***** of McCabe's Garage Door installed a garage door for my rental property in August, 2013. Soon my next door neighbor was looking to replace his garage door. I recommended him to my neighbor.I noticed my neighbor's new garage door had a handle close to the bottom of the door. So I texted him several times that he should install a handle for my garage door as well. In addition, I asked for the key to open the door manually in case of power failure.He did not respond for years. I know it is a small job for him to come back just for that and hoped that he would do it when comes to work nearby. but he never did.So in March, 2021, when the garage door of my other house failed, I called him to repair the garage door of my other house and asked him to installed a long overdue handle and the key for the first house that is in the same town.When I came back to check it later, I found he installed already rusted handle of poorer quality than that of my neighbor's.Finally, I asked him to provide the key before I put a review about his work. He responded saying I should call a locksmith since he must have handed over the keys to me. Thinking of any day that garage door opener failure, I am so worried that I may have to call a lock ***** and spend a couple of hundreds dollars.***** has caused a burden in my mind last 8 years on even after I have recommended him to my neighbor and gave him another job in 8 years so he can complete his unfinished job of a handle and a key .
