Google5We are looking to replace or repair our garage door so I called Precision for an estimate. We got fantastic customer service from Dylan! He called beforehand to let us know he was on the way and arrived within the service window. He took the time to explain all of our options in detail and answer any questions we had. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. We got the estimates within minutes after the appointment! Would definitely recommend calling Precision if you're looking for quotes. Update: We ended up having them install the garage door and they did fantastic work! Was all done in one day and it's so nice to be able to use our garage door. It looks wonderful too and really makes a huge difference on curb appeal. Very happy with our new door! 10/10 would recommend Precision Door.

Google5The service technician Dylan was great. He arrived on time, called ahead to let us know the specific time of arrival. He reviewed the maintenance to be done on the garage door opener, provided an estimate and finished the work efficiently. He also connected my new car to the door opener. I'm very happy with the professional and timely service. Would highly recommend.

Google5Our garage door wasn't working when we moved into our house and I didn't know anyone to call in the area. Took a shot with these guys and needless to say I am really impressed! The scheduling was so easy and they scheduled me immediately. The communication regarding the service was on point too. I was consistently kept up to date with who was coming and when. Dylan was my tech and he called to confirm and let me know his ETA. He even called back when he hit traffic to let me know he was slightly delayed. I received a text from these guys so I even knew what he looked like when he got here. When he got here, he got right to work. His professionalism and focus was on point and he diagnosed the issue and fixed it in no time at all. He also spent time going over my system and checking both doors and lubricating the track to make sure things were functional and in good condition. I appreciate that he took the time to educate me about the technical aspect of a garage door and I even learned a lot too. Cost wise, I was dreading this because I didn't know what a garage door service would even charge and was expecting the worst. Dylan was very conscientious about my concerns and made sure to do enough to keep my doors operational and make sure that what I had would be functional. I believe their prices are very fair for the work done and I recommend them on this aspect as well. Overall, I highly recommend this company. Customer service is over the top and the communication is stellar. The tech Dylan was knowledgeable, courteous, and respectful. This company will be my go to for any garage door repairs or replacements and I am happy to have found such a reliable company going forward.

Google5Outstanding customer service was provided by Dylan! Very prompt and efficient service. He notified us 45 minutes before arrival and was right on time. He is such a professional person and really knows the garage door business very well. He explained the different options to fixing the door opener very clear and concisely. He was such a pleasure to deal with and had our new garage door opener installed in a very short period of time! What a great job! Yelp1Came to put a pin back in door. Charged $180 which included a charge for gasoline. When I called, they reduced the fee to $130, essentially equating to $780 per hour. Absolutely ridiculous. Do not use this organization..

BBB1They sold me an electric gate across my driveway and installed it. It has never worked properly. I had a 1 year warrantee . They promised to continue beyond the warranty because of all the issues. However, they started ghosting me a few months after warranty expired. They had numerous communications with the gate manufacturer and replaced several parts. I found out my gate really has a 2 year warranty from the manufacturer. They think it is a sensor issue. The gate continues to have problems but Precision no longer is returning my calls to assist.

BBB1Worst experience ever. Was told of the trip fee but not the added gas fee. Were charge $80 for absolutely nothing!! Came for broken springs but the technician wasnt going to climb around a table and generator in the garage. My husband asked for the technician to given him a few minutes to push them out of the way but he said no I am not waiting. Took the $80 and left. Said we needed to reschedule. Needless to say we got the door repaired by a better more professional company that worked around the items in the garage. Will not recommend this company to anyone.

BBB1Prior work done by this company carried a warranty, but after recent malfunctions in the door the serviceman stated none of our repair needs fell under the warranty and the >$800 spent 2 years prior. He gave an estimate of $1269.00. We sought another comparison and received a new opener and installment for <$650. Based on two experiences with Precision I find them to be overpriced.

Yelp5I returned from a vacation to find a broken garage door spring and door that would not open. I filled out an online appointment request, on a Sunday afternoon, requesting service on Monday. I had a phone call about 20 minutes later from the company and was able to confirm the appointment for Monday afternoon. I was made aware that there would be a $125 service fee for the visit if I did not opt to proceed with a repair. The technician arrived on time, assessed the situation and provided the estimate. He had the parts on his vehicle and replaced the broken spring with 2 new springs, in about an hour. The overall service from this company was excellent and I won't hesitate to recommend to others and use the service again, if the need arises.

They fit us in the next day when I called and Justin arrived earlier than expected (huge bonus). We will be a Precision customer from now on! Angi5I have had consistently positive experiences with Precision dating back to installation of a Lift Master opener in 2005 and new two-car garage door in 2014. I called for help two days ago when our garage door was acutely not opening or closing properly. An appointment slot was given me within two days of my call. Technician Rich Netto arrived when expected. He was friendly, professional and thorough. He was clear in letting me know what needed to be done- including the replacement of a coil which had broken- other adjustments were done and moving parts of garage door wearing down were replaced. The work was carefully done- the garage door is again working very well. The process of getting the help from first phone call went very smoothly. Services Rendered: Garage door and opener- replacing recently broken coil, replacing attacthment on door to opener, tune-up and replacement of worn moving parts on garage door

Yelp1One of my garage doors closed unevenly in a jumping manner. The good news is that the technician Paul called before the scheduled appointment to confirm his ETA and arrived on time. It was downhill after that. Upon arrival, he opened and closed the door twice and told me that the rollers and pulleys on the door were beyond maintenance and should be replaced. He proceeded to give me 3 options to remedy the situation, various combinations of new rollers, pulleys and springs. To say the least, I was surprised at this diagnosis, particularly given the door's relatively young age and the rollers appeared to turn freely without any friction. When I challenged him on his recommendation, he was more concerned with selling me new rollers and pulleys than listening to my concerns. After reviewing the options presented, I decided I had no choice but to pay the $115 'service fee' and send Paul on his way. Later in the day, I found somebody who was able to isolate the problem to one pulley that required lubrication. The door worked fine, and I decided to replace the pulley anyway. The pulley was replaced for less than the service charge I paid to Precision. Just a terrible experience.

Angi5My door spring broke on Sunday and I was able to get hold of a representative who scheduled an appointment that worked for me. The technician, Mike, was very courteous and helpful and was actually early and was able to repair the door very quickly. He also gave me tips on how to properly maintain the doors in my garage. These guys are great and I highly recommend them for your garage door needs! Services Rendered: Door spring replaced

Yelp1We called this company to come to do a very simple repaor to 1 of the hinges that connects the door segments . After he came to do that he told me that I needed new Springs and pulleys as they were old and should be repaired.. I allowed him to change the pulleys. Once you change them, the garage door would no longer go down and would stop halfway and go back up. She kept saying to me I need a minute to think about this. After about 25 minutes of trying to figure it out, and putting screws in where they didn't belong in the track, I looked up and realized that he installed the pulley backwards and it was blocking the door from going up. He proceeded to fix that and the door was still having trouble going down. He then asked me for WD40 which I did Supply him with, and tell me that the track was wobbling and that wasn't allowed in the door to go down. I told him that it never had an issue before. He finally got the door to go down, although it was somewhat wobbly. At that point I told him we're all set and done. Within the next day the door stop going down and kept popping back up. I asked to speak to the owner or manager, and when I got a call back from the manager he told me it was his holiday and why was I bothering him on his Holiday Inn how dare I. I was very courteous and I tried to explain to him that are doors had more issues after the repair than before. He proceeded to tell me his technician did everything he was supposed to and that it's our garage door and it's old. He wouldn't take anything off and at that point I did not want him back at the house. I did have someone else come out to do the repair and my garage door is working beautifully. The company that came to fix the doors had asked who had done the work and said they did a very poor job. I've never written a bad review, but I would never recommend this company to anyone. After we researched after this incident we found there was a lot of complaints against this company

Yelp5Just had Mike Maghakian come to my house and fix the rollers on one of my doors. He was quick, fixed the problem within 10 minutes, max! He was very helpful and explained the process if I wanted to get new doors. Gave me a quote right then and there. Not to mention he came earlier than planned and texted when he was on the way.

Yelp2I used Precision Door Service to install a new garage door for a garage that is only occasionally used. The garage is used as a storage. The technician and the office were responsive and professional. This company is franchised. My impression is that some offices do not honor other office's job (at least in my case). Some offices are very good. I have owned a number of homes across US with garages. However, I keep having problems with the door for this one installed by Precision Door Service. One time spring was broken. A few times it got unbalanced and stuck. So far, none of the issues was covered under their warranty. They charge for coming out to check the issue every time. Their design seems unique: The vertical track cannot be separated for replacement. The bottom rubber seal fell off, but I have not been able to buy part to repair the bottom. I started to believe the only choice I have is to install a new one, which is costly.

Perhaps this company is a good choice if you know you want a garage door replacement. However my experience for a repair was terrible. Within minutes he was explaining I needed new hardware and recommended a new door. I asked for him to fix the door and leave it operational and I would consider purchasing additional services when returning from work the door was inoperable. He was indifferent to my concerns with a follow up call. I had another company come and fixed the issue in 45 minutes for a fraction of the price of a new door. As others have said buyer beware.

Yelp1Had an appointment scheduled with Precision Door today to fix my garage door. I took the day off and my son and I cleaned the garage so the technician would have plenty of room. Appt scheduled for between 2-4 and I called at 4:05 since nobody showed up. The woman put me on hold for about five minutes and came back and said the notes on the account said I canceled my appointment...what?!?! Suffice it to say, tech wanted to knock off early for a holiday weekend. I gave it one star because the guy who booked the appointment was nice and professional.
