Mr. AWard has been very gracious when helping with our garage door issues over the years. The latest issue, he was able to diagnose the issue over the phone, had me make a quick change and the door is working again! Didn't even have to come out and wouldn't accept me trying to give him a few bucks for his time on the phone so he certainly deserves 5 stars (and more). Thank you sir!

Have been using AWard Garage Door for over ten years and highly recommend them. Professional, courteous, and most importantly honest. I discovered AWard after another garage door service company that regularly advertises in the Valuepak mailers replaced both springs of my two-door garage at their recommendation as the home was 20 years old. One cracked within a year and both had to be totally replaced by AWard as they were not suitable for the weight of the doors. Most recently I heard a clicking sound when the garage door opened and called Jonathan in the morning. He was able to repair it that same afternoon. Hearing the clicking sound over the phone he suspected the coupler was compromised and this is an item you want to repair immediately. Upon arrival, he confirmed the coupler was the issue and showed it to me personally before giving me my repair estimate. He had the replacement part with him and completed the repair in less than half an hour. He included inspection, lubricating of the garage rollers, etc., and tightening the spring in the cost of the service call. I had added insulation panels to the garage door to deflect the summer heat from the morning sun and had not considered that the weight of the insulation would impact the optimum tension of the spring. I have recommended AWard to many neighbors and friends and all had positive experiences.

We were having issues with our Wayne Dalton Torquemaster system and were advised by several shops to convert it to a standard torsion spring system. We scheduled an appointment with Mike for Friday morning. He showed on-time and was as friendly, professional and knowledgable as everyone said. He performed the work within an hour and gave me a rundown of what he noticed while he was working (maintenance considerations, etc.). Very honest and fair pricing to boot - we will definitely be using him for any future needs.

I called Mike in the afternoon and he came the next morning. Replaced our old garage door opener that was belt-based with a chain-based one. We opted for the less expensive one, which is noisier, but it's been working great since. Smooth and reasonable price.

Got Mike's # from a friend who had used his services. Spring broke today, called Mike at 11:00, said he could be at my house by 1:00-1:30 same day and he would call when on his way. I thought WOW same day service within 2.5 hours. He called about 12:30 said it would be closer to 2:00. Called at 1:45 on his way, pulled into my driveway at 2:03. Evaluated the situation and quoted a completed price including tax. I said lets get'er done. Mike said it would take about an hour to complete the repair, and once again he was finished, got his tools, I paid him and he was on his way in about 1 hour 15 minutes max. I could not be more pleased with his professionalism, and his work. Hopefully I won't need him again anytime soon, but regardless will call him whenever I have garage door issues. He installs new doors, openers, springs and all types of door repairs. I will gladly refer AWard Garage Door to anyone.

Our garage door jumped off the track at 4:00 on a Saturday afternoon. Mike had worked on our garage door a few years ago and we were very happy with him, so I called him back. He explained that he just could not make it that afternoon or evening. The next morning would be the soonest he could make it out. That worked for us. At 8:00 Sunday morning we got the call that someone was on the way. Mike jumped through hoops for us and did not take advantage of our pocket book in the process. I'm hoping I will not have to call him anytime soon, but I did put him on speed dial just in case. Thanks Mike.

Mike was very flexible on when he could perform the services, and could have done the work the next day if we had wanted him to. As promised, he called before arriving, and was very prompt. He reviewed and explained what he was going to do, and finished the job faster than I had expected. His price was what he quoted over the phone (+ tax), and he was friendly and courteous. Mike came shortly after I called. He is a hard worker, cheerful, and professional. He mentioned in our conversation he had been doing garage doors for several years. As a DIY handyman, when I was younger I would replace the broken springs myself, i.e., I know something about repairing garage doors. His work confirmed that he knew what he was doing and he rightly took pride in his work. He explained why both springs needed replacement. He suggested I consider upgrading the quality of the track rollers to ones with ball bearings (at a very reasonable price), but without any pressure. He cleaned, then lubricated the opener mechanisms. He explained why the door bottom seal was a few inches shorter than the door, why it was difficult to replace just the seal (the oxidation that would prevent sliding the new rubber into place was clear from the bare area that made me ask). He took a small piece of new door seal and devised a workable fix for the shrunken seal. After testing all to my satisfaction, I paid him and he was off to the next job. Services Rendered: Replace springs (one broke), track rollers (with clearly better ones), and fixed the shrunken door seal at bottom.

Great! I called at 8:00 AM because our garage door was bouncing back up automatically as soon as it hit the ground. Mike arrived on time by 10:00 and assessed the problem quickly. Our belt was showing wear that affected how high the door lifted and how low it went. He gave us estimates for replacing the belt or replacing the motor and we decided to replace the motor since it would be a different kind of lift system that we believed would be more durable than a belt system. Mike returned quickly with parts and completed the job quickly. He took the time to show me how the system operates before leaving. No muss, no fuss....quick service with a smile. Very thankful to have it repaired so quickly. Services Rendered: Garage door tune up and replacement of lift motor/remotes.

Mike Ward was awesome. I called at 8:30am and he had an opening at 10am. Mike called when he left his 9am appt and showed up before the 10am appointment. Mike quickly assessed the situation and began to work. At 10:30, Mike re-appeared and briefed me on the work he had done. In 30 minutes he upgraded my garage door spring from a single spring to a dual spring system, lubed all the key parts and even repaired an and quot;out of squareand quot; rail. I luckily did not have to go into work that Friday when the garage door wouldn't open. Mike was available immediately and came out within 30 minutes. All went fantastic, Mike was friendly and knowledgeable, went above and beyond and even gave me a discount on the weatherstrips because I had so many things to take care of. He was on time and professional. I highly recommend him! Services Rendered: Replaced a worn out gear, installed a missing strut rod, adjusted garage door alignment due to the house shifting (which drastically reduced the squeak and noise), installed the garage door laser sensors in the proper locations (previous owner by-passed the sensors). He also replaced the weatherstrips, tuned-up and oiled all parts for both garage door openers.

We moved into a house with a free standing garage. The garage door was fastened to the wall with no opener and therefore did not function. The sellers provided a garage door opener, but we would have to have it installed. A friend recommended this company as she thought he did a good job on her garage door repair. I called Mike and he was able to come out the next morning. He arrived on time and was very kind and clear. He told me the opener I had wasn't very good, but he'd install it anyway because he couldn't return it as it had been discontinued. He estimated it would work for 3-5 years and the plan is to install a better one then. The job was performed in a timely manner and at a reasonable cost.
