Google1Lousy service. Customer service has promised over and over again to send me 50.00 refund. Have left messages for her last 3 weeks. S he did not respond. Failure to respond will result in theft of services charges for money owed me.

BBB1What a frustrating experience! First of all I had a scheduled appointment on Monday and took off work in the afternoon to meet technician for a broken spring but had to reschedule for Tuesday am because technician did not have part needed at that time. Spoke with technician Tuesday am upon arrival and asked to also replace the 2 multi control wall LiftMaster units as plastic cover on each had been cracked but units were still functional. Cost to replace each unit "wall station" $139, or $278 for both. When I came home following spring repair/replacement and replacement of the 2 "wall stations" I literally found what I can ONLY describe as 2 doorbell style garage door openers on the wall where the multi function control panels had been (lock/light/open and close feature). Having paid invoice I contacted OGD Wednesday am expressing my frustration and was told that technician did not have the exact replacement so installed "door bell" style. Had technician called and told me he did not have a proper replacement to replace existing control units and would DOWNGRADE my existing control units I would have never authorized the replacement. Now OGD had said they will schedule another appointment to change out to control units that match what was existing and I will have to take off yet more time from work.

Google5Wonderful experience from making the appointment to the tech finishing the job. Super quick and efficient. Highly recommend! If we weren't moving out of state, I would definitely use them again for my garage door needs!

BBB1I needed a broken spring replaced cause my car was stuck in the garage. The tech showed up and began wanting me to pick a PLAN. The plan he recommended was $779.00 which included 2 springs, only needed 1 and new rollers and a 5 year warranty. He would not start work without me signing for it. Once I signed, he had me. I asked him about the 5 year warranty as to what happens if a spring breaks. He said, we replace it. I asked how much it would cost me, he said that I would only pay a $50 dollar trip fee, which is ridiculous. I was ok with that until later I realized that he didnt tell me that it was a 5 year parts and 30 days labor only. . The only way that I could see his plan was on his cell phone which as I tried to read he held the phone and his fingers were going from right to left on the phone because the words didnt fit in the screen. Not a very professional way of reading a contract. When I realized my mistake on signing this contract of $779 for 2 springs which are about $50 dollars a piece and the rollers are about $25 dollars after talking to another door company, they said that the whole job should not have been but about $300.00. I called customer service and talked to a very rude and unprofessional woman who told me that I signed for it, sorry!!! And then she hung up on me. She said that the tech made a mistake by not telling me about the 30 day labor only warranty. She also refused to send me a detailed statement showing parts and labor charges and I wonder why!! She told me that a supervisor would call me and that never happened. Called again today and a supervisor was supposed to call but never did. Once they have your money, they are done with you. The tech did get a 5 before he left my driveway, but gets a zero after I realized I was scammed. I want half my money back. It is only fair because you were so high on price and I wasnt told right on the warranty. I would have told him to leave if the truth was told to me!

BBB1Not experienced tech guy came out to fix no power being receieved to my garage just to tell me i need an electrician.Spectrum guy drove up after him to fix my modem and clicked the reset button in my Garage and power restored so my $50 should have went to the spectrum tech instead of the non trained ogd ****

BBB1OGD sent a Tech that could not repair my opener but charged me a service fee. I have requested for a manager to call, however no return call. Extremely disappointed and will not use this company again.

BBB1Dont do it. They do not honor their appointment times you will be waiting all day just to get the run around and asked to reschedule multiple times. Even if you make the appointment a week In advance.

BBB1They came out and installed springs on a garage door for me. They didn't load the springs enough to allow my garage door opener to lift the door without having to stop. I was told I had a 3 year warranty. I had been out of town and did not call the in the first 30 days to fix the problem. We are talking about ************************************************************************************************************ $50.00 to fix what they did not do right. Then he told me what "What the company wanted him to do is have a look at it. and tell me there were other issues that caused it. He would just tell them I refused to pay to fix the (other issues) and he would just charge me the $50.00 to load the springs". I told him I refuse to pay to have them fix their mistake. He stormed off in a ****. I am a general contractor when I have a problem on the job that is due to one of my contractors not doing the job correctly, either the subcontractor or I fix the problem at my own expense. It is called integrity. The problem is not just that they hide behind a 30 day labor warranty when they talk about a 3 year warranty, it is that the tech literally told me the companies scheme to rip me off!

BBB2The technicians were fine but they came out about two months ago and couldnt figure out what was wrong at firsteventually decided it was the sensors and replaced themcharging us for the service call as well as the materials to install. About 5 weeks later we started having problems again so I called them back out. They charged us another $50 service charge to tell us that they had a bad wiring connection with the sensors that they themselves installed but would not waive the $50 service charge. Further more they charged an additional $100 to figure out whats wrong with it even though they didnt use any more materials for it. When I called to complain she said its just policy even though it was plainly a faulty job they had done-since it was more than 30 days that I told them (about 60). She also couldnt tell me how the $100 charge to inspect it was different than the $50 service fee so evidently its a $150 fee no matter what which isnt transparent. Very disappointed in how they handled it.
