Google5Joseph and Cameron quickly figured out the problem with our door, and got it fixed fast! They also gave me some good advice on keeping it running smoothly in the future. Great service, great guys - I'll definitely be calling them again when I need help with my garage door!

Google5Call the office with an emergency of having to secure a door that was hit with a forklift and Angela was very helpful with the process of getting me a crew to fix the door on late hour. Randy and Jason showed up and secure the door will his other two partner showed up. Those four guys showed up and put that door to work. Robert and Traviss that showed up, in the group showed that they have a great knowledge on the the work they do. Great communication on what was going after completion of the work. They were able to secure the building and after spoke with Scott on some work that I have to get done on my house, where Joseph and Camero installed a new motor for me. Great product and very knowledgeable technician. Thank you for helping me out.

Google5I normally don't do reviews...However I've been extremely frustrated finding a reputable garage door repair company. I've called many... when I called this company I thought it was gonna be the same. Boy was I wrong. When Travis and Robert showed up they went straight to work. Emphasis on Travis went beyond and above. I will only use Travis and Robert moving forward. Zach

Google5I'd like to say Thank You to the two young men that came out to do our door. Travis and Robert were knowledgeable and efficient. And they didn't seem mind me asking questions. Both were polite and I appreciate that they were respectful and careful not to trample out shrubs.

Google5I usually don't leave reviews but I had to share my exceptional experience through overhead door of savannah. Scott was fantastic to deal with when I purchased my roll up door for my shop. And the installers (Robert and Travis) were great. They showed up on time and went straight to work and got the door done in a timely manner and were very clean while working. Overall I had a great experience with overhead door and would recommend them to anyone looking to start there next project.

Google1Called in September to get a quote on a 10 x 10 roll up door installed . Scott (I believe)who was nice enough, came out looked at the job quickly. But I had to call back a week or two later to get the quote from them. I accepted the quote and was told that someone would call me to schedule an install appointment. Didn't hear anything for a couple weeks so I called the office. Lady told me that the guy that does the scheduling would call me back. But it's been a few more weeks and never heard from anyone. Almost two months now and still not even a phone call. I guess my money isn't green enough.

Yelp5Overhead Door was recommended by a friend who owns a garage door company in another city after getting a quote from a local company. I expected the quote to be higher and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was substantially less, and they were able to get out and do the repair in about a day. It took their experience technicians less than an hour to do the repair the price was exactly what I had been quoted and I am extremely pleased!

Yelp5Quickest service ever. Knowledgeable tech fixed the problem in less than 15 minutes. I have always used these folks (last 25 years) and find them to be reputable, efficient and reasonably priced products. Kudos to this company!!!

Yelp5I was in need of a front door seal for an older door. The team searched high and Low and found just what I needed. I appreciated their work cutting the piece to the Needed size. Installation was easy for a DIYer, I considered the cost very reasonable. I would highly recommend this company.

Yelp1It's hard to know where to even start with these people. Never met a salesperson that listened less. Loved to hear himself talk and yeah-yeah'd me every time I was speaking. Tried to schedule a specific installation day and was basically told I would get it when I got it. Was told it would take 3 weeks for the door to come in, and it came in about 2 months later. Orderd the door with a glass top panel, had to remind him 3 different times that the top panel was supposed to be glass during the ordering process. Of course when they finally showed up with the door all the panels were solid, none with glass and everyone involved hopped right on assuring me that it "wasn't their fault", so, anyways, they told me they'd install it as is and "get back to me" when the glass panel came in. So the installer installed the door and tried to leave until I pointed out that one one of the tensioning cables was under all sorts of tension and the other one was all loose and uncoiled and ready to fall off of the spool. I dont really have a problem with the installer, he seemed like a pretty decent guy. It's's just frustrating that I had to show a professional what he did wrong as he was trying to leave. A customer that didn't know what they were looking at would have been left with a very problematic dooor. So of courrse, 3 if the 4 panels have dents in them where they strapped them to their truck. It's been several months and I haven't heard Jack about my glass panel coming in. Up front I tried several times to get them to understand that II would need a Friday install while I got yeah-yeah'd again by the arrogant staff, so of course they called me on a Tuesday and said they'd be there tomorrow to install my door So basically I was going to get this beautiful garage door in 3 weeks, but here it is over 6 months later and I still have a piece of shit dented up door with no top glass panel. The workmanship and level of give-a-damn in Savannah is absolutely horrendous pretty much across-the-board in the construction industry, so I don't know that there is a better local company to get a garage door from but my experience with these people could not have been worse. You'd probably be better off buying one from home depot and trying to figure out how to install it yourself. ********************* Update "Coincidently" within days of posting this review, somebody called me from overhead doors and get this, ask me when I'm gonna pay them the rest of their money. So after I blew a hole in her ear drum, The smiling Jack salesman called me back shortly after. simply astonished that my of door was not finished yet, (although it's his responsibility to make sure it was), the apologies just poured in. He also assured me that as coincidence would have it my glass top panel "finally just came in believe it or not" . Yeah.....how bout not. With drooling sincerity, he explained that although he knows hes lost me as a customer, he wanted to use my situation "as an opportunity to train his staff better to insure that nothing like this ever happens again and people get the service they deserve from the overhead door company". He went on to explain that "while he would most likely be hung over Monday, being Labor Day, could he please come out 1st thing Tuesday morning to review the situation personally and assure that it's fixed Immediately". Well it's almost noon on Wednesday and guess what? Ding, ding, ding.... you guessed correctly! Not hide nor hair of this clown, no phone call, nothing.... i'm shocked! I couldn't make this crap up. ,

Yelp3In March of 2016 we had one of our garage doors replaced by Overhead Door Company. They did a complete replace along with the opener. The crew that came out to complete the job did an excellent job. Two months later we decided to have the second garage door replaced and the crew that installed this door did not live up to the same quality of workmanship as the first installers. Several items were done very poorly and this crew stated that they could not install the trim around the outside like the previous door had done. We purchased the trim ourselves and installed it ourselves without any issue. Not sure why the technicians didn't want to complete this portion of the job but it was easy. Additionally, the cross bar that the spring is on was marked to cut to size but they never cut it and it hangs out. Not a big issue but this tells me that maybe their crews are different and make sure you check the crews work out before they leave. The reason for this late review is that we noticed that there was only one review on Yelp for this company. Figured that a second opinion may be nice when others are researching garage door companies in Savannah. Would we use them again we're not sure. Our neighbors used a different company and they were very pleased with their work.

Yelp5I had an incident where my garage door become inoperative. New in the area, I called Overhead Door Company of Savannah. I experienced a professional when I called and a time was set up as soon as possible to coordinate with my schedule. The technician was extremely efficient, knowledgeable and friendly and walked me through what repairs were needed. The price was quite reasonable and will certainly use this Company again. I highly recommend this Company and their professionals. Nancy Mendenhall
