Not a local company. Called and scheduled appt for same day service. Talked to representative at 7:30, informed them I was only available after 2:00. They confirmed appt. They called me at 1:00 (I was unavailable and didn't pick up as i informed them). Called them back at 1:50, they cancelled my appt because the technician "would be driving more than an hour and I didn't pick up." Really? I confirmed with you that morning and told you when I would and would not be available.

Beware!! Found out that our company was severely over charged for a repair. The part was $35 and we evened up paying $420. We had lost the number for the company that had handled our business for a long time and thought we had searched the same company. Which we search "Troy Garage Door, INC" and located this company which on the sales ticket is Garage Door Repair Centers same phone # as Edwardsville Garage Door Repair. The first visit was generous at no charge because they couldn't get parts and referred us to someone else farther away. They came back to maintenance our large doors and then said we needed a new strut, which we had them do the repair. Then also told us that our openers are needing replaced. We finally found the phone number for the company that had handled us for years. When they came out to give us a bit they informed us of how much we had gotten screwed/overcharged and that there were a number of companies out there that just ride on the coat tails of other companies good names. After he looked at our openers we were told that they did not need to be replaced at this time.

These guys are awesome to deal with. I was in need of two new garage doors and looking for a one of a kind look to make my home have a personalized look. Amanda was great to work with and helped me pick out my new garage doors. I ordered my new doors and had them installed last week. These guys are prompt and professional, and I love my new garage doors. Will recommend to anyone looking for great service.

They are very professional and they are nice people. The two garage doors they suggested and installed are good quality and work well. They left my garage cleaner than they found it. Their prices are in line with the industry.

We were having trouble with our garage door rollers coming off the track. We called the people that installed it and previously worked on it. They came out, spent a couple of hours and replaced the springs. Less than six months later the same issues started happening again. This time we called Edwardsville Garage Door and Repair. The owner and his daughter came out promptly and fixed the immediate problem in just a few minutes. They made a suggestion about replacing the rollers and our worn, bent track. We asked for a written estimate and offered to pay them for their time. To our surprise, they told us not to worry about paying them for the quick repair. After getting the estimate for replacement rollers, tracks, hinges and brackets, (very reasonable) we called to schedule an appointment. We were told they would be here on the scheduled day at 1030 and they were. We were told how long installation would take and it took almost to the minute of the estimate. In spite, of having to replace a support that wasn't on the original estimate, the quoted price never changed and we were NOT charged for the initial call. Cleanup was quick and thorough. Our old tracks, rollers, hinges, etc. were loaded into the truck and off it went. We will use this company again and highly recommend them.

Terrible installation. Door started getting hung up 6 months after use, as it was a new construction house. I found the lower support brackets that were mounted to the short concrete wall of the garage did not have anchors, but rather they just screwed the short bolts into the concrete and of course it didn't hold. The track is bent due to the lack of support. Called multiple times and sent emails with pictures describing the issue. Older ladies that answer the phone are nice and say they will pass on the information, but either don't or it's on deaf ears. They mentioned once that the installation was done over 12 months ago, but we didn't move in until 6 months after that and it just happened that their negligence showed up in perfect timing for them. Still haven't heard back on the issue after 3 months of trying to talk to someone knowledgable.
