Google5Josh just left here and did an excellent job. I needed a spring replaced and couldn’t get the car out of our garage. He was here within two hours of my call and the workmanship was great. Josh was very good, informative and went above and beyond fixing other little things that he didn’t have to do. Thanks Josh

Google5Not only was Josh the technician super knowledgeable, he was also kind and explained the whole process. I know nothing about garage door repair, and he took me step by step through what to look for, what needed repair, and what kinds of things to fix to be preventative for safety. When I need to change the cables and hinges, I’ll be asking for Josh!

Google5My garage door stopped working unexpectedly this week and Preferred Garage Doors was there within 24 hours. Josh was exceptional. He patiently explained everything and I never felt pressured or like he was making a sales pitch. He went above and beyond and had our door working within a few hours. He even synced up the garage door opener with my car which I never could figure out! I would def recommend and call again.

Google5Our garage spring broke, and the Preferred Garage Door team was incredibly quick to help, offering same-day service. Joshua was fantastic! He walked me through every part of the garage door, clearly explaining what needed repair, what was still in good working condition, and what to keep an eye on in the future. They were transparent about pricing from the very beginning, and I never once felt upsold or pressured. Instead, it truly felt like Joshua was looking out for our safety and helping us get the most life possible out of all the moving parts of our door—which is so appreciated when you don’t know much about the service being done. Thanks to him, it feels like we have a brand-new garage door, and I now have a much better understanding of how it all works. Couldn’t ask for a better experience!

They were able to accommodate my schedule on short notice, and I really appreciated how quickly they responded, coming out the very next day to replace my garage door springs. Their pricing was also very reasonable for the quality of work performed. Josh, the technician, did an outstanding job replacing the torsion springs and all three bearings. He was very personable and took the time to clearly explain everything, addressing all my concerns with patience and detail. His professionalism, attentiveness, and thorough workmanship really stood out. I’m extremely satisfied with the service and highly recommend Preferred Garage Doors and Josh for any garage door needs.

Google1The installer did an excellent job and was very easy to work with. However, I would not recommend this company to anyone. After I signed the invoice and paid the full amount listed, the company later claimed I owed an additional $150, saying I was “incorrectly informed” about the price of the new garage door opener. They even altered the original invoice with my signature to include the extra charge. Had I known the true cost upfront, I would have kept my original garage door opener, which worked perfectly fine. To make matters worse, they also kept the remote control that came with the opener I purchased, assuming they could keep it since I had bought a wireless opener as well. That’s not acceptable business practice. Overall, while the installer was great, the company’s handling of billing and product ownership was dishonest and unprofessional. I will not be recommending this company to anyone.

Google5This company was very easy to schedule with. I never had to get on the phone during business hours, just an email from the website and communicated that way. Connor gave me a call when he was on his way. It was very clear he did not get paid on sales commission because he would make recommendations and educate me with needs, but respected when I said "no for now" the first time. My garage door went from being a medieval drawbridge to a like-new door. He also programed new garage door openers and reset my mounted garage door code for me. That was very helpful!

When my torsion spring decided to snap, Conner T came out same day & went above & beyond. He upgraded my torsion spring to a heavy duty version & replaced all my steel rollers with nylon ones. Fair pricing & quick professional service!
