We called last minute on a FRIDAY as our GARAGE door chain broke and they were able to get here the following MONDAY ..... THEY fixed it within a very short period of time the same day. We were happy with their response time and the SERVICE was great . EXTREMELY PLEASED with the WHOLE PACKAGE ..

I hired Overhead Doors to replace an old 70 year old wood garage door. They were very responsive in meeting with me to discuss my options and once hired they were here within two weeks. They did an excellent job and I whole heartedly refer them. Make sure you don't get confused. They are The Overhead Door company with the Red Ribbon logo.

After 2 years we are just receiving a response from Overhead Door Co. !! We have moved on. Just Fyi, The builder was Cypress Homes in Lindale. I stand by this original review. I do not know which franchise or group of Overhead Door Co. this was. No answer needed. We have moved on. By the way, there is only 1 address for Overhead Door in Tyler, so I imagine it was your organization.

Heading out to work on a Monday, my 25 year old Overhead garage door would not raise. I tried to raise it in manual mode and could not. My only vehicle was "trapped" in my garage. Called Overhead door at 7:30 a.m. and told them it was an emergency then explained the situation. The crew was on-site by 10:00 and my door (now with two new springs) was working again. Crew (of 2) was courteous and professional and even cleaned a hand-print off the ceiling without being asked. I really appreciate their prompt attention to my emergency call and the charges were not outrageous either.

We had to call Overhead Door Company of Tyler on a Sunday. Their 24/7 Service was prompt and excellent. The technician called back promptly and came out within the hour. He was thorough and fixed the door. It was great to get it done and not have to wait until Monday as we could not close the door completely to secure our home before the repair. Thanks Overhead Door Company of Tyler!

He was professional and was able to replace a sensor and have the garage door working very quickly. Services Rendered: Our garage door was not working properly. The tech came out the same day, which there is a higher charge for.

Not well. I am not happy. My contractor hired the Overhead Door Company of Tyler to install a garage door. The first garage door that arrived at the job site was damaged. When the second garage door was installed, the installers came when no one was on the job site and didn't inform anyone they would be there. They also did not leave a key to the door. I didn't think this would be a problem at first, since I had to have the house re-keyed and would get keys for the garage door lock. Well, it was a BIG problem. The locksmith locked the garage door and then couldn't reopen it. He said he couldn't re-key the lock because the lock was proprietary to the garage door company. I called Overhead Door Company, and they said they would send out keys. They did and left them at an agreed upon location since I was not at the house. These keys didn't work. I had a renter moving into the house, and he needed access to the garage to move his stuff in. Jason Stanley of Overhead Garage Doors came out and tried to open the door while I was there and could not. He took my garage door key and said he'd come back to change the lock the next day. (I live out of town.) My renter came the next day and said the garage door was still locked, and he couldn't get in. I called the company, and they said they'd changed the lock and left a key in the agreed upon hiding place. My renter tried the key, and he still could not get the door to open. I ended up calling the locksmith company back and paid them $95. With some effort, the locksmith was able to get the door unlocked. He said the door striker bar was misaligned, and he ended up enlarging the area where the bar went through so it wouldn't get stuck. I think Overhead Door should pay the $95. since they failed to make sure the door worked properly. Three different people including a locksmith could not open the door with the "new" key and "new" lock, not just one person. It took a lot of effort. Services Rendered: A new garage door to be installed.

Service was performed well. One short coming is that they did not have an estimated arrival time so I sat home all day awaiting the service persons arrival at 5 pm. Frustrating at least.? Services Rendered: Adjusted sticking garage door.
