recommend Kaiser after they installed a garage door and opener in my newly built home. I have had four separate visits by different Kaiser techs. Each one said the other tech installed the garage door opener components incorrectly. Apparently there must not be any installation instructions for the techs to go on, so they perform guess work. I even had to tighten bolts myself because the emergency handle release parts were about ready to fall on my car. Kaiser techs never could adjust the garage door to open and close properly. I had to pay another company to do this since I didn't trust Kaiser.

They did a pretty sloppy job, strong-armed me into paying them, and then he basically got in the truck drove away while I was still looking around and asking questions. When I pointed things out he said something like "there's nothing I can do" or "just fill it with caulk and paint it, it's fine". Trim isn't straight, stucco seems damaged, small tear in the insulation, lack of clean up, and the metal parts of the door are pretty dirty for being brand new.

The technician dismissed my concerns when I addressed them. He spent little time working on the door. When I went to check up on him to review his work, he was gone!!!! He never corrected the huge gap on one side of the door from it's tracks!!!! He used so much lubricate that it permeated throughout my house!!!!!

Beyond perturbed with Kaiser garage doors. I own a home that is less than 2 years old Kaiser has done some maintenance on my garage door less than a year ago. 2 days ago the spring on my garage door broke. This spring is supposed to last 10 years. I could not contact anybody from this company on Easter Sunday and could not get out of my garage because my garage door is 360 lbs. So I called somebody to help get me out of my garage. Call Kaiser today to see what they can do about it and I'm told that the spring on my door only has a 30-day warranty. I'm beyond perturbed because nobody's trying to help me when I have to pay out of my behind to get things fixed whenever you did an adequate job resolving my issue in the first place! I know there are builders and companies that have subcontracted businesses to these guys but I do not recommend them!

Who knew that a $135 garage door safety check involved an abrasive tech putting the door up and down and spraying so much oil from a can that it has permeated my entire house??? This all took about 4 minutes. Is the door safe? Are the springs good? What about the opener? No idea! Mostly this guy was trying to get me to buy a service offered by his own personal business. I used this company several years ago and they were fine. Now, I wouldn't call them again if they were the last company in town. Update...6 days later the smell is still overwhelming and continues to permeate my entire house. What did he do????

This is how they installed new garage doors on a new home. The panels are bent. They also installed the outside keypads on the wood trim instead of the stucco which causes the keypad cover to rub against the garage door. We are waiting for repairs but one must ask if this is how they install a product, how good will the repairs be?

We booked an appointment for a Kaiser installed garage door maintenance, but we did not hear from Kaiser. We checked out email and texts, but we can't find any notification from Kaiser. We appreciate the response from the company and we understand that on line messages may not always reach their intended destination. Next time we will follow up with a phone call to ensure our message was received. Other than my lost service call, our garage door from this installer has been functioning well for 6 years and this was a routine maintenance, not a repair service request.

Stay away from this company, they use the cheap parts that don't last and have terrible workmanship. We had parts incorrectly installed that caused multiple failures just a few years after the Kaiser installation. The repairs were nearly the price of the original installation because good quality parts were used for our repair.STAY FAR AWAY FROM KAISER GARAGE DOORS.

Had 3 new garage doors installed by Kaiser Doors three years ago, their new powder coat version of iron-oxidized copper. Initially very pleased, as Rob Kaiser, who installed them, said to call if any problems. There were no problems until this Summer when what looks like white drips appeared evenly over the three doors. When I called, I was told they were off warranty and would need to replaced. They sent a tech out to see them but he couldn't figure out what could possibly have happened and I did not want to replace them without knowing the cause. As we were not in town, the manager, Jason said he would stop by when we returned to discuss what they could do. I have now called him and left a message three times over two weeks with no call back. Doesn't seem very professional, does it?

This is the 2nd time we've used Kaiser. We had a broken spring. They were very quick to respond. They got here in less than 3 hours from when we called and took less than an hour to complete the repair. They were very professional and thorough. They were upfront about the additional charge for the same day service and gave me an accurate quote before they started the work.

Due to a (continuing) pack rat invasion of husband's shop, he decided to eliminate the drafty, not-tight-fitting huge swing doors to the outside. He wanted to put in a garage door in place of the swing doors. We have used Kaiser in the past so he called them in late July for an estimate. The price was competitive and so he decided to use them for the door. The wait time was estimated to be 4 months with December 4th given as the installation date. Lots of problems with getting help and getting parts were the issues. That was good because husband had to build the "framework" for the door. Last week husband decided he would call Kaiser to get an update and ensure that the December date was still good. When he called, he was told that a purchase order had never been created. Which meant that a door was never ordered and we were not in the installation queue. There had been emails between Kaiser and husband, in which husband had told Kaiser that the price was good and to put him in the queue for installation. The person he talked to said he would investigate and call husband back (which did not happen). So off we went the next day to Kaiser, with husband equipped with copies of emails, etc. I waited in the car and he was back in 5 minutes. Husband said they "were waiting for him" and that the door would be installed in 4 days! Then, he got a call that they would install it in 3 days. Kaiser showed up this morning, on time. The installer said it would take a few hours; he was done in less than that. The door works perfectly. We're happy. Great response and great customer service! We will use Kaiser again.

If I could give zero stars I would- that would equal the level of service I have experienced. As I write this review, I am on hold for a "supervisor " (9 minutes & 53 seconds & counting). The tragedy is the only service I require is squeaky doors- this is a new build & likely would take less than an hour. They have not shown up, or mis-scheduled twice now! It is now one week later, for the third time they have not shown up as scheduled. I wasn't going to send this review as I wanting wait until the actual service was completed. Clearly that is not going to happen, yet again/ for the third time!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS! UPDATE: They finally showed up (after my calling) . While the office help- Delila, Alex- are unbelievably inept, the service technician was wonderful & did a great job.

See above. Services Rendered: General maintenance on the garage door -- oil, tightening where needed, etc. The garage door works like new again. There was a lot of confusion as to the scheduling--the office didn't know that someone had come to do the job and sent another person a day or two later. They need to improve their communication with respect to scheduling.

I called Kaiser for a quote on a job on a property we’re renovating in 2018. We needed two electric gates and a garage door installed. The agent who came out was Steve McMurray who is the general manager. I was hoping to get the job done before we left for the holidays to our winter home in Pennsylvania. As it turned out, it took quite a while to get a quote back and by the time they submitted the quote we had already left for Pennsylvania. So, when we came back to Tucson, I called and left a message for Mr. McMurray to which I did not get a response. I called back on two separate occasions and left two more messages for him and I never got a response. Finally, I called them back and asked why he was not returning my messages. The lady who answered said she did not know why. So, I asked if somebody else can come out and start the job. However, they said too much time had passed and they would have to send somebody else out again. This time however, they needed to send two different people, one for the gates, and another for the garage door. The person for the garage door came out, measured, and submitted a quote at which time we said, let’s get going on this, we need it done as soon as possible. Then on another date, two gentleman came out for the gates and finally after a couple weeks they emailed me a quote only after I called and pressed them for it. When the two gentlemen were here, I informed them that I needed to get moving on this and that I was not going to deal with anyone else. I didn’t have time for multiple quotes, I just need to get this job done. I don’t know why they refuse to contact me or why they don’t want to do business with us; perhaps one of their relatives worked for me and got terminated, perhaps they hate gays, perhaps they disliked our democratic political signs, WHO KNOWS? I have no idea. All I know is they have a horrible attention to detail and they do not follow up. It must be nice to have so much business that you can cherry pick your customers and treat your discards like cr@p. Great. Emailed them on Memorial Day and they called me Tuesday morning and gave me a 2 hour window for Wednesday morning. Service man arrived within window and replaced both springs within about 15 minutes. He was very efficient and thorough. Our garage door works perfectly now. I contacted Kaiser last month to Obtain a quote for a garage door opener for one of our garages and also to automatic our driveway gate. I was told that "Billy" was the contact person. I left a message and he did not call me back. So I called the next day and he said he "just" got my message that morning. Now I called mid afternoon. I have had my own business for over 30 years and when a customer calls, we call them back ASAP. I told him the 2 items I needed an estimate on and asked if he would be able to come out on Feb 20th to look at what we would like to do. He said his schedule was open and he would call me the 19th to let me know what time. Well NO CALL. I called on the 20th and he said, oh, he just got out of a meeting and that if I wanted him to come over he would figure out how to get to our home. I told him "NO" thank you, I do not like chasing people. Well we went on to do other things and finally I am at the point that I needed to get these items done. Kaiser has great reviews and I thought, well, maybe it just was a bad day for him. So called again and talked to Billy and he said he would come out the next day but needed to coordinate my appointment with another one. So I waited and the next day he did call me and said that he did not need to come out he did an Arial view and would send me a bid by email. He said it would be that afternoon or at the latest the next morning. Well, no bid. So I called around noon the next day and got his voice mail. Left a message. No call, no bid. So you can thank Billy for losing a sale. I found another company and they came out today, gave me a quote and I gave them a check. REALLY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Had a broken spring on my garage door; I called their competitor first, but they were way overpriced. I called Kaiser and got a quote from them in which the estimate was 600 dollars LESS (400% difference) then the first company I called. It took them 5 days to come out and fix the spring, (wishing they would had come out sooner, but not complaining with this price difference) The technician did a great job, very professional, honest, and quick! Phoned and received a fast estimate, and then scheduled installation for a couple of days later. Installer arrived right on schedule, and was professional and courteous. Installation went smoothly and the new opener works like a champ. Final cost matched the initial estimate. Highly recommend. Services Rendered: Replace a malfunctioning garage door opener.
