Yelp2Service was ok. Fast response, however i was asked to pay in cash. I asked for a receipt and I was promised one would be sent to my email. After 2 months of calling and leaving messages, i got no receipt and no answer. I do not recommend this business.

Yelp5One of the springs on my garage door broke, due to age and the 100 plus heat from this past weekend. I spoke with John at 9:20am, they were at my home by 10:45am, and they had replaced both springs by 11:15

Yelp5J Pena put up our door originally (7 years ago). Came out last month with 24-hour notice for dual-spring replacement, door reinstallation on track and cables. John is a great value, working repairs alone and bringing his 40 years of owner/operator experience with him.

Yelp5They installed a new garage door last year. Last week they installed a new opener. Both times outstanding! Don't bother looking around. Father and son team the best.

Yelp5Outstanding service! I gave them a call and left a message about an issue with the tension on my garage door opener. John called back about an hour later and we set a time for him to come out the next afternoon at 5pm. Shortly before our agreed time, Rueben called to say he was on his way but would be late because he had just finished his previous job and traffic would make it take a while for him to get to me. I love that he called in advance, he didn't just show up late or no show. Great communication is so hard to find these days so it really stands out when a contractor does the basics of courtesy. It was getting late in the evening and many contractors would say it was too late and we'd have to reschedule. Not Rueben, he didn't mind working late. Great work ethic. He took at look at it, knew exactly what to do, took care of it in about 20 minutes and now the door is working better than ever and is so smooth it barely makes a sound. He even lubricated my other garage door just because he was there. When I asked him how much, it was a totally reasonable price for the visit. I was super happy with his service and price. I previously had tried to get someone else to fix this same problem, but that guy no-showed 3 times. He needs to take a lesson from Rueben. I highly recommend J Pena and will definitely use them again next time my garage door needs work.

Yelp5I live in south San Jose. Earlier this year the company installed a garage door opener for me. The price was fair and the crew arrived as scheduled to do the install. What I really liked was their extra effort to look at all the door tracks and connections..They discovered some weak points in the metal and took the time to reinforce the spots. Everything is working great. Highly Recommended...
